The improvement of gravimetric uptake in M-Cu-BTC (where M = Ni2+, Zn2+, and Fe2+) is probably due to the increase in binding enthalpy of H2 with the unsaturated metal sites after the partial exchange from Cu2+ to other metal ions. The higher charge density of metal ions strongly polarizes hydrogen and provides the primary binding sites inside the pores of Cu-BTC and subsequently enhances the gravimetric uptake of hydrogen. This paper proposes a fast methodology to synthesize hybrid lenalidomide gold nanoparticles. Gold (HAuCl4) is chelated with an antiangiogenic compound (lenalidomide (LENA)) and diacid poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) as capping agent and reagent. The suggested synthesis is rapid and results in gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) with enhanced drug solubility. The binding between LENA, PEG, and Au(III) ions forms hybrid nanovectors named LENA IN PEG-AuNPs, which were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques (Raman and UV-vis), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and compared with LENA ON PEG-AuNPs, in which the drug was grafted onto gold surface by carbodiimide chemistry (1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide/N-hydroxysuccinimide, EDC/NHS). The effective drug delivery under pH conditions was also reached, combined with doxorubicin (DOX) to improve the synergic chemotherapy and stability under experimental conditions. For biomedical purposes, hybrid gold nanocarriers were conjugated with folic acid (FA), which is specifically overexpressed in cancer cells. This paper will be very important in the domain of therapeutic gold complex, paving the way for reaching progress of novel drug carrier synthesis in nanomedicine.Like most macromolecule polymers, epoxy resin (EP) is easy to burn, and there are great fire safety hazards in the process of use. Therefore, how to improve the fire safety of EP becomes one of the problems to be considered in the application of EP. In this study, tricobalt tetraoxide (Co3O4)-loaded TiO2 nanotube (TNT) (Co3O4-TNT) hybrid material was prepared by the co-precipitation method, and organophilic α-ZrP (OZrP) was obtained by hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide-intercalated α-zirconium phosphate (α-ZrP) which was prepared by the hydrothermal synthesis method. Then, a series of nanocomposites were obtained by adding the synthesized nanomaterials to the EP at a certain ratio. The structure and morphology characterization indicated that Co3O4-TNTs and OZrP were synthesized successfully. The results of thermogravimetric analysis showed that the co-addition of Co3O4-TNTs and OZrP could further enhance the thermal stability of EP. The results of a cone calorimeter showed that EP/OZrP/Co3O4-TNTs had the lowest peak heat release rate and total heat release, which decreased by 36.2 and 35.4%, respectively, compared with the pure EP. This indicates that Co3O4-TNTs and OZrP had a good synergetic flame retardant effect and could effectively enhance the flame retardancy of EP.We prepared a multimodality nanocomplex by functionalizing gold nanorods (GNRs) with a cytotoxic nucleoside, 5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine (FdU) containing a DNA hairpin, along with complexation of pleiotropic molecule curcumin. Avapritinib Conjugates were investigated for anti-tumor activity using an Ehrlich carcinoma model in combination with 808 nm laser irradiation. We demonstrated that hairpin-functionalized GNRs are suitable for intravenous administration, including delivery of cytotoxic nucleotides and curcumin. Curcumin binding with FdU-hairpin-functionalized GNRs displayed improved anti-tumor activity in part by inducing a lymphocyte-mediated immune response. The complex showed notable photothermal activity in vitro; however, 808 nm laser irradiation of the tumor following treatment with the complex did not increase the anti-tumor effect significantly. Biodistribution studies depicted that the nanoconjugates localized primarily in the sinusoidal structures of the liver and spleen with minimal tumor accumulation. Curcumin complexation alleviated the reduction in the RBC count that was observed for the conjugate without curcumin, especially in combination with laser irradiation. Localization of FdU-hairpin-GNR conjugates in the liver and spleen evoked an inflammatory response, which was mitigated by curcumin complexation. However, no functional abnormality was found in the liver in any case. Curcumin binding also notably decreased nanoconjugate accumulation in lungs and significantly reduced inflammation. Biodistribution studies were consistent with previous reports, suggesting that optimization of the GNR size and surface coating is required for more efficient tumor localization via the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect. Our studies demonstrate that DNA/RNA hairpins are suitable for GNR surface functionalization and enable delivery of cytotoxic nucleotides as well as curcumin in vivo with potential for synergistic anti-cancer therapy. In this study, we reported the preparation of a conducting polymeric/inorganic nanohybrid consisting of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), N-doped graphene (NGr), and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOTPSS), and its electrochemical application in intelligent sensors and supercapacitors. The multilayer thin film of the PEDOTPSS-supported MWCNT-NGr nanohybrid was prepared by a facile layer-by-layer assembly strategy. The obtained conducting polymeric/inorganic nanohybrid modified electrode displayed superior electron transfer ability and a high specific surface area, which was used for electrochemical applications in intelligent sensors and supercapacitors. Remarkably, the fabricated amaranth sensor exhibited a broad linear range of 0.05-10 μM with a limit of detection of 0.015 μM under the optimal conditions. With the help of the response surface methodology, multivariate optimization was used as a substitute for the traditional single variable optimization to reflect the complete real effects of multivariate optimization in a sensing platform. Machine learning implemented by hybrid genetic algorithm-artificial neural network was used as an intelligent analysis model to replace the traditional regression analysis model for realizing intelligent analysis and output of sensing system. The MWCNT-NGr/PEDOTPSS modified electrode exhibited a considerable specific capacitance of 6.5 mF cm-2 at a current density of 2.0 mA cm-2. The proposed results provided a new thought for a nanosensing platform equipped with a supercapacitor as a self-powered electrochemical energy storage system and machine learning as an intelligent analysis and output system in the near future.
