The current literature reports a wide range of diagnostic accuracy of non-contrast magnetic resonance coronary angiography (NC-MRCA) for the assessment of coronary artery disease (CAD). We aimed to compare the clinical effectiveness of NC-MRCA with that of invasive coronary angiography (ICA) in patients with suspected CAD using a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Two investigators independently extracted 36 published manuscripts between 2010 and 2019. Databases including Medline, Web of Knowledge, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Cochrane were searched using pre-established keywords. The diet of snapper includes a variety of intermediate hosts of larval nematodes, and as a result, snapper has potential to become highly infected with zoonotic/non-zoonotic nematodes. link2 The aims of this study were to survey nematodes in snapper from Australia and New Zealand waters and to identify nematode species using combined morphological and molecular methods. The zoonotic potential of nematodes identified in this study are discussed. A total of 112 snapper were purchased from the Sydney fish market, New South Wales, Australia. Fish were dissected and only the visceral content and digestive tract were examined for nematode infection. Parasites were initially identified by the microscopic method as four different types belonging to the families Anisakidae (Anisakis types I & III, and Terranova type II) and Cucullanidae (Dichelyne spp.). We developed the SYBR Green quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) method for two species-specific detection assays, which could be conducted simultaneously. The method was subsequently employed to detect and identify he ratio of A. cantonensis and A. malaysiensis larvae infecting the snails can also be estimated simultaneously. To assess the change in the quality of life (QOL) in head and neck cancer patients treated with Simultaneous Integrated Boost (SIB) by Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) technique.

Thirty patients with localised head and neck cancers (Stage II- IVa) were treated with VMAT and SIB technique. The three-dose levels prescribed were 68.2 Gy at 2.2 Gy/fraction, 62 Gy at 2 Gy/fraction and 55.8 Gy at 1.8 Gy/fraction to the high, intermediate and low-risk volumes respectively. Concurrent chemotherapy with cisplatin 100 mg/m2 was administered once in three weeks. Acute toxicities were evaluated and scored according to the RTOG grading system. Quality of life (QOL) was assessed using European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) QLQC30 and HN35 questionnaires at baseline and in three instances (immediately, one month and three months after the radiotherapy).

Out of the total 30, 80% patients had a complete response (CR) at the median follow up of 12 months, while three patients died because of progression, and the remaining 3 had stable disease. All planning objectives were achieved for organs at risk and planning target volume(PTV). Sepsis is one of the major factors for both term and preterm babies with morbidity and mortality. On the basis of recent clinical trials, altered circulating micro-RNAs (miRNAs) may serve as possible biomarkers in sepsis for diagnosis and prognosis. The aim of this research is to assess the diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of miRNA 15b and miRNA 378a for neonatal sepsis.

This study was carried out 25 neonates with sepsis admitted to neonatal ICU of Menoufia University Hospital and 25 healthy controls from February 2019 to May 2020. The relative quantification (RQ) of miRNA-15b and miRNA-378a expression was assessed using real time PCR technique. Results Our results demonstrated that patients with sepsis had significantly higher level of MiRNA-15b than the healthy volunteers. On the other hand, patients with sepsis had significantly lower level of MiRNA-378a than the healthy volunteers. The ROC curve showed that the serum MiRNA-15b was a significant discriminator of sepsis with a combined sensitivity and specificity of 76% and 88% with cutoff point of 3.24. In addition, serum MiRNA-378a was a significant discriminator of sepsis with a combined sensitivity and specificity of 60% and 88% with cutoff point of 0.361. The miRNA-15b expression significantly correlated positive with respiratory rate (r =0.415,p =0.039), WBCs (r=0.408, p =0.043), and CRP (r =0.407, p=0.043). Likewise, miRNA-378a expression significantly correlated negative with respiratory rate (r =-0.415p =0.024), WBCs (r =- 0.442, p =0.027), and CRP (r =- 0.459, p=0.021).

Angiotensin I converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is the known receptor of SARS-CoV-2 surface spike glycoprotein for entry into human cells. A recent study reported absent to low expression of ACE2 in a variety of human lung epithelial cell samples. Three bioprojects (PRJEB4337, PRJNA270632 and PRJNA280600) invariably found abundant expression of ACE1 (a homolog of ACE2 and also known as ACE) in human lungs compared to very low expression of ACE2. In fact, ACE1 has a wider and more abundant tissue distribution compared to ACE2. Although it is not obvious from the primary sequence alignment of ACE1 and ACE2, comparison of X-ray crystallographic structures show striking similarities in the regions of the peptidase domains (PD) of these proteins, which is known (for ACE2) to interact with the receptor binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.
