Using a smartphone app, this Man Down feature can be set to 3 minutes – 1 hour (timer is set by the worker). If there has been no movement within this time frame an alert will sound.

This Man Down system can be paired with our MOTOTRBO based radios and allows lone workers to receive help from other radio users in case of an incident. A notification is dispatched to the response groups mobile devices with the time & the radio ID or name of the person who had fallen.

Teldio’s MDN is a cost-effective and potentially lifesaving way of detecting if a worker has suffered a fall or had an accident. Utilizing the radio’s accelerometer to gauge the worker’s movements & vertical position, MDN monitors for a lack of movement, a tilt going beyond the application’s configured parameters, or a combination of both.
