Finally, the valuation of landscape service flow has been carried out by placing an economic value on the LULC classes, through the use of proxies. LULC pattern change has resulted in the expansion of extensive agriculture. The total variation from 1988 to 2019 has highlighted a significant reduction of Horticulture, Forests, and Grasslands, which have been converted into other classes (Urban and Extensive Agriculture). This conversion of LULC classes has had profound effects on landscape service flow, which guarantees the well-being of local communities. This research has contributed to the knowledge of where the hot-spots of landscape service' provision are located by helping landscape managers to identify suitable local policies able to preserve them, thus avoiding their loss, and enhancing landscape integrity, functionality, and resilience.

With the increasing use of technology in nursing, the importance of interpersonal skills can often be forgotten. Patient safety can also be compromised if these skills are not emphasised in nursing education.

This review explores how drama in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education can enhance the development of interpersonal skills such as empathy, emotional intelligence and communication.

A critical review of qualitative literature.

Seven databases (CINAHL, MEDLINE, Scopus, Eric, Psycinfo, and databases dedicated to the Arts, Modern Language Association (MLA) and JSTOR were searched.

Studies were screened against inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data from studies selected for the review were extracted using a summary table and a thematic analysis was conducted to identify major themes to answer the research question.

1275 studies were identified. Following a rigorous screening process, 29 studies met the inclusion criteria and were critically appraised using the CASP tool. Of the 29 studies, 17 were excluded due to their methodological quality. A final 12 studies were included in this review. Four themes demonstrated the value of drama in nursing education. These were an understanding of the patient experience, the development of professional identity, the enhancement of communication skills and increased self-reflection and critical thinking.

Interpersonal skills are at the core of nursing and educational interventions that use drama can enhance the development of these skills.

Psychiatric nursing is a complex subject for nursing students due to abstract concepts and required pre-licensure competencies including collaboration and communication. A student-centred educational approach is needed to encourage engagement and immersion in class.

This study aimed to use students' perspectives to explore factors facilitating class immersion in a psychiatric nursing subject using team-based learning combined with flipped learning.

This study used a qualitative approach.

Team-based learning combined with flipped learning was applied in a 3-credit psychiatric nursing subject over a 15-week semester at a university in Daejeon, South Korea.

Participants included 12 senior nursing students who had completed a psychiatric nursing subject.

Data were collected using individual interviews, and analysed by reflexive thematic analysis. Data analysis was based on constructivist learning theory.

The following four main themes emerged, teacher as a facilitator, inquiry-based learning, collab, thereby improving instructor's design for the subject.

We aimed to (1) evaluate the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) training in improving knowledge among nursing students and (2) identify the essential features of training.

This systematic review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.

Randomised controlled trials (RCTs) were obtained from PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, PsycINFO, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, ProQuest and Scopus databases from inception up until 15 October 2019.

Meta-analysis and random-effects meta-regression was performed using the Comprehensive Meta-analysis 3.0 software. The overall effect was measured using Hedges' g and determined using Z-statistics at the significance level of p<0.05. Heterogeneity was assessed using χ

statistics. The risk of bias tool and the Grading of the Recommendation, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) system were employed to assess individual and overall quality of evidence, resng strategy to improve knowledge acquisition, but it is presently suitable for supplementing conventional teaching methods. Nonetheless, VR could complement current pedagogy to address challenges associated with decreased clinical placement opportunities. Larger, well-designed RCTs are required to strengthen the evidence about the effectiveness of VR training. The use of active particles for cargo transport offers unique potential for applications ranging from targeted drug delivery to lab-on-a-particle systems. Previously, deployment of metallo-dielectric Janus spherical particles (JPs) as mobile microelectrodes for transport and dielectrophoretic manipulation of cargo has been shown to be singularly controlled via an applied electric field. Herein, we extended this to a metallo-dielectric pollen featuring multiple dielectrophoretic traps associated with its many spikes, and characterized its loading capacities for various cargo sizes and frequencies. When compared to spherical JPs, the active pollen exhibited a significantly enhanced cargo loading capacity due to its multiple dielectrophoretic traps. These findings open new opportunities for application of bio-hybrid particles with diverse and irregular shapes, such as pollen, as efficient cargo carriers, local electroporation and targeted drug delivery.Grade group 4 and 5 (GG-45) prostate cancer (PCa) patients are at the highest risk of lethal outcomes, yet lack genomic risk stratification for prognosis and treatment selection. selleck products Here, we assess whether transcriptomic interactions between tumor immune content score (ICS) and the Decipher genomic classifier can identify most lethal subsets of GG-45 PCa. We utilized whole transcriptome data from 8071 tumor tissue (6071 prostatectomy and 2000 treatment-naïve biopsy samples) to derive four immunogenomic subtypes using ICS and Decipher. When compared across all grade groups, GG-45 samples had the highest proportion of most aggressive subtype-ICSHigh/DecipherHigh. Subsequent analyses within the GG-45 patient samples (n = 1420) revealed that the ICSHigh/DecipherHigh subtype was associated with increased genomic radiosensitivity. Additionally, in a multivariable model (n = 335), ICSHigh/DecipherHigh subtype had a significantly higher risk of distant metastasis (hazard ratio [HR] = 5.41; 95% confidence interval [CI], 2.
