Retrieval of data using the Pre Development Screening questionnaire with the results of the validity test r-value of 0.39-0.73 and the reliability test results of the Cronbach alpha of 0.92. Data was collected in June 2019. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution. RESULTS The results showed the majority of respondents aged 2-3 years (94.6%), male sex (53%), and The majority of toddler's caregiver are parents (82%)and have behavioral characteristics that lead to normal psychosocial development (86.4%) and 13.6% lead to deviant psychosocial development. The study aims to explore the family support of persons in the wake of physical restraint or confinement. METHOD The study used a qualitative study with phenomenology approach. Purposive sampling technique was used to select participants who were diagnosed of schizophrenia and have experienced physical restraint and confinement. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with ten participants. The data were analyzed by using the Colaizzi's method. RESULTS The family as the source of support is needed by the patient daily to complete their healing process. The study identified three themes, namely (1) supervision of taking medication, (2) providing continuity and optimized care, and (3) empowering people with schizophrenia. CONCLUSIONS Family support is very important for people with severe mental illness. Psychiatric nurses need to assist families to scale up support for people with schizophrenia. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to analyze the relationship between burnout and resilience of nurses at one private hospital in Indonesia. METHOD This was a quantitative correlational design with 120 nurses as the sample. This study used Maslach burnout questionnaire (Cronbach's alpha 0.826) and resilience questionnaire by Barr (Cronbach's alpha above 0.895). Data were collected in March 2019 and were analyzed with Pearson test. This study conducted both univariate and bivariate analyses. RESULTS This study revealed that almost two third of nurses, experienced burnout as reduced personal accomplishment (70%), yet had resilience as optimism (88.33%). This study revealed that there was a significant relationship between nurses' burnout and resilience with low correlation coefficient (p value=0.011 and r=0.232). CONCLUSION It is noted that nurses' burnout is related to their resilience. Further exploration on how to increase nurses' resilience for addressing nurses' burnout is expected. OBJECTIVE To find out the relationship between psychological preparedness and anxiety of the elderly in earthquake prone areas. METHOD The design in this study uses quantitative descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach with a sample of 355. The sampling method used is Multistage Random Sampling. The questionnaire used in this study has passed reliability and validity test. Univariate and bivariate data analysis were conducted. RESULT The results of the study also showed there is a relationship between psychological preparedness and anxiety in the elderly in earthquake prone areas (p=0.039). CONCLUSION The results of this study prove the research related interventions that can be done to improve psychological preparedness and reduce anxiety. OBJECTIVE This study was aimed to determine the difference between the average blood pressure and heart rate for men's voley ball team before and after the match. METHOD The research design used inferential analytical surveys with sample of 12 man voley ball team of the University of Timor (using the total sampling method). Collecting data was conducted by measure the respondent's blood pressure and heart rate before and after the voley ball match with the stipulation of 3 sets of wins. The tools used in this study to measure blood pressure is a stethoscope and OneMed Tensimeter Aneroid - Ash while the heart rate is measured using stop wacth. RESULT Analysis using paired T test statistics, the results obtained there is a significant difference in the average of systolic blood pressure before and after the match [129.17mmHg (SD 10.84) vs 115.00mmHg (SD 6.74), p value=0.004]. There is no significant difference in the average of diastolic blood pressure before and after the match [79.17mmHg (SD 2.89) vs 79.17mmHg (SD 6.69), p value=1.000]. There is no significant difference in the average of heart rate between before and after the match [82.75times/min (SD 6.12) vs 83.58times/min (SD 5.58), p value=0.632]. CONCLUSIONS Warming up before the match is important so that it gives a good chance of adaptation to the body. It is recommended to the competition committee to prepare a first aid team for an accident. And to further researchers in order to add other variables that affect blood pressure and heart rate in sports. OBJECTIVES To identify the validity and reliability of Cervical Cancer Awareness Measure in Indonesian version (Cervical CAM). METHOD This study was psychometric testing study consist of construct and content validities, and internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Validity testing with content validity. Construct validity known-group was tested on respondents with two backgrounds, medical (n=12) and non-medical (n=25). Two reliability tests used internal consistency (n=155), and test-retest reliability (n=30). Test-retest testing is done twice with time intervals between tests for 1 week. RESULTS The value of validity testing with content validity resulted in the range 0.1-1. The group with a medical background had a higher average total value compared to non-medical background [t(12)=28.29 vs t(25)=19.03, respectively]. The value of Cronbach's α=0.606 on reliability testing, meanwhile, the average value of ICC on test-retest reliability was 0.410. CONCLUSION Cervical CAM is declared valid and reliable to measure a person's awareness of cervical cancer. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to analyze factors that influence patient's perceptions of the behavior of nurse's carative-caring at a government hospital in Surabaya. METHOD This study used a cross-sectional design. Sample was 100 respondents recruited used purposive sampling. Data obtained by giving questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using Regression Logistic Linier test with degree of significance of p less then 0.05. RESULTS The patients' perception of carative-caring behavior was influenced by their level of education (p=0.019) and self-acceptance (p=0.029). Interestingly, this study revealed that there was no relationship between patients' perceptions of nurse caring carative-caring behavior and patients' experience of hospitalization (p=0.518) and there was no relationship between patients' perception and income (p=0.407). CONCLUSION Self-acceptance and patient education could affect patients' perceptions of nurse caring behavior. The higher the level of education and self-acceptance, the better patient's perception of carative-caring behavior of nurses. OBJECTIVE to understand the correlation between the preceptorship, communication guidance and the attitudes of students studying the nurse profession programme. METHOD A quantitative correlational study. A total of 131 students of Nurse Profession programme was recruited in one university in Jakarta from January to March 2018. Partial Least Square (PLS) identified the correlation among variables. RESULTS Communication analysis style obtained the highest mean value of 12.54, and the environmental indicator obtained the lowest mean value of 8.13. The attitude analysis results revealed the highest mean value of 45.54. Structural equality analysis indicated that preceptorship was related to the attitudes and communication of students of nurse profession programme while communication was related to the attitudes of students of nurse profession programme. CONCLUSIONS It expected that the implementation of preceptorship programme combined with communication guidance might improve nurse student attitude, especially empathy and caring in practice. The number of nurse respondents was 56 people who get coaching and mentoring and there are 100 different patients who rate nurses caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction; 50 patients gave an assessment before the intervention, and 50 patients post-intervention. The research instrument was questionnaires. Data analysis used the Paired t-test and Pearson Correlation Test. RESULTS Nurse caring behavior increased 9.98 points post-intervention and there was a significant relationship between nurses caring behavior with patient satisfaction (p=0.002). CONCLUSIONS coaching and mentoring increase the nurses caring behavior, and there is a significant positive relationship between nurses caring behavior and patient satisfaction.
