Prostate cancer (PC) is one of the major impediments affecting men, which leads approximately 31,620 deaths in both developing and developed countries. Although some chemotherapy drugs have been reported for prostate cancer, they are not effective due to the lack of safety, efficacy and low selectivity. Hence, the novel alternative anticancer agents with remarkable effect are highly appreciable. Natural plants contain several bio-active compounds which have been traditionally used for the various medical treatments. Particularly, naringin is a natural bio-active compound commonly found in the citrus fruits, which have shown numerous biological activities. Phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) is a tumor suppressor gene, which activates both lipid phosphates and protein phosphates. The PTEN gene is negative regulator of PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways, since, this signaling pathway play an essential role in the cell survival, proliferation and migration. In the present in silico investigation, structure based virtual screening, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation and Adsorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion (ADME) prediction were employed to determine the binding affinity, stability and drug likeness properties of top ranked screened compounds and naringin, respectively. The results revealed that the complex has good molecular interactions, binding stability (peak between 0.3 and 0.4 nm) and no violations in the Lipinski Rule of 5 in naringin, but the screened compounds violated the drug likeness properties. #link# From the in silico analyses, it is identified that naringin compound might assist in the development of novel therapeutic candidate against prostate cancer. Healthcare workers that are in the front line face challenges with a shortage of personal protective equipment, high risk of contamination, low adherence to the social distancing measures by the population, low coronavirus testing with underestimation of cases, and also financial concerns due to the economic crisis in a developing country. This study compared the impact of COVID-19 pandemic among three categories of healthcare workers in Brazil physicians, nurses, and dentists, about workload, income, protection, training, feelings, behavior, and level of concern and anxiety. The sample was randomly selected and a Google Forms questionnaire was sent by WhatsApp messenger. The survey comprised questions about jobs, income, workload, PPE, training for COVID-19 patient care, behavior and feelings during the pandemic. The number of jobs reduced for all healthcare workers in Brazil during the pandemic, but significantly more for dentists. The workload and income reduced to all healthcare workers. Most healthcare workers did not receive proper training for treating COVID-19 infected patients. Physicians and nurses were feeling more tired than usual. Most of the healthcare workers in all groups reported difficulties in sleeping during the pandemic. The healthcare workers reported a significant impact of COVID-19 pandemic in their income, workload and anxiety, with differences among physicians, nurses and dentists.Purpose. click here investigated self-reported occupational injuries among mothers in a large birth cohort study and the relation of their characteristics to different injury outcomes occurrence, severity, temporal proximity and recurrence. Methods. We asked 4338 women whether they had been in 'an accident at work, even if it did not require medical treatment', and the number of accidents throughout their working life, type of injury and whether it occurred within the last 12 months. Results. Over one-fifth (21.8%) of working-age mothers reported having at least one occupational injury throughout their working life. Wounds and superficial injuries were the most frequently reported types of occupational injuries (11.0%), followed by dislocated bones and joints, sprains and strains (10.7%). Women who reported a history of occupational injuries also had a higher likelihood of reporting a work-related health problem (adjusted odds ratio [OR] = 2.64; 95% confidence interval [CI] [2.27, 3.07]) and of having a partner who also reported an occupational injury throughout their working life (adjusted OR = 1.86; 95% CI [1.33, 2.62]). Commercially available TNF-α inhibitors are associated with several risks and limitations. In the present study, we have identified small TNF-α inhibitors using in silico approaches, namely pharmacophore modeling, virtual screening, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation and free binding energy calculations. The study yielded better and potent hits that bind to TNF-α with significant affinity. The best pharmacophore model generated using LigandScout has an efficient hit rate and Area Under the operating Curve. High throughput virtual screening of SPECS database molecules against crystal structure of TNF-α protein, coupled with physicochemical filtration, PAINS test. Virtual hit compounds used for molecular docking enabled the identification of 20 compounds with better binding energies when compared with previously known TNF-α inhibitors. MD simulation analysis on 20 virtual identified hits showed that ligand binding with TNF-α protein is stable and protein-ligand conformation remains unchanged. To determine the prevalence of provider-documented anxiety in critically ill patients, associated risk factors, and related patient outcomes.

Chart review of 100 randomly sampled, adult patients, with a length of stay ≥48 hours in a medical or trauma/surgical intensive care unit (ICU). Provider-documented anxiety was identified based on a comprehensive retrospective chart review of the ICU stay, searching for any acute episode of anxiety (e.g., documented words related to anxiety, panic, and/or distress).
