Ovarian granulosa cell tumors that originate from the sex cord-stromal cells represent 2% to 5% of all ovarian cancers. These tumors constitute two subgroups according to their clinical and histopathological features juvenile granulosa cell tumors (JGCT) and adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT). Granulosa cell tumor (GCT) is considered to be a low-grade malignancy with a favorable prognosis.
This case series includes four patients who admitted to our university hospital and had an MRI examination within 5 years.
The histopathological subtype of granulosa tumor was the adult type in 3 patients and juvenile type in 1 patient. Even though its extremely rare, bone metastases were present in one of our patients. Liver metastases were also detected in one patient. The MRI examination of tumors revealed a heterogeneous solid mass that contained cystic components in 3 patients. RGD(Arg-Gly-Asp)Peptides chemical structure In one of our patients, the tumor had a multiseptated cystic feature, and all of the tumors were ovoid or round with smooth margins. T1 signal hyperintensity, not suppressed on fat saturation sequences, observed in our 3 patients, which represents its hemorrhagic content.
Even though granulosa cell tumor shows a wide spectrum in terms of tumor appearance, some common findings have been shown and especially a hemorrhagic content could be a clue for us. The tumor is known to have a good prognosis, but it may have an unpredictable clinical course, so close follow-up has a great importance.

A feasible tumor resection option may improve disease control and survival. The study's objective was to evaluate a continent urine reservoir created from the urinary bladder body and vascularized solely by omentum. We hypothesized that a viable urine reservoir could be created, and staged omentalization would provide improved vascularity. Nine normal female Beagles were randomized to one of three groups. Group A urinary bladders were transected cranial to the ureteral papillae to create a closed bladder vesicle which was concomitantly omentalized. Group B underwent omentalization two weeks prior to vesicle creation. Based on Group A and B results, Group C underwent neoureterocystostomy and omentalization followed by neoreservoir formation and tube cystostomy 2 weeks later. Serial ultrasounds and histopathology confirmed adequate omental neovascularization in Groups B and C with continent Group C neoreservoirs maintained for 2 months. Some pylectasia and ureteral dilation was documented in all Group C dogs at variable timepoints. Progressive hydroureteronephrosis developed in 2/6 kidneys. Transient azotemia was noted in only 1 Group C dog, although all developed treatable urinary tract infections. The sample size is limited, and the efficacy of this technique in providing disease control for UC is unknown. However, this novel option could allow for primary UC resection while providing continence and limiting complications. Postoperative local or systemic adjuvant therapy, ultrasonographic neoreservoir monitoring, and BRAF analysis would be indicated.Incidence of Herpes Zoster is relatively high. Herpes zoster ophthalmicus is one of the most common forms of the disease. Necrotising herpetic retinopathies (including acute retinal necrosis) are rare and usually these complications are presented in literature as individual cases. However, necrotising herpetic retinopathy can lead to complete loss of visual. The article reviews modern data on causation, diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis analyzing 40 open access articles from EBSCO published in 2011-2019, and describes the modern views on the prevalence and most important clinical features of herpetic acute retinal necrosis. Some contradictory opinions have been revealed concerning the diagnostic criteria and surgical treatment of acute retinal necrosis.Forty-two commercial non-alcoholic beer (NAB) brands were analyzed using sensory and chemical techniques to understand which analytes and/or flavors were most responsible for invoking the perception of "beer flavor" (for Northern Californian consumers). The aroma and taste profiles of the commercial NABs, a commercial soda, and a carbonated seltzer water (n = 44) were characterized using replicated descriptive and CATA analyses performed by a trained sensory panel (i.e., 11 panelists). A number of non-volatile and volatile techniques were then used to chemically deconstruct the products. Consumer analysis (i.e., 129 Northern Californian consumers) was also used to evaluate a selection of these NABs (i.e., 12) and how similar they thought the aroma, taste and mouthfeels of these products were to beer, soda, and water. The results show that certain constituents drive the aroma and taste profiles which are responsible for invoking beer perception for these North American consumers. Further, beer likeness might not be a driver of preference in this diverse beverage class for Northern Californian consumers. These are important insights for brewers planning to create products for similar markets and/or more broadly for companies interested in designing other functional/alternative food and beverage products.Local warming induced by rapid urbanization has been threatening residents' health, raising significant concerns among urban planners. Local climate zone (LCZ), a widely accepted approach to reclassify the urban area, which is helpful to propose planning strategies for mitigating local warming, has been well documented in recent years. Based on the LCZ framework, many scholars have carried out diversified extensions in urban zoning research in recent years, in which urban functional zone (UFZ) is a typical perspective because it directly takes into account the impacts of human activities. UFZs, widely used in urban planning and management, were chosen as the basic unit of this study to explore the spatial heterogeneity in the relationship between landscape composition, urban morphology, urban functions, and land surface temperature (LST). Global regression including ordinary least square regression (OLS) and random forest regression (RF) were used to model the landscape-LST correlations to screen indicators to participate in following spatial regression.
