Nevertheless, training ER might be a way to improve the quality of the therapeutic relationship and potentially the effectiveness of CBT or other interventions for patients with psychosis.BACKGROUND The concept of physical literacy (PL) is gaining popularity within public health and physical education circles. However, little is known about the relationship between perceived and actual PL levels among school-aged children. The aim of this study is to explore the associations between perceived and actual levels of PL of primary school students in China. METHODS A total of 327 children (153 boys and 174 girls) with a mean (SD) age of 10.0 (±1.0) years were included for analysis. PL perceptions were measured using the Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument. Children's actual level of PL was objectively assessed by the Chinese version of the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy, 2nd edition, which consists of four domains Daily Behavior, Physical Competence, Motivation and Confidence, and Knowledge and Understanding. Pearson's correlation coefficients were calculated to examine the relationship between students' perceived and actual PL levels, whereas Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA)e of children's perceptions of PL when assessing the actual level of PL in physical education and health settings. Girls should be more encouraged by PE teachers to participate actively in physical activities in the school environment.BACKGROUND Intramyometrial pregnancy is a rare subtype of ectopic pregnancy. The cases following IVF-ET were few reported in recent years. The etiological factors include previous uterine trauma like myomectomy, salpingectomy, dilatation and curettage, assisted reproductive technologies and adenomyosis. Early diagnosis is difficult to make due to its various manifestation. The medical treatment includes conservative management with surgical excision, aortic balloon occlusion, uterine artery embolization, MTX etc. Sometimes hysterectomy was performed due to delayed diagnosis. see more CASE PRESENTATION In this article, we presented a case of a 28 years old woman who had cryopreserved embryo transfer with a history of right side salpingectomy. We suspected it a right adnexa ectopic pregnancy at the first place, especially the right fallopian interstitial or right uterus cornu due to ultrasonography and medical history. The product of conception was discovered embedded in the myometrium and protruding out from the right side of the posterior uterine wall, with seemingly no connection with uterine cavity nor fallopian tubes. The diagnosis of intramural pregnancy was made intraoperatively and validated after pathological report. The interventions were made early enough that exploratory laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and conservative surgical excision were successfully performed at 7 weeks' gestation preserving the fertility. CONCLUSIONS It is important for clinicians to be aware of risk factors of intramural pregnancy and maintain an index of suspicion in ART treatment. Ultrasound and laparoscopy are essential managements for early diagnose which make conservative treatment possible and prevent life-threatening consequences.BACKGROUND The mid-long term outcomes of posterior spinal fusion in pediatric neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1) patients are rarely reported, so does the effectiveness of itsorthopeidc maintenance function. This study aims to evaluate the mid-long term surgical outcomes of posterior only instrumented spinal fusion for early-onset scoliosis (EOS) in NF-1 patients. METHODS A retrospective review was performed on a cohort of 10 NF-1 patients having EOS from 2008 to 2014 in our hospital, the age averaged at 7.8 years old when they underwent posterior only instrumented spinal fusion for their EOS. Both general clinical data and surgical specific data of the patients were collected and reviewed, and the dystrophic progression of EOS was evaluated during the follow-up. RESULTS The average duration of follow-up was 54 months (24 to 88 months). All patients underwent posterior only instrumented spinal fusion at 1 stage. The primary curves of EOS were thoracic in 9 cases and 1 patient had lumbar scoliosis. Preoperative major curve was significantly corrected (from 66.1 to 31.1 degrees). However, the major curve deteriorated significantly to 40.1 degrees on average at the end of the follow-up. The T1-S1 distance increased 2.8 cm on average and kept increasing at a rate of 0.6 cm/year during the follow-up. CONCLUSIONS Posterior only fusion surgery was not a good option to treat the EOS in NF-1 patients despite the relatively short segments involvement in the disease. The maintenance of orthopedic effect after treatment was not satisfactory.BACKGROUND Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) is characterized by the ossification of vertebral bodies and peripheral entheses. However, variations in sacroiliac (SI) joint change in patients with DISH have not been fully clarified. The purpose of this study was to evaluate SI joint variation in patients with DISH in comparison with a non-DISH population. METHODS A total of 342 SI joints in 171 patients (DISH+, n = 86; DISH-, n = 85) who had undergone lumbar spine surgery were analyzed by computed tomography examination. SI joint variations were classified into four types Type 1, normal or tiny peripheral bone irregularity; Type 2, subchondral bone sclerosis and osteophytes formation; Type 3, vacuum phenomenon; and Type 4, bridging osteophyte and bony fusion. The type of bridging osteophyte in SI joints and the prevalence of ossification in each spinal segment from C1 to SI joint were also examined. RESULTS The most common SI joint variation in the DISH+ group was bony fusion (Type 4), with 71.6% exhibiting anterior paraarticular bridging. On the other hand, SI joint vacuum phenomenon (Type 3) was the most frequent change (57.1%) in the DISH- group. The middle to lower thoracic spine and SI joints were highly affected in DISH and caused bony ankylosis. CONCLUSIONS Anterior paraarticular bridging was the most common type of SI joint change in patients with DISH who underwent lumbar spine surgery. The present results regarding variations of SI joint changes in DISH should help understand the etiology of DISH.
