43±98.56 and 2 263.13±145.63, respectively, higher than 914.70±100.77 and 1 821.34±84.68 in the CR group (both P less then 0.05). Cox regression analysis showed that elevated C1QA signal value was associated with poor progression-free survival (PFS) and poor overall survival (OS) (PFS HR=2.063, 95%CI 1.220-3.489, P=0.007; OS HR=2.23, 95%CI 1.036~4.798, P=0.040). After IPI correction by Cox multivariate model, the elevated C1QA signal value was still correlated with poor PFS (HR=1.765, 95%CI 1.034~3.013, P=0.037). Conclusions The baseline plasma levels of C1QA and CR1L are correlated with IPI scores and therapeutic effects of DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP. The baseline plasma level of C1QA has a certain predictive value for the prognostic evaluation of DLBCL.Objective To explore the application value of the conditional disease-free survival (cDFS) analysis in predicting prognosis of stage-specific rectal cancer patients underwent neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT). Methods Clinicopathologic data of 436 patients with rectal cancer received nCRT and radical operation in Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences between January 2004 and December 2016 were retrospectively reviewed. With reference to conditional probability, the 3-year cDFS of patients at different ypTNM stage after completion of nCRT was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results There were 66 patients of ypTNM stage 0 (pathological complete response), 87 patients of ypTNM stage Ⅰ, 135 patients of ypTNM stage Ⅱ and 148 patients of ypTNM stage Ⅲ. The 3-year accumulated DFS of patients with ypTNM stage 0, ypTNM stage Ⅰ, ypTNM stage Ⅱ, and ypTNM stage Ⅲ were 97.0%, 93.1%, 85.2%, and 64.2%, respectively. On the condition of postoperactive disease-free survival for 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years, the corresponding 3-year cDFS of patients at ypTNM stage 0 were 97.0%, 95.5%, 96.9%, 98.4%, 100.0%, respectively. The corresponding 3-year cDFS of patients at ypTNM Ⅲ were 68.2%, 79.3%, 86.3%, 92.1%, 96.4%, respectively. The more advanced ypTNM staging resulted in the more improvement of 3-year cDFS being acquired. Conclusion cDFS is a better method to reflect the dynamic changes of the prognosis of rectal cancer patients with nCRT in different ypTNM stage, and it is useful to guide the clinicians to assess the prognosis and propose appropriate surveillance. Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of cytoreductive surgery plus hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS+ HIPEC) in patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis from colorectal carcinoma (CRC PC). Methods The clinical and follow-up data of 90 consecutive CRC PC patients underwent CRS+ HIPEC in Beijing Shijitan Hospital from January 2015 to June 2018 were collected. Kaplan-Meier method and parallel Log rank test were used for survival analysis. Cox regression model was used for univariate and multivariate analysis. Results A total of 90 CRC PC patients underwent CRS+ HIPEC, the median age was 53 years (rage 13 to 81 years), and 51 cases were male, while other 39 were female. The median overall survival (mOS) was 21.9 months (95%CI 15.7, 28.1). The 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-year survival rates were 77.8%, 48.6%, 21.1%, and 5.5%, respectively. The incidence rate of serious adverse event (SAE) was 8.9% (8/90). The mortality rate of perioperative period was 2.2% (2/90). Univariate analysis showed the age (P=0.040), primary tumor site (P=0.020), preoperative carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) level (P less then 0.001), peritoneal cancer index (PCI) (P less then 0.001), completeness of cytoreduction (CC) (P less then 0.001), ascites (P=0.012) and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy (P less then 0.001) were significantly associated with the OS. Multivariate Cox-analysis identified preoperative CA125 level(P=0.033), CC of 0 to 1 (P=0.014), and adjuvant chemotherapy postoperative (P=0.002) were independent prognostic factor for OS. Conclusions CRS+ HIPEC can improve survival for CRC PC patients with acceptable morbidity and mortality. Stringent patient selection and complete CRS are two key factors for better survival. Objective To investigate whether cachexia affects the treatment effect of immune checkpoint inhibitors for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods The prognosis of 62 patients with advanced NSCLC who received anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) in Henan Provincial People's Hospital from 2019 to 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The cachexia was evaluated before and after the second course of immunotherapy. Kaplan-Meier and Log rank methods were used for survival analysis, Cox regression model was used for