Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and other items. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that lets you bring pistols in to a mission. Rain Bet utilize this slot to help reach certain achievements, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to fill in gaps. When using this slot, it's important to keep in mind that you'll need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, such as the slot 2 alternative for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it much easier to use. This combo can also trigger an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is slotted.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled items slot an excellent feature that lets players bring tools and weapons into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently shaped like pistols, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot can hold many different items, ranging from small concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are secretly stored in hidden locations around the map and are able to be found at any time. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that allows players to discover different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This gives players the ability to design the perfect mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly get full early in the game, leading to the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message will prevent Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They offer more inventory space to complete challenges. However, as many of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.





Pickups by agencies

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful in situations where your job requires you to go through a frisk or if you carry a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. However, you can only hide one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Then, go to the mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
