quency, duration, and spatial extent with global climate change, more studies are needed to improve our understanding of lake heat waves and their potential effects on the species, communities, frequency of phytoplankton bloom, and also help providing advanced schemes of water quality management.Technology prediction is an important technique to help new energy vehicle (NEV) firms keep market advantage and sustainable development. Under fierce competition in the new energy industry, there is an urgent necessity for innovative technology prediction method to effectively identify core and frontier technologies for NEV firms. Among the various methods of technology prediction, one of the most frequently used methods is to make technology prediction from patent data. This paper synthesizes the frequent pattern growth (FP-growth) algorithm and input-output analysis to construct a new technology prediction method based on the knowledge flow perspective, takes the data of NEV patent family in 1989-2018 the Derwent patent database as a sample, divides the data according to the 5-year standard, and uses the method to identify the core and frontier technologies in the NEV field during different periods. Furthermore, the multiple co-occurrence method applies to analyze the technology layout and evolution patterns in China's NEV field. The results show that the technology prediction method proposed in this paper can effectively identify core and frontier technologies to achieve NEV technology prediction. The effects of salinity (10 and 50% seawater) and oil in combination on three mangroves, Avicennia marina, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, and Rhizophora mucronata, were investigated. In all species, plant height, number of leaves, and CO2 exchange were generally higher in 10% than in 50% seawater. Salinity and oil decreased plant height, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, and CO2 exchange, with reductions being greater at the higher salinity. In a second experiment, the effects of salinity (0, 10, and 50% seawater) and oil on concentrations of ions, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), leaf ultrastructure, and salt secretion in A. marina were investigated. Salinity and oil in combination increased concentrations of Na+ but decreased those of K+, Ca2+, and Mg2+. PAHs caused damage to cell membranes, disrupted ion concentrations, and reduced salt secretion. This study demonstrated that increase in salinity reduces growth of mangroves and that salinity and oiling in combination exacerbate growth reduction. In A. marina, oil was absorbed and translocated to the leaves where it disrupted membranes, ion accumulation, and salt secretion.Trace metal concentrations were monitored in the yellow clam (Paphia malabarica), green mussel (Perna viridis) and edible oyster (Crassostrea madrasensis) from growing areas in the Ashtamudi and Vembanad estuaries, Kerala. Samples of shellfish (clams n=26, mussels n=18, oysters n=36) and environmental parameters (salinity, temperature, pH and rainfall) were measured in these growing areas from July 2012 to December 2014. Ranges of mean annual concentrations (mg/kg) were Ni (0.46-0.65); Co (2.87-3.49); Fe (80.0-119.4); Mn (3.88-9.38); Zn (40.8-76.2); Pb (1.28-2.00); and Cu (1.59-4.38). In Ashtamudi, clams had higher mean concentrations of Ni, Co, Fe, Mn and Pb than oysters. Mean concentrations of Ni, Pb (in all species), Zn (in clams and mussels) and Cu (in mussels) did not exceed maximum permissible limits mandated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Mean Mn concentrations exceeded the World Health Organization guideline (1 mg/kg) in the three species while mean Fe concentrations in clams and oysters did not exceed the guideline (100 mg/kg). Target hazard quotients were generally ≤ 1, except for a few Pb results in clams and mussels. Although results suggest no health risk to consumers for the reference doses, daily intakes and elements considered, regular monitoring of trace metals is recommended to maintain consumer protection given increasing anthropogenic and climatic pressures on the shellfish growing areas. The formation of sea-land breeze (SLB) is primarily affected by background wind and temperature difference between the sea and nearby land. Because the intensity of sea breeze is significantly stronger than that of land breeze, land breeze may result in more accumulated pollutants under the condition of offshore background wind (OBW) than under the condition of no OBW in coastal areas. The formation process of sea-land breeze and the dispersion trajectory and accumulation effect of pollutants are studied under different velocities of OBW with the same sea-land temperature difference by employing computational fluid dynamics (CFD). STAT5-IN-1 The results reveal that the depth and the duration of sea breeze decrease with the increase of the velocity of OBW. The most unfavorable velocity of OBW (0.2 m s-1) exists when the concentration affected by OBW is higher than that by no OBW in coastal areas. The pollutants close to the ground will be blown to the inland by sea breeze when the velocity of OBW is less than 1.0 m s-1. When the velocity of OBW is larger than 2.0 m s-1, the pollutants will not occur on the inland due to the influence of OBW.This paper aims to investigate the effect of the settling behaviour of sediment particles during resuspension on the mobilisation of pollutants such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Sediments were collected in different areas (basin, channel, beach) of a Mediterranean harbour, located in the south of France (the Grau du Roi harbour), and then separated into different size fractions large (80-1000 μm), intermediate (40-80 μm), and fine ( less then 40 μm). Total PAHs concentrations in the initial sediment ranged from 320 to 1043 μg kg-1. Study of the settling behaviour of the PAH-contaminated sediment revealed two sedimentation regimes sedimentation by mass, which exhibits a sharp interface between the supernatant and the deposit, and sedimentation by clarification with no interface. It appears that sediment particles settle either by the clarification regime or by a combination of the two sedimentation regimes, depending on the size fraction. Particle size distribution monitoring during the settling process allowed the identification of sediment particles less than 20 μm which remain in the water column up to 20 min after resuspension and appear to be the ones that can potentially mobilise PAHs.
