6% in 2020. Between 2010 and 2020, the number of THRs increased by 50% and the prevalence of THRs by 38%. In 2020, the proportion of bilateral THRs had risen to 29% and the proportion of patients with older THRs to 36%. The RBF decreased between 1996 and 2020 from 3.1% to 1.3% (age- and sex-adjusted proportion ratio PR 0.42 [95% CI 0.39-0.45]).
Despite the decrease in the RBF, the rapidly increasing prevalence of THRs potentially increases the number of revisits and revisions and thus poses a challenge for healthcare in the future.

Bronchiectasis is an acquired chronic respiratory condition with a relatively high incidence in New Zealand children. Bronchiectasis following kidney transplant has been reported internationally. This study aimed to identify the incidence rate of bronchiectasis following paediatric kidney transplantation. Secondary aims were to assess the impact on kidney allograft function and identify risk factors that might prompt earlier diagnosis.
Case control study of children who developed bronchiectasis following kidney transplant in New Zealand. All children who were transplanted during the 16-year period from 2001 to 2016 were included. Each identified case was matched with two controls (children who did not develop bronchiectasis and received a kidney transplant within the closest time period to their matched case). Data were collected on baseline demographics, clinical variables, immunosuppression and allograft function.
Of 95 children who had a kidney transplant during the specified time period, eight (8.4%y transplantation with a history of recurrent lower respiratory tract infection or chronic cough are advised.Inotropic agents are generally recommended to use in patients with acute decompensated heart failure (HF) with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) concurrent to end-organ dysfunction. However, due to certain pharmacological limitations like developing life threatening arrhythmia and tolerance, cannot be employed as much as needed. Meanwhile, Calcium ion (Ca2+) sensitisers exhibits their inotropic action by increasing the sensitivity of the cardiomyocyte to intracellular Ca2+ ion and have been reported as emerging therapeutic alternative in HF cases. Levosimendan (LEVO) is an inodilator and with its unique pharmacology justifying its use in a wide range of cardiac alterations in HF particularly in undergoing cardiac surgery. It is also reported to be better than classical inotropes in maintaining cardiac mechanical efficacy and reducing congestion in acute HF with hypotension. This review paper was designed to compile various evidence about basic pharmacology and potential clinical aspects of LEVO in cardiac surgery and other HF associated alterations. This will benefit directly to the researcher in initiating research and to fill the gaps in the area of thrust.
Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) commonly presents with lymph node metastasis, which may be associated with worsened prognosis. This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the risk factors of lymph node metastasis in PTC based on preoperative clinical and imaging data and to construct a nomogram model to predict the risk of lymph node metastasis.
A total of 989 patients with PTC were enrolled and randomly divided into training and validation cohorts in an 82 ratio. Independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis in PTC were analyzed using univariate and stepwise multivariate logistic regression. An importance analysis of independent risk factors affecting lymph node metastasis was performed according to the random forest method. Subsequently, a nomogram to predict lymph node metastasis was constructed, and the predictive effect of the nomogram was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic analysis and calibration curves.
Univariate regression analysis revealed that age, sex, body weight, sy node metastasis.
Our study showed that independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis in PTC were sex, age, enlarged lymph node present on imaging, nodule diameter, and color Doppler TI-RADS grade. The nomogram constructed based on these independent risk factors can better predict the risk of lymph node metastasis.2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) dose-dependently induces the development of hepatic fat accumulation and inflammation with fibrosis in mice initially in the portal region. Conversely, differential gene and protein expression is first detected in the central region. To further investigate cell-specific and spatially resolved dose-dependent changes in gene expression elicited by TCDD, single-nuclei RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics were used for livers of male mice gavaged with TCDD every 4 days for 28 days. The proportion of 11 cell (sub)types across 131,613 nuclei dose-dependently changed with 68% of all portal and central hepatocyte nuclei in control mice being overtaken by macrophages following TCDD treatment. We identified 368 (portal fibroblasts) to 1,339 (macrophages) differentially expressed genes. Spatial analyses revealed initial loss of portal identity that eventually spanned the entire liver lobule with increasing dose. Induction of R-spondin 3 (Rspo3) and pericentral Apc, suggested dysregulation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling cascade in zonally resolved steatosis. Collectively, the integrated results suggest disruption of zonation contributes to the pattern of TCDD-elicited NAFLD pathologies.1. This study aimed to study the preventive and therapeutic effects of andrographolide (Andro) during Mycoplasma gallisepticum HS strain (MG) infection in ArborAcres (AA) broilers.2. