albiflaviniger strain but was distinguished from the latter and from other members of the clade using combinations of phenotypic properties and average nucleotide identity and digital DNADNA hybridization scores. Consequently, it is proposed that isolate PRKS01-29T (= CCMM B1303T = ICEBB-02T = NCIMB 15210T) should be classified in the genus Streptomyces as Streptomyces sabulosicollis sp. nov. It is also clear that streptomycetes which produce spiral chains of rugose ornamented spores form a well-defined monophyletic clade in the Streptomyces phylogenomic tree., the taxonomic status of which requires further study. The genome of the type strain of S. sabulosicollis contains biosynthetic gene clusters predicted to produce new natural products.Breast cancer diagnosis can threaten fertility and biological motherhood in women of reproductive age due to the gonadotoxic effects of treatments. Much evidence documents these women fertility-related concerns and distress, but no study has attempted to understand how implicit cognitive processes can contribute to this maladjustment. In this research, we explored whether reproduction-related stimuli interfere with cognition among cancer survivors with infertility risk using an emotional Stroop task. Furthermore, we investigated the relationship between reproduction-related cognitive processing and psychological morbidity. Young cancer survivors aged 18-40 years who received anticancer treatments and an age-matched non-cancer control group without known fertility problems were compared. Color-naming times and error rates were assessed. Participants in both groups were slower naming the color of reproduction-related words in comparison to unrelated negative valence words. Although in the same direction, this difference did not reach statistical significance for positive and neutral unrelated word lists. Further analysis suggested that biased attention toward reproduction-related information was associated with higher depression levels in young women with personal breast cancer history, but not in healthy women. These findings suggest that biased processing of reproduction-related cues might be a vulnerability factor after a breast cancer diagnosis. Additionally, this study puts in evidence the potential usefulness of using experimental tasks to investigate attentional bias in a context where fertility is at risk.Although findings are mixed, discrimination has been identified as a risk factor for smoking in sexual minority women (SMW; e.g., lesbian and bisexual). We examined associations between past-year discrimination and cigarette smoking among SMW. Using regression analyses we examined associations of past-year discrimination including count of types of discriminatory experiences and attributions of the main reason for discrimination (i.e., sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, gender) with smoking outcomes (e.g., current smoking, nicotine dependence, smoking more cigarettes now than 12 months ago). We conducted exploratory analyses to examine whether race/ethnicity and sexual identity moderated the associations of past-year discrimination with smoking outcomes. The sample included 619 SMW. Most identified as lesbian (74.3%) and non-White (61.1%). SMW who reported a higher count of types of discriminatory experiences (AOR 1.54, 95% CI 1.12-2.12) and any gender-based discrimination in the past year (AOR 4.79, 95% CI 1.39-16.45) reported smoking more cigarettes now than 12 months ago. Associations of other past-year discrimination measures with other smoking outcomes were not significant. Compared to White SMW, any discrimination [B (SD) = 2.56 (0.83)] and a higher count of types of discriminatory experiences in the past year [B (SD) = 0.88 (0.31)] were associated with higher nicotine dependence scores in Black/African American SMW. Past-year discrimination are associated with smoking outcomes in SMW. Black/African American race moderated the associations of any past-year discrimination and a higher count of types of discriminatory experiences with nicotine dependence scores in SMW. Targeted interventions to mitigate the influence of discrimination on smoking among SMW are needed.Improper storage and disposal of prescribed opioids can lead to diversion or accidental poisonings. OSMI4 Studies of emergency department and cancer patients suggest prescription opioids are rarely stored securely or disposed of when unneeded. Safe storage and disposal practices reduce risks for others living in or visiting a household. The purpose of this study is thus to examine prescription opioid storage and participation in drug take-back events among Michigan adults. Participants (N = 702) were recruited through social media advertisements to complete an online survey in July and August 2018. Logistic regression was used to examine correlates of safe storage and disposal. 8.4% (n = 59) of participants reported always keeping opioids locked; 29.8% (n = 209) reported attending a drug take-back event. Black participants and those who believed that illegal drug use was a serious problem had greater odds of locking opioids; participants with higher levels of education or who knew someone who used heroin or misused prescription opioids had lesser odds of locking opioids. Age and race were associated with take-back event participation. Findings identify factors associated with safe prescription opioid storage/disposal and indicate safe storage/disposal seldom occurs. Education and provision of safe storage equipment should be designed for diverse ages, races/ethnicities, and levels of education. Drug take-back events not hosted by law enforcement may have broader appeal, as may those led by Black or other people of color. Wider use of drug donation boxes may facilitate increased disposal among those who do not wish to or cannot attend take-back events.

Seat-belt use is effective in preventing traffic fatalities and injuries yet its use is not universal. This study sought to determine the predictors of self-reported seat-belt use among bus passengers in Ghana based on the theory of planned behaviour and health belief model.

A quantitative cross-sectional study design with 633 randomly selected intercity bus passengers was conducted using a structured questionnaire in Kumasi, Ghana. The resulting data were analysed using SPSS version 23.0. Ordinal regression was employed to determine the predictors of self-reported seat-belt use.

Majority of the respondents were male (61.5%) with a mean age of 32.2 (SD = 11.6). A third (33.0%) reported that they always wear their seat-belt as bus passengers. The results indicated that intention (OR = 1.49, 95% CI = 1.21-1.84, p = 0.001), subjective norm (OR = 1.57, 95% CI = 1.15-2.13, p = 0.004) and perceived behavioural control (OR = 1.53; 95% CI = 1.21-1.92, p = 0.001) variables from the theory of planned behaviour were significant independent predictors of seat-belt use.
