The pooled prevalence of drug-related problems of patients who experienced at least one drug-related problem during their therapy was found to be 69.4% (95% confidence interval 61.5-77.4). The most frequently reported types of drug-related problems were "need for additional drug and "noncompliance," together accounting for more than half of the drug-related problems. The most frequently reported factors associated with drug-related problems were patients' age, polypharmacy, comorbidities and the number days of hospital stay. The prevalence of drug-related problems in Ethiopian public healthcare settings was found to be high. Inconsistent reporting of drug-related problems was observed across the studies. It is imperative to design and implement interventions aimed at reducing drug-related problems. Responsible stakeholders should adopt uniform drug-related problem classification approach to ensure uniform reporting of drug-related problems in Ethiopian healthcare settings.
This study aims to review the literature regarding epidural analgesia and related ethical issues among pregnant women.
The authors were searched many electronic databases (CHINAL, Ovid Midline, Pub MED and Google Scholar, Science Direct Database, Biomed) under the following keywords (Informed consent, epidural analgesia, pregnant women, and antenatal period). The several quantitative studies published in English were reviewed and analyzed. The authors were analyzed the studies using a literature review matrix subheading to author, years published, type of study, variables, design and methodology, finding, conclusion, limitations for practices and limitations for studies.
The themes that emerged from the literature review were difference between patient and provider in perceptions of informed consent toward EA during childbirth process; factors affecting the women choice of using EA during childbirth process and awareness regarding using of EA in childbirth among women in antenatal clinics.
The process of signing of informed consent for EA in women during childbirth is linked to many ethical responsibilities from women and healthcare providers. The informed consent practice can be enhanced by putting greater emphasis on antenatal information, providing suitable timing of information and developments in recent methods of information release and transfer.

The parotid gland is a very rare location of Ewing's sarcoma. Blasticidin S solubility dmso Its clinical and radiological manifestations are atypical. Its management is based on a multidisciplinary approach to improve prognosis and survival.
The diagnosis of parotid Ewing's sarcoma is determined by a combination of genetic and histological criteria. Its local aggressiveness and high metastatic potential require prompt and appropriate management. Many prognostic features affect its management, the most important is the TNM staging.
Limited cases of parotid Ewing's sarcoma have been published in the literature. This small number of reported cases is the only way to study its characteristics.

TB usually infects the lungs, but it can affect other organs. Hepatic involvement usually occurs with disseminated disease whereas isolated hepatic involvement is extremely rare. Case presentation We present a case of a female patient who had to undergo major hepatic surgery due to delayed diagnosis of hepatic TB. It suffered from recurrent abdominal abscesses and general symptoms for a period of time. clinical Discussion Medical therapy is the treatment of choice and surgery is justified only in specific cases. Surgical intervention may range from less complicated procedures as local excision, abscess drainage or biliary drainage to more complicated and major surgeries such as liver segmentectomy and hemihepatectomy. conclusion Although rare, physicians should suspect and diagnose early, to give the patient the best chance to benefit from medical therapy and avoid the need for surgical intervention.
Obstetric morbidities represent a common hallmark manifestation of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), with the recurrent loss of pregnancy as the main complication. The presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (APA) and its potential impact have not been established yet in infertile women seeking assisted reproduction technologies in Syria. This study aims to determine the prevalence of anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and lupus anticoagulation (LAC) and their association with age and the In vitro fertilization (IVF) outcomes in a large sample of Syrian women.
The electronic patients' records were screened and relevant data extraction was performed retrospectively. The study included 876 women who had IVF between January 2012 and January 2020 in a tertiary care hospital.
The prevalence of APA among the included women was less than 1%. Only 5 patients had positive APA. No correlation was found between the APA levels and age. Additionally, the APA did not have an impact on neither the IVF outcomes nor the number of IVF cycles.
the added value of APS antibodies' screening could be considered very modest when compared to its financial burden on patients since it has a very low prevalence in women having IVF.

and Importance Adult Pilocytic Astrocytomas (APA) are infrequent low grade tumors. While supratentorial APA is considered rare, insular APA is extremely rare.
We present a case of pure insular APA along with surgical outcomes. Tractography and functional MRI were obtained pre-operatively. The patient underwent neuro-navigation guided microsurgical resection with sub-cortical white matter mapping, utilizing Intra-operative MRI guidance. The Sylvain fissure was opened to secure the M3 branches, and near total resection was achieved.
APA in the insula is a very rare presentation and is considered challenging. Its proximity to the middle cerebral and lenticulostriate arteries, motor areas, and language areas makes accessing and resecting the tumor challenging. A multidisciplinary approach by an experienced team is needed to plan the management of young adult patients and reach the best outcomes.
Implementing microsurgical techniques, modern imaging modalities and intraoperative mapping helps to achieve maximal safe resection without risking functions.
