Numerous studies have pointed out that long intergenic noncoding RNA (lincRNA) plays a key role in skeletal muscle development. This study used published Yorkshire (LW) and Tibetan pig (TP) transcriptome data to explore the possible role of lincRNA in the difference in skeletal muscle development between the two breeds. 138 differentially expressed lincRNAs (DELs) were obtained between the two breeds, and their potential target genes (PTGs) were predicted. The results of GO and KEGG analysis revealed that PTGs are involved in multiple biological processes and pathways related to muscle development. The quantitative trait loci (QTLs) of DELs were predicted, and the results showed that most QTLs are related to muscle development. Finally, we constructed a co-expression network between muscle development related PTGs (MDRPTGs) and their corresponding DELs on the basis of their expression levels. The expression of DELs was significantly correlated with the corresponding MDRPTGs. Also, multiple MDRPTGs are involved in the key regulatory pathway of muscle fiber hypertrophy, which is the IGF-1-AKT-mTOR pathway. In summary, multiple lincRNAs that may cause differences in skeletal muscle development between the two breeds were identified, and their possible regulatory roles were explored. Here, we report that homozygous dronc mutant adult animals are short-lived due to the presence of a poorly developed, defective and leaky intestine. Interestingly, this mutant phenotype can be significantly rescued by enteroblast-specific expression of dronc+ in dronc mutant animals, suggesting that proper Dronc function specifically in enteroblasts, one of four cell types in the intestine, is critical for normal development of the intestine. Furthermore, enteroblast-specific knockdown of dronc in adult intestines triggers hyperplasia and differentiation defects. Five basic and one acidic charge variants were separated using semi-preparative cation exchange chromatography using linear pH gradient elution with purity > 85%. Based on the commercial biosimilar product's composition, two basic variants, one acidic and the main bevacizumab product, were chosen for further investigation. Intact mass analysis and tryptic peptide mapping established the basic variants' identity as those originating from an incomplete clipping of either one or both C-terminal lysine residues in the heavy chain of bevacizumab. Based on peptide mapping data, the acidic variant formation was attributed to deamidation of asparagine residue (N84), oxidation of M258, and preservation of C-terminal lysine residue, located on the heavy chain of bevacizumab. None of the observed charge heterogeneities in bevacizumab were due to differences in glycosylation among the variants. The basic (lysine) variants exhibited similar structural, functional, and stability profiles as the bevacizumab main product. But it was also noted that both the variants did not improve bevacizumab's therapeutic utility when pooled in different proportions with the main product. The acidic variant was found to have an equivalent secondary structure with subtle differences in the tertiary structure. The conformational difference also translated into a ~ 62% decrease in biological activity. We aimed to evaluate the outcomes of patients taking DOACs after polypectomy. We retrospectively reviewed 131 patients taking DOACs and 270 taking clopidogrel who underwent polypectomy between November 2010 and December 2017. The risk of delayed postpolypectomy bleeding (PPB) was evaluated and compared. A total of 989 polyps were removed (320 polyps in the DOAC and 669 polyps in the clopidogrel group). DOACs and clopidogrel were discontinued for 2.8 ± 1.7 days and 5.8 ± 2.5 days before polypectomy, respectively.
