Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum combination. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

The mop roller has a number of other smart features, such as docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with mops, but comes at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It's important to note that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate image of your room. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and had to flip over to release itself. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one solution for cleaning.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it struggled with fine engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in an ongoing basis. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they need to be empty.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8, this robot is a slick job of keeping my office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your space, so it knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of tangled rug tassels and it's battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed quite well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It is very silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take photos of each object it comes across (i.e., chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

best robot vacuum cleaner does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
