Traditional mathematical search models retrieve scientific documents only by mathematical expressions and their contexts and do not consider the ontological attributes of scientific documents, which result in gaps between the queries and the retrieval results. To solve this problem, a retrieval and ranking model is constructed that synthesizes the information of mathematical expressions with related texts, and the ontology attributes of scientific documents are extracted to further sort the retrieval results. First, the hesitant fuzzy set of mathematical expressions is constructed by using the characteristics of the hesitant fuzzy set to address the multi-attribute problem of mathematical expression matching; then, the similarity of the mathematical expression context sentence is calculated by using the BiLSTM two-way coding feature, and the retrieval result is obtained by synthesizing the similarity between the mathematical expression and the sentence; finally, considering the ontological attributes of scientific documents, the retrieval results are ranked to obtain the final search results. The MAP_10 value of the mathematical expression retrieval results on the Ntcir-Mathir-Wikipedia-Corpus dataset is 0.815, and the average value of the NDCG@10 of the scientific document ranking results is 0.9; these results prove the effectiveness of the scientific document retrieval and ranking method. In this paper, a generalized information-theoretic framework for the emergence of multi-resolution hierarchical tree abstractions is developed. By leveraging ideas from information-theoretic signal encoding with side information, this paper develops a tree search problem which considers the generation of multi-resolution tree abstractions when there are multiple sources of relevant and irrelevant, or possibly confidential, information. check details We rigorously formulate an information-theoretic driven tree abstraction problem and discuss its connections with information-theoretic privacy and resource-limited systems. The problem structure is investigated and a novel algorithm, called G-tree search, is proposed. The proposed algorithm is analyzed and a number of theoretical results are established, including the optimally of the G-tree search algorithm. To demonstrate the utility of the proposed framework, we apply our method to a real-world example and provide a discussion of the results from the viewpoint of designing hierarchical abstractions for autonomous systems. The correlation-based network is a powerful tool to reveal the influential mechanisms and relations in stock markets. However, current methods for developing network models are dominantly based on the pairwise relationship of positive correlations. This work proposes a new approach for developing stock relationship networks by using the linear relationship model with LASSO to explore negative correlations under a systemic framework. The developed model not only preserves positive links with statistical significance but also includes link directions and negative correlations. We also introduce blends cliques with the balance theory to investigate the consistency properties of the developed networks. The ASX 200 stock data with 194 stocks are applied to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method. Results suggest that the developed networks not only are highly consistent with the correlation coefficient in terms of positive or negative correlations but also provide influence directions in stock markets. As the most popular anonymous communication system, Tor provides anonymous protection for users by sending their messages through a series of relays. Due to the use of the bandwidth-weighted path selection algorithm, many more users choose routers with high bandwidth as relays. This will cause the utilization of high bandwidth routers to be much higher than that of low bandwidth routers, which will bring congestion risk. The Quality of Service (QoS) is difficult to guarantee for users who need delay-sensitive services such as web browsing and instant messaging. To reduce the average load of routers and improve the network throughput, we propose a circuit construction method with multiple parallel middle relays and conduct a dynamic load allocation method. The experiment demonstrates that our proposed method can provide better load balancing. Compared with other multipath anonymous communication networks, our proposed method can provide better anonymity. The nonlinear Schrödinger equation is an important model equation in the study of quantum states of physical systems. To improve the computing efficiency, a fast algorithm based on the time two-mesh high-order compact difference scheme for solving the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is studied. The fourth-order compact difference scheme is used to approximate the spatial derivatives and the time two-mesh method is designed for efficiently solving the resulting nonlinear system. Comparing to the existing time two-mesh algorithm, the novelty of the new algorithm is that the fine mesh solution, which becomes available, is also used as the initial guess of the linear system, which can improve the calculation accuracy of fine mesh solutions. Compared to the two-grid finite element methods (or finite difference methods) for nonlinear Schrödinger equations, the numerical calculation of this method is relatively simple, and its two-mesh algorithm is implemented in the temporal direction. Taking advantage of the discrete energy, the result with O(τC4+τF2+h4) in the discrete L2-norm is obtained. Here, τC and τF are the temporal parameters on the coarse and fine mesh, respectively, and h is the space step size. Finally, some numerical experiments are conducted to demonstrate its efficiency and accuracy. The numerical results show that the new algorithm gives highly accurate results and