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Andro against MG was measured. Broiler body weight, feed efficiency, morbidity, cure rate and mortality were recorded during the experiment. Air sac lesion scores and immune organ index were calculated. Expression of pMGA1.2 in lung tissue and serum biochemical indices were examined. Histopathological examinations of immune organs, liver, trachea and lung tissue were conducted by Haematoxylin and Eosin stain.3. MIC was 3.75 μg/mL and Andro significantly inhibited the expression of pMGA1.2 (P ≤ 0.05). Compared with control MG-infected group, Andro low-dose and high-dose prevention reduced the morbidity of chronic respiratory disease in 40.00% and 50.00%, respectively. Mortality of C, D and E group was 16.67%, 10.00% and 6.67%, respectively. Cure rate of E, F, G and H group was 92.00%, ndent manner (P ≤ 0.05).5. Andro could act as a potential agent against MG infection in broilers.Among the stereotypes of female delinquency, the article focuses on "bad women" par excellence, that is to say, those convicted of murder who have not benefited from the possibility of being perceived and portrayed as "victims" because of their unorthodox femininity. The aim of the study was to understand how the label of "bad woman" is incorporated into the narration of identity of five women condemned for murder; to this end, we focus on the narratives implemented in order to cope with the stigma (narrative criminology), tracing them back to their past and the traumatic experiences they lived (psychosocial criminology). Four narratives emerge the denied stigma, the disregarded stigma, the despairing stigma and the processed stigma. Psychosocial criminology consents to "go beyond" the surface and to find a "fil rouge" that can explain the discrepancies and the contradictions found in the way of coping with the imposed label.Owing to several advantages of metallic sodium (Na), such as a relatively high theoretical capacity, low redox potential, wide availability, and low cost, Na metal batteries are being extensively studied, which are expected to play a major role in the fields of electric vehicles and grid-scale energy storage. Although considerable efforts have been devoted to utilizing MXene-based materials for suppressing Na dendrites, achieving a stable cycling of Na metal anodes remains extremely challenging due to, for example, the low Coulombic efficiency (CE) caused by the severe side reactions. Herein, a g-C3N4 layer was attached in situ on the Ti3C2 MXene surface, inducing a surface state reconstruction and thus forming a stable hetero-interphase with excellent sodiophilicity between the MXene and g-C3N4 to inhibit side reactions and guide uniform Na ion flux. The 3D construction can not only lower the local current density to facilitate uniform Na plating/stripping but also mitigate volume change to stabilize the electrolyte/electrode interphase. Thus, the 3D Ti3C2 MXene@g-C3N4 nanocomposite enables much enhanced average CEs (99.9% at 1 mA h cm-2, 0.5 mA cm-2) in asymmetric half cells, long-term stability (up to 700 h) for symmetric cells, and stable cycling (up to 800 cycles at 2 C), together with outstanding rate capability (up to 20 C), of full cells. The present study demonstrates an approach in developing practically high performance for Na metal anodes.
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of endoscopic cyanoacrylate injection therapy for refractory high-risk peptic ulcer bleeding by conventional endoscopic therapy.
154 patients with refractory high-risk peptic ulcer bleeding by conventional endoscopic therapy at the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical Univesity and the People's Hospital of Liupanshui City from January 2018 to December 2021were enrolled in this study. Endoscopic intracellular cyanoacrylate injection was first carried out. When failure, perintravascullar injection was carried out. The data were retrospectively collected.
Among the 154 patients, 102 patients (66.23%) obtained successful intravascular injection and perivascular injection was performed in 52 patients (33.77%). GDC0973 Immediate hemostatic rate for active bleeding achieved 93.18%. Overall rebleeding rate within 30 days was 12.99% and successful hemostasis rate achieved 87.01%. Immediate hemostatic rate and successful hemostasis rate in intravascular injection patients were markedly superior over perivascular injection. Rebleeding rate in intravascular injection patients was markedly lower than that in perivascular injection patients. 14 patients complicated abdominal pain and no other complication occurred.
Endoscopic cyanoacrylate injection therapy, especial intravascular injection, was effective and safe, with high successful hemostasis rate for refractory high-risk peptic ulcer bleeding by conventional endoscopic therapy.

Recently, we showed that zaxinone, a apocarotenoid metabolite formed by the CCD ZAXINONE SYNTHASE (ZAS), is a growth regulator required for normal rice (Oryza sativa) growth and development. The rice genome encodes three OsZAS homologs, called here OsZAS1b, OsZAS1c, and OsZAS2, with unknown functions. Here, we investigated the enzymatic activity, expression pattern, and subcellular localization of OsZAS2 and generated and characterized loss-of-function CRISPR/Cas9 (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats and associated protein 9)-Oszas2 mutants. We show that OsZAS2 formed zaxinone in vitro. OsZAS2 was predominantly localized in plastids and mainly expressed under phosphate starvation. Moreover, OsZAS2 expression increased during mycorrhization, specifically in arbuscule-containing cells. Oszas2 mutants contained lower zaxinone content in roots and exhibited reduced root and shoot biomass, fewer tillers, and higher strigolactone (SL) levels.
