The 3D-printed beagle skull model experiment shows that the average errors for the top surface and the bottom surface, and the angle error were 0.81±0.15mm, 0.89±0.12mm, and 1.74°±0.16°, respectively. The average milling position errors for the top and bottom surfaces were 0.87±0.19 and 0.93±0.22mm, respectively.

The proposed collaborative surgical robot system is feasible and can complete a craniotomy, with improved accuracy and surgical safety.In the present study, the concentration of decorin in canine normal and neoplastic mammary gland tissues was examined to understand the potential role of decorin in development and progression of canine mammary tumours. The homogenates of 48 mammary gland tumours (10 benign and 38 malignant) and 10 samples of normal canine mammary gland tissue were used in the study. The presence and quantification of decorin was examined in the homogenates using Western blot and specific canine ELISA. Western blotting confirmed the presence of decorin both in the normal mammary gland tissues and in the mammary gland tumours. The concentration of decorin was significantly higher (p less then .05) in the benign tumours and non-metastatic malignant tumours than in the normal mammary gland. The concentration of decorin was significantly lower (p less then .05) in the malignant tumours with metastasis to regional lymph nodes compared with benign tumours and non-metastatic malignant tumours. No significant differences were found in the level of decorin between the benign and the non-metastatic malignant tumours. Both the histological type of malignant tumours and the histological grade did not significantly affect the concentration of decorin. These findings suggest that neoplastic transformation in the canine mammary gland leads to increase in the decorin protein synthesis. The reducing decorin concentration in canine malignant mammary tumours appears to facilitate the metastatic spread of these tumours.

Mucormycosis is an invasive fungal infection. It is rare and commonly associated with fatal outcomes.

We report two cases of thoracic mucormycosis in immunocompetent patients. First, is an immunocompetent child with mediastinal mass and extension into the pericardium and left atrium. The second is a young woman with a left pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm.

The first patient could not be salvaged while the second patient was successfully managed with surgical intervention and systemic antifungal treatment.

In this communication, a palladium catalyzed cascade azidation/carbonylation of aryl halides for the synthesis of amides was developed. Both iodo- and bromobenzene derivatives were transformed to the corresponding amides using PdCl2 /xantphos as the catalyst system and sodium azide as the nitrogen-source. The reaction proceeds via a cascade azidation/carbonylation process. A range of alkyl and halogen substituted amides were prepared in moderate to good yields.

Maternity harassment, known in English as pregnancy discrimination, remains prevalent in developed countries. However, research examining the mental health effects of maternity harassment is lacking. We aimed to examine the association between maternity harassment and depression during pregnancy in Japan.

A cross-sectional Internet survey was conducted on 359 pregnant employees (including women who were working at the time their pregnancy was confirmed) from May 22 to May 31, 2020, during which time a COVID-19 state of emergency was declared. Maternity harassment was defined as being subjected to any of the 16 adverse treatments prohibited by national guidelines. Depression was defined as a score of ≥9 on the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (Japanese version). Logistic regression analysis was performed.
