Bottled water use has become widespread in recent years. Many Iranian cities are located in regions with a hot and semi-hot climate, and the quality of drinking water is low in most of these areas. Nitrate and fluoride are chemical constituents of drinking water with significant health concerns since they can be harmful in concentrations higher than drinking water standards. This study aims to determine nitrate and fluoride concentrations in different bottled water brands in the study region; evaluate the non-carcinogenic health risks posed by nitrate and fluoride exposure via the ingestion of bottled water; and compare the measured nitrate and fluoride concentrations with the amounts reported on the bottle labels. Twenty bottled water brands were sampled, and their nitrate and fluoride amounts were determined using the spectrophotometry method. The results revealed that 100% of nitrate and 70% of fluoride in samples had concentrations greater than the levels reported on bottle labels. Minimum, maximum, and mean concentrations for nitrate were, respectively, 1.1, 28, and 8.37 mg/L, and for fluoride were 0.014, 2.36, and 0.63 mg/L. The hazard quotient (HQ) values due to nitrate intake were > 1 in 10% of the samples (n = 2) for both infants and children, indicating potential adverse non-carcinogenic health effects upon consumption. For fluoride intake, the potential adverse health effects (HQ > 1) for infants, children, teenagers, and adults were respectively high in 30, 20, 10, and 10% of the samples. For nitrate, the 95th centile for infants was 1.547, and for fluoride, it was 2.62, 2.19, 1.15, and 1 for infants, children, teenagers, and adults, respectively.Pharmaceuticals pose a major threat to the marine environment, and several studies have recently described their negative effects on marine organisms. Pharmaceutical compounds are constantly being released into aquatic ecosystems, and chronic exposure, even at low concentrations, may have a major impact on marine organisms. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the biological changes induced by one of the most widely used pharmaceuticals-paracetamol-in the blue mussel Mytilus edulis, after a long-term exposure at environmentally relevant concentrations. We present our data alongside and in comparison with results from a previous short-term exposure, to demonstrate the significance of exposure period on the effects of paracetamol in adult blue mussels. After 24 days of laboratory exposure, seven potential target genes were selected to examine toxicological effects in mussels' gonads and possible disruptive effects on reproductive processes. The results show the modulation of some important reproduction-related genes estrogen receptor-2 (ER2), vitelline envelope zona pellucida domain-9 (V9), and vitellogenin (VTG). Variations in mRNA expression of four other genes involved in apoptosis (HSP70, CASP8, BCL2, and FAS) are also highlighted. Histopathological alterations caused by paracetamol, together with neutral red retention time response in mussels' hemocytes, are presented herein. Overall, this study highlights the exacerbated effects of low concentration of paracetamol after chronic exposure, similar to the damage induced by higher concentrations in a short exposure scenario, thus emphasizing the importance of length of exposure period when studying the effects of this substance. Additionally, this study also discusses the potential of paracetamol to inflict several major changes in the reproductive system of mussels and thus possibly affect the survival of populations.In this study, a mixed-level orthogonal array design was employed for the optimum conditions of breeding housefly larvae by food waste. The results showed that the effects of these factors on the weight of 50 larvae, larvae yield, and crude protein content were the culture substrate ratio > the breeding density > the feeding mode. The optimum conditions for the housefly larvae to convert food waste were as follows culture substrates ratio 13, breeding density 10.0 g/kg, and all substance added on the first day. The optimum food waste mass reduction rate was 79.1-83.6%. The value of the essential amino acids (Eaa)/ the total amino acids (Taa) (45.1%) and E/the nonessential amino acid (Naa) values (0.83%) in the housefly larvae products met the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) requirements for feed protein. The contents of total nutrients (N+P+K ≥ 5.5%) and heavy metals (Pb ≤ 0.40 mg/kg, Cr ≤ 1.50 mg/kg, Cd ≤ 0.40 mg/kg) in the residues of this study met the Chinese standard for organic fertilizer. Tilapia raised with the dried housefly larvae showed the best growth performance and nutrient concentrations in the experiment groups (p less then 0.05). Moreover, the trace elements concentration in tilapia raised with the four kinds of feeds complied with the maximum levels of contaminants in foods in both China and WHO. These findings show that the housefly larvae products that converted food waste are suitable for use in the production of fish feed.The distributed driven agricultural vehicle platform studied in this paper is a basic carrying platform that can be used for a variety of agricultural activities (pesticide spraying, weeding, and other plant protection operations). It does not need to rely on traditional fuel engine to drive but is driven by electric power, which is more environmentally friendly and conducive to the development of ecological agriculture in the future. In this paper, according to the driving and structure characteristics of distributed driving electric agricultural vehicles, in order to ensure the vehicle trajectory tracking ability, under conditions of agricultural operation, the driving attitude and drive coordination control of electric agricultural vehicles are taken as the key research objectives. In this way, the driving path of the vehicle platform can be accurately controlled during the operation of pesticide spraying and herbicide, so as to reduce the excessive use or misuse of pesticides and herbicides and greatly reduce the field pollution.
