COVID-19 has affected the global economy like no other crisis in the history of mankind. It forced worldwide lockdown and economic shutdown to the point from where the recovery process has been very difficult. It has affected demand, supply, production and consumption in such a way that the entire economic development cycle has gone to its lowest levels. COVID-19 has also affected the social and economic sustainability structure which has led from one crisis to another and the developing countries have been the worst hit. Economic crisis resulted in unemployment leading to labour migrations, inevitable casualties and rising poverty etc. However, at a certain level, a few industries and organizations have shown resilience with better anticipation and survivability which may lead them to a quicker recovery. The current study aims at presenting a holistic view of organizational resilience which leads to the overall sustainable development. The study considers three aspects of organizational resilience as crisis anticipation, organizational robustness and recoverability. It assesses the impact of the aspects of resilience on social sustainability and economic sustainability. The study uses empirical analysis of primary data which is analysed to verify the hypothesized relationships by using a structural equation modelling approach. The study finds out that predicting the crisis and disruptions, building robustness and recoverability have a positive effect on both the social and economic aspects of sustainability. Findings of the study have their practical implications for industry, researchers and society.Antiviral drugs are a class of compounds developed specifically for the treatment of viral infections. In the development and subsequent application of antiviral drugs, like for any other class of drugs, quantitative analysis in biological matrix is important, e.g., to establish bioavailability, to study pharmacokinetics, and later on possibly for therapeutic drug monitoring. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) with tandem mass spectrometry (MS-MS) operated in selected-reaction monitoring (SRM) mode is the method of choice in quantitative bioanalysis. As information of the fragmentation of antiviral drugs in MS-MS is very much scattered in the scientific literature, it was decided to collect this information and to review it, not only to understand which product ions are actually used in SRM, but also to assist in other studies, e.g., in the identification of drug metabolites or (forced) degradation products. In addition, hash function can hide secret medical COVID-19 data in hospital databases whilst providing confidentiality with hscue framework within hospitals for the storage and transfusion of the best convalescent plasma to the most critical patients with COVID-19 on the basis of biological requirements. Kaposi sarcoma is a rare vascular mesenchymal neoplasm, associated with Human Herpes Virus 8 (HHV8). Gout is a condition clinically characterized by recurrent flares of arthritis and hyperuricemia. Following our clinical impression that patients with classical Kaposi sarcoma (CKS) have a high rate of gout, we explored this in a retrospective manner.

All consecutive patients diagnosed with sarcoma or carcinosarcoma within a single tertiary center between 1/2012-12/2017 were identified through the pathology department database. A cohort of CKS patients was compared with the non-Kaposi sarcoma and carcinosarcoma cohort. Data were extracted from patients' electronic medical records. Patients younger than 18 and patients without clinical data available were excluded. Association between diagnosis of gout and CKS was assessed and adjusted for risk factors.

Three hundred and sixty-one patients were eligible for this analysis, 61 were diagnosed with CKS and 300 with other types of sarcoma. We found a higher incidence of gout in CKS patients, 11/61 (18%) patients, compared with 8/300 (2.6%) with other types of sarcoma, odds ratio (OR) 8.0 (

< 0.00001). This association persisted when adjusted for age >39 years (OR = 6.7,

< 0.00001), age and male sex (OR = 4.97,

< 0.0001), and when adjusting for multiple confounding factors and medical comorbidities.

We have demonstrated a statistically significant association between gout and CKS. As risk factors for gout were accounted for, this association may be explained by HHV8 immune-related effects. This should be further explored in vitro and in population-based studies.

A total of 668 one-day-old female Gushi chicks were randomly allocated into three different cages, namely, large, medium, and small cages, referred to as Group A, Group B, and Group C, respectively, and fed LME-LCP diets. A fourth group of birds raised in small cages and fed a standard diet (STD) was designated Group D i.e. the control. Equal stocking densities were maintained among the four groups throughout the experiment, from 50-20 birds/m2. Large cages with LME-LCP diet (Group A) increased the shank length and girth as chicks grew, improved the activities of serum creatine kinase, and reduced serum triglyceride and cholesterol concentrations. The total feed intake in birds from Group A was higher than those from the other groups at every stage. The total cost (rmb/bird) of feed was 6.70% lower in Group A than that in Group D, which indicated the cost-effectiveness of large cages. To clarify the function of EYA3 in quail photoperiodism, in the present study, we performed mRNA structure analysis of the Japanese quail EYA3 mRNA using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Southern blot analysis. The results revealed that there are four types of splice variants within regions of exons 7, 8, and 9 of quail EYA3 mRNA. Among the four splice variants of quail EYA3, the splice variant containing exon 7 was expressed in the pars tuberalis on the first long day, when quails were transferred from the short-day condition to the long-day condition.