preserves conservation laws of charge and energy. Furthermore, by comparing with the standard nonlinear implicit compact difference scheme, it can reduce the CPU time without loss of accuracy. We introduce a new incompatibility criterion for quantum channels based on the notion of (quantum) Fisher information. Our construction is based on a similar criterion for quantum measurements put forward by H. Zhu. We then study the power of the incompatibility criterion in different scenarios. First, we prove the first analytical conditions for the incompatibility of two Schur channels. Then, we study the incompatibility structure of a tuple of depolarizing channels, comparing the newly introduced criterion with the known results from asymmetric quantum cloning. We review some results in the theory of non-relativistic quantum unstable systems. We account for the most important definitions of quantum resonances that we identify with unstable quantum systems. Then, we recall the properties and construction of Gamow states as vectors in some extensions of Hilbert spaces, called Rigged Hilbert Spaces. Gamow states account for the purely exponential decaying part of a resonance; the experimental exponential decay for long periods of time physically characterizes a resonance. We briefly discuss one of the most usual models for resonances the Friedrichs model. Using an algebraic formalism for states and observables, we show that Gamow states cannot be pure states or mixtures from a standard view point. We discuss some additional properties of Gamow states, such as the possibility of obtaining mean values of certain observables on Gamow states. A modification of the time evolution law for the linear space spanned by Gamow shows that some non-commuting observables on this space become commuting for large values of time. We apply Gamow states for a possible explanation of the Loschmidt echo. With the advancement of technology worldwide, security is essential for online information and data. This research work proposes a novel image encryption method based on combined chaotic maps, Halton sequence, five-dimension (5D) Hyper-Chaotic System and Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) encoding. Halton sequence is a known low-discrepancy sequence having uniform distribution in space for application in numerical methods. In the proposed work, we derived a new chaotic map (HaLT map) by combining chaotic maps and Halton sequence to scramble images for cryptography applications. First level scrambling was done by using the HaLT map along with a modified quantization unit. In addition, the scrambled image underwent inter- and intra-bit scrambling for enhanced security. Hash values of the original and scrambled image were used for initial conditions to generate a 5D hyper-chaotic map. Since a 5D chaotic map has complex dynamic behavior, it could be used to generate random sequences for image diffusion. Further, DNA level permutation and pixel diffusion was applied. Seven DNA operators, i.e., ADD, SUB, MUL, XOR, XNOR, Right-Shift and Left-Shift, were used for pixel diffusion. The simulation results showed that the proposed image encryption method was fast and provided better encryption compared to 'state of the art' techniques. Furthermore, it resisted various attacks.Properties of the Voronoi tessellations arising from random 2D distribution points are reported. We applied an iterative procedure to the Voronoi diagrams generated by a set of points randomly placed on the plane. The procedure implied dividing the edges of Voronoi cells into equal or random parts. The dividing points were then used to construct the following Voronoi diagram. Repeating this procedure led to a surprising effect of the positional ordering of Voronoi cells, reminiscent of the formation of lamellae and spherulites in linear semi-crystalline polymers and metallic glasses. Thus, we can conclude that by applying even a simple set of rules to a random set of seeds, we can introduce order into an initially disordered system. At the same time, the Shannon (Voronoi) entropy showed a tendency to attain values that are typical for completely random patterns; thus, the Shannon (Voronoi) entropy does not distinguish the short-range ordering. The Shannon entropy and the continuous measure of symmetry of the patterns demonstrated the distinct asymptotic behavior, while approaching the close saturation values with the increase in the number of iteration steps. The Shannon entropy grew with the number of iterations, whereas the continuous measure of symmetry of the same patterns demonstrated the opposite asymptotic behavior. The Shannon (Voronoi) entropy is not an unambiguous measure of order in the 2D patterns. The more symmetrical patterns may demonstrate the higher values of the Shannon entropy.Peer-to-peer lending (P2P lending) has proliferated in recent years thanks to Fintech and big data advancements. However, P2P lending platforms are not tightly governed by relevant laws yet, as their development speed has far exceeded that of regulations. Therefore, P2P lending operations are still subject to risks. This paper proposes prediction models to mitigate the risks of default and asymmetric information on P2P lending platforms. Specifically, we designed sophisticated procedures to pre-process mass data extracted from Lending Club in 2018 Q3-2019 Q2. After that, three statistical models, namely, Logistic Regression, Bayesian Classifier, and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), and five AI models, namely, Decision Tree, Random Forest, LightGBM, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), were utilized for data analysis. The loan statuses of Lending Club's customers were rationally classified. To evaluate the models, we adopted the confusion matrix series of metrics, AUC-ROC curve, Kolmogorov-Smirnov chart (KS), and Student's t-test.
