This work provides a promising strategy for the development of a novel Bi-MOF-derived MOS heterostructure or homostructure with well-defined morphology and composition that can be applied to the fields of gas sensing, energy storage, and catalysis.The interplay between mitochondria and lipid droplets (LDs) plays a central role in regulating the β-oxidation and storage of fatty acids (FA) and is also engaged in responding to external stimuli such as nutrient deficiency. However, a single fluorescent probe enabling the discriminative and simultaneous visualization of the two organelles has not been reported yet, which brings limitation for the in-depth study on their interplay. In this work, utilizing the intramolecular spirocyclization reaction of rhodamine dyes that can dramatically change the optical and soluble properties, we have designed a new single fluorescent probe for labeling LDs and mitochondria in clearly separated dual-emission channels. The newly designed "biform" probe, MT-LD, presented in a ring-opened form in mitochondria to give a strong red emission, while it underwent the intramolecular spirocyclization reaction to target LDs showing an intense blue fluorescence. In this manner, MT-LD can label LDs and mitochondria in blue and red fluorescence, respectively. With this robust probe, the increase of mitochondria-LD contact and peridroplet mitochondria (PDM) amount during oleic acid treatment and starvation-induced autophagy has been successfully revealed. The interaction between the two organelles was also visualized in different tissues, which revealed an obviously higher level of mitochondria-LD contact and PDM amount in brown adipose tissue and lung tissue. This work provides a promising molecular tool to investigate the interplay between mitochondria and LDs and promotes studies on FA metabolism and autophagy.Multimodal lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) has shown promise for improving both the flexibility and practicability of point-of-care test. We report here a facile, in situ growth method for preparing multifunctional core-shell-shell nano-sunflowers with a unique combination of color-magnetic-Raman properties. The use of Fe3O4 nanobeads with high saturation magnetization as the magnetic core allowed for robust magnetic signal strength-even after successive coatings of polydopamine and gold nanoparticles (Au NPs). Carefully selected 4-mercaptobenzonitrile molecules not only contributed to the growth of the Au NP shell but also generated a strong, surface-enhanced Raman scattering signal. The resulting nanomaterials were successfully used in the construction of multimodal LFIA with one qualitative and two alternative quantitative detection modes of different sensitivity levels. The limit of detection for the paradigm target-human chorionic gonadotropin-was 10 mIU/mL in color mode, 1.2 mIU/mL in magnetic mode, and 0.2 mIU/mL in Raman mode.
Cold snare polypectomy (CSP) is an effective method of polyp removal for small colorectal polyps. However, the effect of submucosal injection in cold snare endoscopic mucosal resection (CS-EMR) for small polyps is unclear. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of submucosal injection in CS-EMR for small polyps.
Between 2018 and 2019, 100 consecutive small colorectal polyps (5-10 mm) were identified in 58 patients. The first 50 consecutive polyps were removed by CS-EMR, and the remaining 50 were removed by CSP. Demographic data, clinical data, endoscopic findings, procedure times, complication rates, and pathology data were collected.

In OSCC, activation of Hippo signaling pathway can inhibit malignant biological behavior, epithelial mesenchymal transformation and distant metastasis of tumors, and improve the survival rate of patients. Considering the importance of the Hippo signaling pathway in the development of cancer, this paper summarized the composition and regulatory mechanism of Hippo pathway, elaborated the role of Hippo signaling pathway in the occurrence and development of OSCC.At the same time, make a simple generalization about the potential therapeutic approaches and strategies to reduce the risk of drug resistance for OSCC patients targeting this pathway.Resin cements have been widely employed for bonding all-ceramic restorations in clinical practice, its color stability is directly related to long-term prosthetic effect of restorations. Discoloration of resin cements can be attributed to two causes endogenous factors are generally related to material compositions and initiation mechanism of polymerization; exogenous factors are mainly related to stimulation of local oral environment. Color stability of resin cements has close relationship with esthetic effect of all-ceramic restorations. The aim of this literature review was to make a presentation and discussion systematically about color stability of resin cements commonly used clinically, its influence factors and influence on all-ceramic restorations, so as to provide a reference for the application of all-ceramic restorations.
