between CTA models and CIRM models was 0.24±0.10 mm.

CIRM demonstrated encouraging results in reestablish the normal anatomy and could be potentially used in production process of 3D printed patient-specific radial head prosthesis.

The Editorial Board of EJNMMI Radiopharmacy and Chemistry releases a biyearly highlight commentary to describe trends in the field.

This commentary of highlights has resulted in 19 different topics selected by each member of the Editorial Board addressing a variety of aspects ranging from novel radiochemistry to first in man application of novel radiopharmaceuticals.

Trends in radiochemistry and radiopharmacy are highlighted demonstrating the progress in the research field being the scope of EJNMMI Radiopharmacy and Chemistry.

The first study found a correspondence between retrieval time for a small set of color names, hand movements accompanying speech, and features of language content and style, such as use of particular pronouns and direct quotes. find more The second study supported these results using an early version of the Referential Activity (RA) scales, as well as a task of generating labels for subtly differing stimuli where labels had not been provided. Another study provided a close examination of the relation of hand and body movements to the functions of the RP. The current forms of the RA scales, Concreteness, Specificity, Clarity, and Imagery, which serve as the basis for the computerized measures of the Symbolizing function, were developed based on those early studies. Recent research on the RP, some of which will be presented in this issue, has focused primarily on the Symbolizing function as a state rather than trait dimension, and has examined factors affecting variation in this function. The early research also serves as a basis for empirical study of the other functions of the RP. Through interactive development of measures and theory, in experimental and clinical settings, the constructs of the multiple code theory and the RP continue to be refined and redefined. The large yellow croaker is one of the largest marine economic fish in China with the farming yield about 30 tons per year. The genetic selection for growth and disease resistance has been performed in recent years. The identification of trait-associated molecular makers, causative variants, and causative genes is helpful for genetic selection in large yellow croaker. It has been discovered that most of polygenic traits are controlled with multiple genes via regulatory variant, and GWAS-identified loci are enriched in the regulatory variant. Cis-acting eQTL is a widespread regulatory variant that controls the expression of nearby gene. We herein take advantage of RNA-seq and whole genome sequencing technique to identify genome-wide eQTLs in liver tissue for large yellow croaker; a forward selection routine is applied for identification of multiple eQTLs. To fine map causative mutation for each eQTL, a credible set is built to confine causative variants. Totally, 2427 eQTLs have been identified, 69.7% (1,691/2,427) of them are primary eQTL signals, and the remaining are secondary signals, many functional important target genes have been discovered. We highlight several functional pivotal genes including SMC3, TUSC3, TITIN, MCPH1, and MDHC, in which the expression of MCPH1 is regulated by two eQTLs; the distance of these eQTLs from target genes is symmetrically distributed, 25.5% of them are within 1 Mb region from target genes, whereas 74.5% of them are between 1 and 2 Mb regions; most of the identified eQTL has been well resolved, and 19.3 (469/2427) of eQTL have the size of credible set (the number of variants in credible set) less than 50.Cu2SnS3, as a modified material for high-capacity tin-based anodes, has great potential for lithium-ion battery applications. The solvothermal method is simple, convenient, cost-effective, and easy to scale up, and has thus been widely used for the preparation of nanocrystals. In this work, Cu2SnS3 nanoparticles were prepared by the solvothermal method. The effects of high-temperature annealing on the morphology, crystal structure, and electrochemical performance of a Cu2SnS3 nano-anode were studied. The experimental results indicate that high-temperature annealing improves the electrochemical performance of Cu2SnS3, resulting in higher initial coulombic efficiency and improved cycling and rate characteristics compared with those of the as-prepared sample.

Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) are questionnaires that could be used in palliative care (PC) to evaluate patient well-being and monitor their care. PROMs enable a focus on what is important to patients by putting the patient at the center of care. Adapting an existing PROM requires considering cultural differences, general usability and understandability of translated terms.

To translate and culturally adapt both the patient and staff three and seven day versions of the Integrated Palliative care Outcome Scale (IPOS) into Estonian. The IPOS consist of 10 questions (staff versions 9 questions) and 17 close ended items. The sub aim is to describe the differences and discrepancies found during the adaptation process and compare the results with previous research.

The translation and adaptation process of IPOS was conducted using recommended guidelines consisting of six phases and included cognitive interviews with patients (n = 11) and palliative care multidisciplinary team members (n = 8). The study was conducted in two major Estonian hospitals.

The Estonian IPOS demonstrated face and content validity, acceptance by patients and staff. As a result of expert group review and cognitive interviews with patients and staff, 9 semantic changes were implemented.

Patient and staff versions of the IPOS with a recall of 3 or 7 days were translated and culturally adapted for Estonia. The Estonian IPOS four versions are ready for use in Estonia.
