The Design Thinking methodology for an initial consensus on the characteristics of the RMGA tool (Phase 1) has been combined with the Lean Startup methodology to create a new RMGA tool (Phase 2), and then tested in a group of patients (Phase 3).
In Phase 1, a consensus was reached that the perfect RMGA tool should allow for an ad hoc assessment of patients, be fast and flexible (<10 min), identify altered dimensions using trigger questions and facilitate the diagnosis of the condition (ideally quantified). In Phase 2, a prototype of a new RMGA tool containing 15 + 2 questions (VIG-Express) was developed, which was then tested in 35 patients in Phase 3.
Based on preliminary results, the VIG-Express tool seems to facilitate a simple, rapid multidimensional assessment and the customization of interventions, as well as provide a unique look and shared narrative between professionals from different care settings. More studies will be required to corroborate these findings.

More studies will be required to corroborate these findings.Differently substituted β-hydroxy- and β-amino dialkyl and alkyl-aryl tellurides and selenides have been prepared through ring-opening reactions of epoxides and aziridines with selenium- or tellurium-centered nucleophiles. The antioxidant properties and the cytotoxicity of such compounds have been investigated on normal human dermal fibroblasts. Most of the studied compounds exhibited a low cytotoxicity and a number of them proved to be non-toxic, not showing any effect on cell viability even at the highest concentration used (100 μM). The obtained results showed a significant antioxidant potential of the selected organotellurium compounds, particularly evident under conditions of exogenously induced oxidative stress. The antioxidant activity of selenium-containing analogues of active tellurides has also been evaluated on cells, highlighting that the replacement of Se with Te brought about a significant increase in the peroxidase activity.In the present study, a series of chalcones and their B-aryl analogues were prepared and evaluate as inhibitors of myeloperoxidase (MPO) chlorinating activity, using in vitro and ex vivo assays. Among these, B-thiophenyl chalcone (analogue 9) demonstrated inhibition of in vitro and ex vivo MPO chlorinating activity, exhibiting IC50 value of 0.53 and 19.2 µM, respectively. Even at its historical lower (ΣBTs ≤113 ng Sn g-1 dry wt), the current environmental levels of BTs in areas with a predominance of boatyards still pose a risk to the local biota and human population. DCOIT, among booster biocides, was the most frequently detected, especially in boatyards (≤40 ng g-1 dry wt) and Vitoria Port (64 ng g-1 dry wt), while APPs were also detected mainly in sediments of boatyards (≤5,969 μg g-1 dry wt). Since levels of diuron and DCOIT in APPs were as high as 1,670,000 and 899,000 ng g-1 dry wt, respectively, they are acting as secondary sources of these antifouling biocides. Therefore, VES is threatened by antifouling biocide residues due to the multiple diffuse sources of contamination, showing the need for more efforts on public policies (including temporal trend monitoring studies).
