Efforts to improve the patient-centeredness in FT should begin by establishing a national ongoing feedback mechanism, involving all 25 IVF units operating in Israel working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. The findings from this joint effort should be shared with the public. In addition, we recommended appointing one professional in each IVF unit to be in charge of promoting improvements in the patient-centered care for that unit. Assigning a mental health professional (psychologist or social worker) to each and every IVF unit is also of crucial importance.
The skeletal muscle regeneration relays on the satellite cells which are stem cells located between basal lamina and plasmalemma of muscle fiber. In the injured muscles, the satellite cells become activated, start to proliferate, and then differentiate into myoblasts, which fuse to form myotubes and finally myofibers. The satellite cells play the crucial role in the regeneration; however, other cells present in the muscle could also support this process. In the present study, we focused on one population of such cells, i.e., muscle interstitial progenitor cells.
We used the CD146 marker to identify the population of mouse muscle interstitial cells. We analyzed the expression of selected markers, as well as clonogenic, myogenic, adipogenic, and chondrogenic potential in vitro. Simultaneously, we analyzed satellite cell-derived myoblasts and bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem/stromal cells that allowed us to pinpoint the differences between these cell populations. Moreover, we isolated CD146+ cells and performed heterotopic transplantations to follow their in vivo differentiation.
Mouse muscle CD146+ interstitial progenitor cells expressed nestin and NG2 but not PAX7. These cells presented clonogenic and myogenic potential both in vitro and in vivo. CD146+ cells fused also with myoblasts in co-cultures in vitro. However, they were not able to differentiate to chondro- or adipocytes in vitro. Moreover, CD146+ cells followed myogenic differentiation in vivo after heterotopic transplantation.
Mouse CD146+ cells represent the population of mouse muscle interstitial progenitors that differ from satellite cell-derived myoblasts and have clonogenic and myogenic properties.

Psychological resilience and coping strategies have been found to be related to various psychological and mental health problems. Evaluations of the relationship between resilience and coping style among university students are important for developing effective health promotion strategies focused on resilience intervention to benefit students' health and well-being. The relationship between psychological resilience and coping styles has usually been examined among adults and patients. Very few studies have investigated the relationship between resilience and coping style in university students. The present study aimed to investigate the associations between psychological resilience, students' characteristics (gender, major and grade) and coping styles among undergraduate students.
A cross-sectional survey was conducted among undergraduate students in Shandong Province, China. Undergraduate students were randomly selected from 6 universities in 3 cities of the province using a stratified random sampling mn-medical students and males (p < 0.01).
The research revealed that females and medical students are more likely than males and non-medical students to adopt positive coping styles. Higher psychological resilience is associated with a better positive coping style. The findings suggest that psychological education and health promotion programmes that target strengthening psychological resilience among undergraduate students may help foster positive coping styles to benefit their mental health and psychological well-being.

Advanced biological aging, as measured by epigenetic aging indices, is associated with early mortality and morbidity. MF-438 Associations between maternal epigenetic aging indices in pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes, namely gestational length and birthweight, have not been assessed. The purpose of this study was to examine whether epigenetic age during pregnancy was associated with gestational length and birthweight.
The sample consisted of 77 women from the Los Angeles, CA, area enrolled in the Healthy Babies Before Birth study. Whole blood samples for DNA methylation assay were obtained during the second trimester (15.6 ± 2.15 weeks gestation). Epigenetic age indices GrimAge acceleration (GrimAgeAccel), DNAm PAI-1, DNAm ADM, and DNAm cystatin C were calculated. Gestational length and birthweight were obtained from medical chart review. Covariates were maternal sociodemographic variables, gestational age at blood sample collection, and pre-pregnancy body mass index. In separate covariate-adjusted linear regressight. These findings suggest that biological age, as measured by these epigenetic indices, could indicate risk for adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Zika virus (ZIKV) is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that recently emerged in the South Pacific islands and Americas where unprecedented outbreaks were reported. Although Aedes aegypti is considered to be the main vector for ZIKV, other mosquito species have been shown to be potential vectors and differences in vector competence with respect to mosquito strain and ZIKV strain have been demonstrated. In this study we compared the vector competence of three mosquito species Aedes albopictus, Ae. aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus from Reunion Island for three ZIKV strains.
Five mosquito strains (2 strains of Ae. albopictus, 1 of Ae. aegypti and 2 of Cx. quinquefasciatus) were exposed to three ZIKV strains one African strain (Dak84) and two Asian strains (PaRi_2015 and MAS66). The vector competence parameters (infection rate, dissemination efficiency and transmission efficiency) and viral loads were examined at 14 and 21 days post-infection.
The two Cx. quinquefasciatus strains did not become infected and were therefore unable to either disseminate or transmit any of the three ZIKV strains.
