Cemento-ossifying fibroma (COF) is a type of benign fibro-osseous tumor that mainly occurs in the maxillofacial region. Bone reconstruction after the surgery is often performed with bone transplantation. However, the present case report describes the accurate diagnosis and successful surgical resection of a COF with periosteum preservation, after which the defect was completely and spontaneously filled with the newly formed bone through a natural process.

The orthodontist must choose from these appliances depending on the mechanics, efficiency, and cost of the appliance. Fixed functional appliances may reduce the individual visits and hence the cost as compared to the removable appliances. Additionally, it may save the clinician's chair time. At that time, a disposable 33G needle was broken and accidentally inserted into the pterygomandibular space during IANB. A broken injection needle was presented at the base of the left coronoid process of the mandible on computed tomography (CT). We successfully removed the broken injection needle using fluoroscopy and assisted endoscopy under general anesthesia.

The aim of this study was to translate the Exercise Benefits/Barriers Scale and Exercise Motivation Inventory-2 to Maltese and undertake psychometric testing.

Maltese-speaking participants (n = 170) aged 18 to 69 years were recruited. 72% completed both questionnaires twice within an 8-to 48-hour period. Reliability was calculated using the Spearman correlation, intraclass correlation coefficient, and Bland-Altman plots. Convergent construct validity was tested using Spearman correlation between theoretical variables.

In total 155 participants completed the questionnaires at both time points. The test/re-test reliability of the two questionnaires was >0.7 for all analyses. Correlations for validity were statistically significant (p < 0.05).

A total of 526 adults participated in this study. The path analysis results indicated that attitude towards online and face-to-face counseling differentially mediated the relationship between COVID-19 fear and both counseling intentions, even when controlling for other covariates. Specifically, fear of COVID-19 predicted positive attitudes towards online counseling (value of counseling), which in turn, predicted online counseling intention. By linking the relationship between natural products fermented by probiotic, gut microbiota, immunity, and inflammation, this review presents the modulating effects of probiotics and their fermented natural products on the body, including immunity-enhancing and anti-inflammatory activities by modulating gut microbiota, and it is discussed that the current understanding of its molecular mechanisms. Recently, there have been only a few survey papers that addressed chest X-ray classification using deep learning techniques. However, they lack the analysis of the trends of recent studies. This systematic review paper explores and provides a comprehensive analysis of the related studies that have used deep learning techniques to analyze chest X-ray images. We present the state-of-the-art deep learning based pneumonia and COVID-19 detection solutions, trends in recent studies, publicly available datasets, guidance to follow a deep learning process, challenges and potential future research directions in this domain. The discoveries and the conclusions of the reviewed work have been organized in a way that researchers and developers working in the same domain can use this work to support them in taking decisions on their research.The pandemic has accelerated e-commerce adoption for both consumers and sellers. This study aims to identify factors critical to the adoption of electronic markets (EM) during the pandemic, from the perspective of small sellers in non-metro cities. The research design utilizes core dimensions of the UTAUT model and selected constructs from protection motivation theory; since business closure vulnerability also triggers electronic market adoption. A questionnaire survey method was used to collect data from 150 sellers from tier-II/III cities of India. Study results identified performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and perceived vulnerability as significant determinants of behavioural intention towards adoption of EM. The findings also explain the moderating impact of sellers' awareness of information technology and merchants' age on behavioural outcomes. Every participant underwent pure tone audiometry tests, neuropsychological evaluations, and MRI scanning. Independent component analysis (ICA) was carried out on the MRI data and the cerebellar network was extracted. Granger causality analysis (GCA) was conducted using the significant cerebellar region as a seed. Pearson's correlation analysis was computed between imaging characteristics and clinical features. ICA found the effect of group on right cerebellum lobule V for the cerebellar network.
