To undertake a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) to establish priorities for future research in diabetes and pregnancy, according to women with experience of pregnancy, and planning pregnancy, with any type of diabetes, their support networks and healthcare professionals.

The PSP used established James Lind Alliance (JLA) methodology working with women and their support networks and healthcare professionals UK-wide. Unanswered questions about the time before, during or after pregnancy with any type of diabetes were identified using an online survey and broad-level literature search. A second survey identified a shortlist of questions for final prioritisation at an online consensus development workshop.

There were 466 responses (32% healthcare professionals) to the initial survey, with 1161 questions, which were aggregated into 60 unanswered questions. There were 614 responses (20% healthcare professionals) to the second survey and 18 questions shortlisted for ranking at the workshop. The top 10 questions were diabetes technology, the best test for diabetes during pregnancy, diet and lifestyle interventions for diabetes management during pregnancy, emotional and well-being needs of women with diabetes pre- to post-pregnancy, safe full-term birth, post-natal care and support needs of women, diagnosis and management late in pregnancy, prevention of other types of diabetes in women with gestational diabetes, women's labour and birth experiences and choices and improving planning pregnancy.

These research priorities provide guidance for research funders and researchers to target research in diabetes and pregnancy that will achieve greatest value and impact.

This study investigated the effectiveness of an interactive sexual and reproductive health education program in aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy among adolescents.

Quasi-experimental study underpinned by social cognitive theory.

A stratified cluster sample of 469 students from the two-branch middle school in a city in eastern China who were assigned to the experimental (n=233) and control (n=236) groups.

Students' sexual knowledge, attitudes, and refusal self-efficacy were assessed before (T0), immediately after (T1), and 1month after the intervention (T2), respectively.

Students in the experimental group received two 40-min sessions of the educational program while the control group received the usual mode of sexual and reproductive health education.

Compared with the control group, students in the experimental group acquired more sexual knowledge (p<.01), and developed more positive sexual attitudes (p<.05) and stronger sexual self-efficacy (p<.05) across the study period.

The proposed sexual and reproductive health education program incorporating various interactive activities was effective and could be used for school-based implementation led by nurses and other health care workers.

BP was administered orally for 42 days and 5 mg/kg of DOX was injected intravenously at days 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42. Daratumumab mouse Hematological parameters, antioxidant enzymes and inflammatory cytokines were measured. Apoptosis-related genes were investigated using Real-Time PCR and western blot. DOX significantly decreased blood cells count, cytokines, and antioxidant enzyme. It also increased the expression of apoptotic genes in spleen and BM. The BP significantly improved hematopoietic function, antioxidant parameters, and serum levels of hematopoietic simulating-cytokines. Also, BP significantly reduced the expression of apoptotic genes. These results confirm the immunomodulatory activity of BP in DOX-induced biochemical, molecular and histological immunosuppression. PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS Chemotherapy drugs are being developed every day but are limited due to their side effects. The most important side effect of chemotherapy drugs is the suppression of hematopoiesis through its direct effect on bone marrow and hematopoietic cells. Today, many studies are done on natural, synthetic and semi-synthetic compounds to reduce the effects of chemotherapy drugs. Compounds that, along with chemotherapy drugs in the treatment of various tumors, maintain the hematopoietic pathway, synergize the antitumor effects of chemotherapy drugs, and also protect other organs of the body from free radical damage produced by chemotherapy drugs. One of these natural compounds is bee pollen, which has all the properties mentioned in chemotherapy supplements and can be used in the pharmaceutical industry.Environmental enrichment supports the well-being and welfare of captive animals. In the current study, the most suitable form of enrichment device for captive green turtles (Chelonia mydas) was investigated, to support head-start programs rearing turtles for release into their natural habitat. Fifteen-day-old turtles (113-114 g initial weight, n = 75) were randomly distributed into 15 experimental plastic tanks, comprising 5 treatments across three pools of each condition. The turtles in the experimental groups were exposed to four forms of enrichment devices (RS, ring shape; HSQS, hollow square shape; SS, sphere shape; CS, cylinder shape), and their outcomes related to growth, feed utilization, behavior, reduction of injury from conspecifics, and several health parameters were compared to those of a control group. At the end of the 10-week trial, the growth and feed utilization parameters did not differ across the five groups (p > .05). Of the turtles in the experimental treatments, those in the RS treatment spent more time interacting with the enrichment device, followed by the HSQS group.
