Fusarium spp. click here are pathogens plants, animals and humans, isolated from soil, plants and water systems. They are distributed worldwide and include saprotrophic, biotrophic‑pathogenic or endophytic fungi, or producers of mycotoxins (fumonisins). Human isolates are becoming the leading mycosis affecting immunocompromised patients and frequently involved in mycoses of aquatic mammals and reptiles, included sea turtles or their eggs. Here reported are three severe cases of unusual localizations of Fusarium in loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) and their diagnostic, therapeutic and clinical output. In the clinical practice, correct genus‑level identification of Fusarium species is critically important to enable correct treatment as in vitroantifungal susceptibility testing is mandatory for each Fusarium‑like isolate. For this reason, susceptibility testing can significantly help the practitioner in choosing the most appropriate therapeutic protocol.PRP-therapy - method, based on local application platelet rich plasma. Efficiency of this method is investigated and approved both in vitro and in vivo. PRP includes growth factors platelet derived growth factor, transforming growth factor, epidermal growth factor, insulin-like growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, which significantly accelerate regenerative process. PRP-therapy reduces pain syndrome, accelerates tissue regeneration and has an anti-inflammatory effect. The article presents literature data on the use of lymphatic methods therapy in complex treatment of patients with diseases of various nosologies in general surgery and dentistry. Clinically and experimentally obtained data on the advantage of lymphatic therapy compared with other methods of drug administration are indicated.Translucent zirconia ceramics for fabrication monolithic restorations is a ceramic material of latest generation. The objective of this literature review is discussing the ways to increase the transparency of zirconia, novel technologies of its manufacturing (part 1) and laboratory procedures for fabrication translucent zirconia restorations, factors affecting the transparency, optical and physico-mechanical properties of the material, as well as indications for its use (part 2).The article presents two cases of sisters with malocclusion distal deep bite with typical skeletal and soft tissue deformation. In the first case classic three-steps orthognatic treatment plan was realized orthodontic preparation with subsequent orthognatic bi-maxillar surgery with genioplasty. In second one we made contour-plasty with implants. Two different plans follow to two different results. Discussion around all differences of two approaches is the main interest of this overview. The article describes diagnostics and surgical treatment of a rare benign tumor (lipoblastoma) of four anatomical areas of the head and neck in an 8-months child. Diagnostic data, surgical procedure performed using microsurgical techniques and intraoperative neuromonitoring and the patient's condition in the long-term postoperative period are presented. The histological conclusion about the removal of the tumor with negative resection margins suggests favorable prognosis of the disease. The article presents a clinical case of an immunohistochemical study of a rare disease necrotizing sialometaplasia in the hard palate. Due to the complexity of the differential diagnosis between necrotizing sialometaplasia and squamous cell carcinoma, an immunohistochemical method was used with antibodies to proteins Ki-67, P53, P63 and cytokeratins-7 and Immunohistochemical study established low proliferative activity of glandular cells in excretory ducts and metaplastic squamous epithelium for Ki-67 protein, significant expression of protein P63 was detected both in the ductal epithelium nuclei and in metaplastic areas and expression of the mutant protein P53 was approximately absent. Marked expression of cytokeratin-7 in the ducts cells and weak expression in necrotic acini of the glands and metaplastic epithelium was noted. It was shown that cytokeratin-15 homogeneously stains the peripheral zone of metaplastic epithelium, which is characteristic of a benign lesion. Thus, the panel of antibodies to proteins Ki-67, P53 and cytokeratins-7 and 15 allows to verify necrotizing sialometaplasia. The paper presents a clinical case demonstrating the necessity for scarce dental implants surgery in tissues affected by multiply surgical and radiological procedures. The patient underwent 13 interventions, 4 reconstructive procedures and 3 courses of radiotherapy resulting in extensive facial defect. An orthopedic construction was fixed in a defect on mechanically stable single-stage implants with screw-retained orthopedic platform and trans-zygomatic implants on the contralateral side. The method is based on virtual diagnostics and choice of materials for 3D-prototyping of a framework to fill the defect and serve as supportive element for fixation and stabilization of obturator and facial mask.

Was to study the dental status, control individual hygiene and assess the quality of life of patients with jaw defects in combination with medical osteonecrosis at the stages of orthopedic rehabilitation.

38 patients were examined, divided into two groups of 19 people aged 49 to 74 years (average age - 61.5±4.25 years). The main group was comprised of patients after resection of the jaws for malignant neoplasms. The comparison group consisted of patients with partial tooth loss who do not have a history of cancer. All participants used individual hygiene products in the form of parodontax Complete protection toothpaste and parodontax Extra 0.2% mouthwash, along with dental prosthetics, according to a certain scheme. The analysis was performed at the beginning of the study, after 7, 14 days and 2 months. The results of prosthetics and the quality of life of patients in both groups were evaluated using a questionnaire developed by us, which allows us to evaluate various parameters (pain, functions, sensatioctional, cosmetic and social rehabilitation.

Due to the growth of oncological diseases of the maxillofacial region, there is an increasing need to improve methods of orthopedic treatment of post-resection defects of the upper jaw with modern designs of replacement prostheses.

Improving the quality of orthopedic treatment by creating an improved upper jaw resection prosthesis and justifying its use.

We studied the effectiveness of orthopedic treatment of post-resection defects of the upper jaw using the proposed replacement prosthesis with a pneumatic obturator. A special questionnaire was used to analyze the level of adaptation and maladaptation of patients.

There was a significant decrease in complaints and adaptation time in the group of patients with a replacement prosthesis with a pneumatic obturator.

The use of the proposed resection removable prosthesis helps to reduce the period of adaptation to the prosthesis, which indicates that it can be widely used in clinical practice.
