032) of the cases. HIF-1a protein expression was correlated with HIF-2a (P < 0.001), FIH (P = 0.004), PHD1 (P < 0.001), PHD2 (P < 0.001) and PHD3 (P = 0.035). HIF-2a expression was positively correlated with Gleason score (P = 0.017) and International Society of Urological Pathologists (ISUP) grade group (P = 0.022).
The findings of the present study suggest a key role for HIF-2a in prostate cancer, as HIF-2a expression was found to be correlated with Gleason score and ISUP grade of the patients. However, further studies are required to validate these results and investigate the potential value of HIF-2a as a therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

This study investigated the relationships of tumor status (stage, renal involvement, bone marrow status, bulky disease, liver function), tumor gene polymorphism, and methotrexate (MTX) dosage (stratified by treatment group) with blood MTX levels and adverse reactions (ADR).
We retrospectively reviewed 63 mature B cell lymphoma patients who were treated in our center. Genotyping of the MTHFR 677 and SLCO1B1 genes was carried out, and the relationships between tumor status, polymorphism of the genes, MTX level, and ADR were analyzed.
Altogether, 63 children were included. The mean blood MTX concentration was 0.25 ± 0.2 umol/L at 45 h. Liver dysfunction and bulky disease were both correlated with MTX level (both P < 0.05). ADRs were higher among patients with blood MTX > 0.5 mmol/l at 45 h than for the groups with lower blood MTX. The MTHFR 677 CT genotype was correlated with liver function damage (P = 0.04); the rs11045879 locus CC genotype of SLCO1B1, stage IV, and bulky disease at the time of diagnosis were correlated with 4° neutropenia (P < 0.05). Daidzein Stage IV, bulky disease, leukemia stage at the time of diagnosis, and C2 treatment group were correlated with severe anemia (P < 0.05). Stage IV, bulky disease, leukemia stage, renal invasion at the time of diagnosis, and C2 treatment group were associated with severe thrombocytopenia (P < 0.05). Bulky disease and renal invasion at the time of diagnosis were associated with severe mucositis and severe infection (P < 0.05).
Taken together, our data demonstrate that gene polymorphism, MTX levels, tumor status, and treatment group might be useful to optimize MTX therapy and estimate toxicity.

This review has focused on the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 in human excreta, wastewater, sewage sludge, and river waters. It explored the potential use of the wastewater-based epidemiology approach to report on the situation of current and eventual future SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks. The main concern of the occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 in the environment is the public health risks at sites of sewage products disposal and reuse, especially in low-income countries with inadequate sanitation, where direct discharge and reuse of raw sewage are common practices. The review also addressed the role sewage-irrigated agriculture can have in SARS-CoV-2 spread in the environmental compartments reached through sewage products application. An overview was made on the interest of sewage management, water safety, and hygienic practices for controlling the environmental dissemination of SARS-CoV-2.
The aim of our study was to evaluate the role of flavonoids in the improvement of post-operative symptoms after endovenous thermal ablation (EVTA).
A prospective comparative study of 120 consecutive patients undergoing EVTA of the greater saphenous vein associated with phlebectomies was undertaken. Patients were grouped in those receiving micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF- 60 patients) agent 500 mg Bid 7 days pre- and 30 days post- operatively (MPFF group) and those in the control group (60 patients) who did not. Demographics, intra-operative details, Clinical -Etiology- Anatomy- Pathophysiology (CEAP) clinical class, 10-cm Visual Analog Scale (VAS) for pain, Venous Clinical Severity Score (VCSS) and Chronic Venous Insufficiency Quality-of-Life Questionnaire (CΙVIQ-20) were recorded. Primary outcome was the postoperative pain assessement using the VAS scale and CIVIQ pain score. Secondary outcomes included assessement of VCSS and CΙVIQ-20 scores.
There were no significant differences between the groups regarding demographics, clinical and procedural characteristics. Patients in MPFF group reported significantly lower VAS pain levels than control group at 7- (-3.6 ± 1.2 vs -2.7 ± 1.9, p < .0001) and 30- post-operative day (-4.9 ± 0.1 vs -4.2 ± 1, p < .0001). MPFF group also showed better outcome in terms of CIVIQ pain score at 7- (-3.7 ± 1.3 vs -3.5 ± 1.8, p = .008) and 30- post-operative day (-5.3. ± 1.1 vs -4.4 ± 1, p = .017). Both groups showed a significant improvement in VAS pain score (p = .047), global CIVIQ-20 (p = .009) and VCSS (p = .008) at 7- and 30-days post-operatively.
Administration of flavonoids in patients undergoing EVTA associated with phlebectomies reduces pain by a small amount during early postoperative period.

Dysregulation of long noncoding RNA is associated with a variety of cancers and LncRNA has anticancer or carcinogenic activities. PVT1, as a long noncoding RNA, plays an important role in the development of cancer.
We use R to download and analyze the data in TCGA database. ROC curve is generated to evaluate the significance of PVT1 expression for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Chi-square test is used to test correlation between PVT1 expression and clinical pathological features. Survival curve and univariate and multivariate cox regression analysis is performed to compare differences in the effect on the survival rate between PVT1 high expression and low expression.
The expression of PTV1 in tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues(P<2.2e-16). The difference of PTV1 expression was observed according to vital status (P = 0.0051) and Gleason score (P = 0.0012). The expression of PTV1 is significantly associated with T classification (P < 0.0001), N classification (P = 0.
