Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) is a frequently used modality for the treatment of early stage non-small cell lung cancer and oligometastatic disease of the lung. The radiological changes observed in the lung after SBRT are likely to differ from those observed after conventional thoracic radiation therapy, primarily due to the small size of the target volume and highly conformal dose distributions with steep dose gradients from the target to surrounding normal lung tissues used in SBRT. Knowledge of the radiological changes that can occur after SBRT is required to correctly diagnose local failure. Herein, I report several radiological changes specific to SBRT that have been observed.In 1996, kiss was reported to regulate feeding in mammals, but studies are limited in fish. Our study aimed to explore the possible role of kiss in the regulation of feeding in Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii). kiss1 and kiss2 were cloned, and the expression patterns were analyzed in Siberian sturgeon. The complete coding regions of kiss1 and kiss2 genes were 393 and 471 bp. Both kiss1 and kiss2 showed the highest expression level in the hypothalamus. During the periprandial and fasting experiments, the expression of kiss1 and kiss2 highly significantly increased in the hypothalamus after feeding (P  0.05) but highly significantly increased on day 14 (P  less then  0.01). Subsequently, the feeding function was verified by intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of Kp1(10) and Kp1(10) into fish. The results showed that i.p. injection of 1 µg/g BW Kp1(10) or 0.01 µg/g BW Kp2(10) could significantly reduce 0-1 h food intake (P  less then  0.05) and affected the expression levels of apelin, ghrelin, leptin, nmu, etc. in the hypothalamus. These results suggested that kiss1 plays an anorexic role in both short- and long-term feeding regulation, while kiss2 plays a short-term anorexic and long-term orexigenic role. This study described kiss as a novel regulator of appetite in fish and laid the groundwork for further studies focused on physiological function. We examined associations between lifetime physical activity and physical activity at different ages (15-18years, 19-29years, 30-39years, last 10years) with the risk of glioma diagnosis, using data from a hospital-based family case-control study (495 cases; 371 controls). We followed up cases over a median of 25months to examine whether physical activity was associated with all-cause mortality. Physical activity and potential confounders were assessed by self-administered questionnaire. We examined associations between physical activity (metabolic equivalent [MET]-h/wk) and glioma risk using unconditional logistic regression and with all-cause mortality in cases using Cox regression.

We noted a reduced risk of glioma for the highest (≥ 47 MET-h/wk) versus lowest (< 24 METh/wk) category of physical activity for lifetime activity (OR = 0.58, 95% CI 0.38-0.89) and at 15-18years (OR = 0.57, 95% CI 0.39-0.83). We did not observe any association between physical activity and all-cause mortality (HR for lifetime physical activity = 0.91, 95% CI 0.64-1.29).

In the support of theoretical argument, this study provides empirical evidence by investigating the impact of ECI on EFP along with the role of disaggregated energy consumptions by using a panel dataset of G-7 economies between 1996 and 2019. To this end, we applied panel techniques of Fully-Modify OLS and Dynamic-OLS models for cointegration analysis. The results obtained from Fully-Modify OLS and Dynamic-OLS models reveal that ECI deteriorates environmental quality by increasing EFP, while renewable energy reduces ecological pollution by decreasing EFP. In addition, the increasing demand for non-renewable energy and economic growth both degrades environmental quality in G-7 countries. More interestingly, the non-linear (ECI2) relationship between ECI and EFP confirms a U-shaped association (EKC hypothesis), which suggests that after achieving a certain threshold level, economic complexity mitigates environmental degradation in G-7 economies. The empirical results also suggest that other control variables such as population growth, inflation rate, foreign direct investment, and total trade intensity lead to environmental degradation by increasing ecological footprint. Based on empirical results, the following important policy implications are drawn; first, G-7 economies should speed up the level of economic complexity along with renewable energy consumption to protect environmental quality and maintain sustainable growth and development. Secondly, the governments of G-7 countries should introduce greener technologies and promote production that are environmental friendly for drastic reduction in environmental unsustainability.The textile industry is ambitiously parading towards circularity and curtailing its dependency on fossil fuels hence the instigated research that adheres to Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) and benefits the environment and human health alike. The current research experimented with innovative sources of plant-based biomaterials namely dandelion leaves, bilberry leaves, nettle leaves, and violet herb for application on cotton fabric as biomordants and colourants. The AAS analysis of mild 6% herbal solution revealed ferrous content of 6.78 mg/l in violet herb and 5.03 mg/l of the copper content in dandelion leaves applicable on cotton fabrics as biomordants thereby preventing the depletion of copper and ferrous elements mineral ores. A fair lightfastness rating and good to very good wash and rub fastness test results were obtained individually. The maximum K/S value of 13.95 was gained on cotton fabrics treated with a mild herbal infusion of bilberry leaves and coloured with violet herbs. The ATR-FTIR peak analysis noted strong = C-H bend of alkenes, strong C = O stretch of α and β unsaturated esters, and strong C-O stretch of carboxylic acids functional groups in raw herbs and its treated cotton fabrics. The dissolved oxygen (DO), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and potential of Hydrogen (pH) values were found in the acceptable range for all the spent solutions left after colouration of cotton fabrics with violet herbs hence sustainable. The data set obtained was statistically validated with ANOVA one-way test. Life cycle analysis and clinical investigation on potential therapeutic benefits of herbal fabrics to the wearer are suggested for future research and development.The increasing use of information and communication technology (ICT) in this digital era and its interlinkage with other economic and environmental factors have gotten considerable attention from researchers. ICT tools are considered very important in economic activities such as international trade, the financial sector, and foreign direct investment. ICT is also interlinked with innovation and energy consumption. However, ICT with these activities influences ecological footprint, especially in emerging economies such as BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) countries. Therefore, this topic has got considerable attention from researchers and policy makers on the impact of ICT and economic growth activities on environmental quality. Consequently, this study investigates the impact of information and communication technology, renewable energy consumption and innovation on carbon dioxide emission in BRICS countries from 1990 to 2019 using cointegration, generalized least square, and panel corrected standard errors models. The findings show that two ICT indicators, mobile cellular subscription and fixed broadband subscription, negatively affect carbon emission along with economic growth and financial development. Innovation and renewable energy consumption also significantly reduce emission in presence of ICT indicators, while trade openness and fixed telephone subscriptions increase it. In the case of the ICT index model, all variables are positively associated with carbon emission except renewable energy consumption, however, the square and interaction term of all indicators significantly reduce carbon emission and evidence the environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis except trade openness. ICT growth should be considered in the energy sector, innovation, and financial development to enhance environmental quality. The findings of the study have considerable policy implications for the sample countries.
