02 %-100 % and 54.84 %-100 % and MICs of 0.07-0.88 mg/mL and 0.20-1.17 mg/mL, respectively. Pogostone (24.96 %) and thymol (15.64 %) were the major compounds of P. cablin EO and E. fortunei EO, respectively, and they exhibited stronger antifungal activities than EOs, with MICs of 0.008-0.078 mg/mL and 0.12-0.31 mg/mL, respectively. Moreover, hymexazol was mixed with E. fortunei EO, and the inhibitory effect against Cylindrocarpon destructans was enhanced with a synergistic effect. The disease incidence and disease index of EO treatments decreased significantly in vivo. Based on our study, P. cablin EO and E. fortunei EO have great potential to be developed into green fungicides for use in agriculture to control diseases of P. Avexitide notoginseng. The current study focused on pediatric nurses. It explored the direct link between posttraumatic growth as a coping resource and burnout and the indirect link between posttraumatic growth and burnout via secondary traumatic stress (mediating effect). Moreover, meaning in work was examined as a moderator variable in relation to the direct link and the indirect link. One hundred and thirty-eight nurses working at a pediatric medical center filled out self-report questionnaires regarding personal and professional data, burnout, posttraumatic growth, secondary traumatic stress, and meaning in work. Posttraumatic growth was found to be a coping resource that linked to pediatric nurses' burnout directly and indirectly. Directly, there was an inverse correlation between the two; indirectly, posttraumatic growth linked negatively to secondary traumatic stress, and secondary traumatic stress linked positively to burnout. Moreover, meaning in work played a dual moderating role. First, it moderated the relationship between posttraumatic growth and secondary traumatization. Second, it moderated the direct relationship between posttraumatic growth and burnout, namely, the negative link between posttraumatic growth and burnout became stronger as meaning in work increased. As such, we recommend enhancing personal and professional posttraumatic growth, as well as designing interventions that promote meaningful work among pediatric nurses.Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a recognized public health problem and key determinant of poor health outcomes. In Mexico, this condition has been associated with high and significant risk of death in COVID-19 patients; however, not enough attention has been given to the vulnerable population as the increasing numbers and fatality rates suggest. This study evaluated the effect of interaction between CKD condition and other risk factors (sex, diabetes, hypertension and obesity) on the survival rate of positive patients for COVID-19 in Mexico. The results from this study support that CKD patients is a population at high risk for mortality for COVID-19 and that COVID-19 positive inpatients with CKD and diabetes are highly vulnerable to death.Isocitrate dehydrogenase 2 (IDH2) is a key enzyme in the regulation of cell metabolism. Its mutated type can lead to the accumulation of 2-hydroxyglutarate, which is often related to malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia. Therefore, it is necessary to find new inhibitors targeting mutant IDH2. Discriminatory analysis-based molecular docking was employed to screen the ChemDiv compound library, which resulted in the identification of three new IDH2R140Q inhibitors with moderate-to-good IC50 values. Among them, compounds 1 and 3 displayed good selectivity against other mutant or wild-type IDH proteins. The most potent compound 1, bearing the [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin scaffold, was subjected to dynamic simulations to provide more information on the binding mode with IDH2R140Q , providing structural clues to further optimize compound 1 as a new mutant IDH2 inhibitor.Little research on impact of air pollution on human skin is available. We aimed to clarify the association between acute exposure to criteria air pollutant with biophysical characteristics of the skin. We followed a panel of 20 volunteers free of any skin diseases in skin evaluation study in Tehran, Iran from April 2017 to April 2018. Two distinct body parts including middle forehead and inside the right upper arm were evaluated at six time periods. The associations of the weighted averages of personal exposure to air pollutants at 24 hours up to 6 days, and multiday average before the skin assessment with biophysical characteristics of normal skin including sebum content, hydration, transepidermal water loss (TEWL), erythema index, melanin index, pH, temperature, friction, and elasticity were assessed in a random intercept linear mixed effects modeling approach. We observed significant positive association for the arm sebum content with exposure to PM2.5 , and SO2 ; the arm and forehead TEWL with NO2 , the arm and forehead friction with O3 , and forehead hydration with PM2.5 and PM10 in early lags. We found significant negative association for the arm melanin index, elasticity, and erythema index with exposure to O3 ; and forehead elasticity with PM2.5 and PM10 . Our results provided some evidence that short-term exposure to particulate and gaseous air pollutants have detrimental effects on biophysical and biomechanical properties of skin. The association varied across body area and depended on pollutant type.Blood purification by adsorption of excessive biomolecules is vital for maintaining human health. Here, inspired by kidney self-purification, which removes a number of biomolecules with different sizes simultaneously, hierarchical molecular-imprinted inverse opal particles integrated with a herringbone microfluidic chip for efficient biomolecules cleaning are presented. The particle possesses combinative porous structure with both surface and interior imprints for the specific recognition of small molecules and biomacromolecules. Additionally, the presence of the herringbone mixer largely improve the adsorption efficiency due to enhanced mixing. Moreover, the inverse opal framework of the particles give rise to optical sensing ability for self-reporting of the adsorption states. These features, together with its reusability, biosafety, and biocompatibility, make the platform highly promising for clinical blood purification and artificial kidney construction.
