World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrade of your items is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.

They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They are available through the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

If a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional effects or attributes as well as distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. They generally require that the item has an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be replaced with another but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon's level.

When the weapon reaches its maximum level of improvement and is then reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can be applied at once and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage a weapon deals.

Generally, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before any other gear, as this helps maximise DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases the armor can be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. Most armor types can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to the item's defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.

In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, a few upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be extremely beneficial in combat. For example, they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful for example, reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple tries. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77, and the list goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors have very significant enhancements to poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them invaluable for certain builds. There are additional resources to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

When you put a potion into the stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.

The potions also gain a custom color, which can be selected by the player using the /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a different the texture of brewing. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place to report issues relating to this patch.

Trinket

A trinket is an inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag used to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It could also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At the moment the trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent, and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are produced to help solve the dangers in rooms.

This item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply decreasing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket that is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge a Trinket multiple times as often as you wish, however it will always have an effect that is different from the one you had when you forged it.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by just a little.
