Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When item upgrader reaches its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, similar webpage will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
