Its base station is slightly larger than other models and requires 50cm of space either side and 150cm front but for those with enough space, it's able to provide the complete hands-free cleaning.

The smart navigation technology of the X10 can track the layout and design of your home. It stores the data in its internal memory without ever sending it to the cloud. The X10 can remember the layout of rooms using iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes to be efficient and thorough.

The X10 smart object recognition system is very efficient, allowing it detect and avoid dangers like power cords. It is also able to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice touch. However, I found that the X10 may get stuck on some thicker carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

It's a great robot vacuum and mop however, it's let down by the clunky application. Unlike the iRobot app that guides you through the process of setting up your robot and teaches you how to use it, the Eufy Clean app leaves you to figure things out on your own. It's still a great choice, though, and offers the possibility of customization for those that want to make the most of its features.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. The latest version comes with an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and an upgraded suction capacity that goes up to 3000Pa, which provides greater corner coverage and overall cleanliness.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation an easy app, and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work together to navigate around furniture. Its four-stage cleaning method consolidates sweeps, lifts, and vacuums to eliminate dust from carpets and floors. The dust bin will empty itself, which means there's no need to empty it often.