multivariate analysis, and Spearman's correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis. Results After the second course of immunotherapy, psoas major muscle area (PMMA) values of the cachexia group and the control group were (14.10±4.09) and (11.66±3.22) cm(2) respectively, with statistics significance (P=0.001). The level of Prealbumin and body weight were correlated with cachexia (P less then 0.05). The 6-month and 1-year survival rates of 62 cases in the whole group were 58.6% and 42.5%, respeitor therapy. Objective To explore and describe clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients with double primary breast cancer (BC) and thyroid cancer (TC). Methods Medical records of 98 patients diagnosed with double primary breast and thyroid cancer in National Cancer Center (NCC)/Cancer Hospital between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2020 were retrospectively collected. All of the patients were followed up until January 1, 2021 to acquire survival data. Univariate survival analysis was conducted by Kaplan-Meier method, and multivariate survival analysis was carried out using the Cox proportional hazard model. selleck chemicals llc Results All of 98 patients in the group were women. The age at diagnosis of the first tumor ranged from 26-72 years old, and the median age was 47 years old. The BC recurring TC (breast methyl) group included 18 cases, TC recurring BC (methyl breast) group included 60 cases, BC and TC simultaneously occurred group (the two are diagnosed within 3 months) included 20 cases. There were statistically significant differences in breast cancer pathological grading, breast cancer postoperative radiotherapy, and combined with other tumors in breast methyl group, methyl breast group and the simultaneous group (P0.05). Univariate analysis showed that BC stage and estrogen receptor (ER) were related to overall survival (P less then 0.05), while the family history of BC, BC stage, and ER were not related with the recurrence and metastasis (P less then 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that BC family history, ER positive, and the order of tumor diagnosis (TC recurring BC) were independent influencing factors for the recurrence and metastasis (P less then 0.05). Conclusion ER negative is a poor prognostic factor for the double primary breast and thyroid cancer. Objective To compare the acceptance of urine self-sampling, vaginal self-sampling and physician sampling in cervical cancer screening. Urine self-sampling is much easier than vaginal self-sampling.Objective To investigate the prognostic value of (18)F-fluorodeoxygen-D-glucose-positron emission tomography /computerized tomography ((18)F-FDG-PET-CT) in Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) at the end of first-line treatment (PET-end), by comparing the ratio of maximum standardized uptake value (SUV(max)) of lesion and liver SUV (rLL), SUV(max) reduction between baseline PET (PET-0) and PET-end (ΔSUV(max)), and Deauville 5-point scale (5-PS). Methods Patients with HL newly treated in our hospital from August 2006 to December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. All the patients enrolled in the study underwent post-treatment FDG PET-CT. The rLL and ΔSUV(max) were calculated, and all the cases were scored using Deauville 5-PS. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) approach was applied to identify the optimal cut-point value, and survival curves according to different PET-CT assessment methods were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier analysis. The prognostic efficacy of different PET-CT assessment methods was compared, mprove prognostic evaluation accuracy of PET-CT and is useful to early identify patients with HL at a high risk of relapsing after first-line treatment. Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and outcome of hydronephrosis associated with advanced or metastatic colorectal carcinoma. Methods Clinical data of 311 patients with locally advanced or metastatic colorectal carcinoma between June 2017 and March 2020 in National Cancer Center/National Clinical Research Center for Cancer/Cancer Hospital & Shenzhen Hospital were retrospectively collected. Thirty-nine patients with hydronephrosis diagnosed by CT scan were analyzed. Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival analysis, Log rank method was used for comparison of survival between the two groups with or without hydronephrosis, and univariate and multivariate analyses was performed by Cox proportional risk regression model. Results The incidence rate of malignant hydronephrosis associated with metastatic colorectal carcinoma was 12.5% (39/311), 26 were male, and 13 were female. The median age was 43 years (23-74 years). Among the 39 patients, 29 had unilateral hydronephrosis and 10 had bilateral hydronephrosis. Eleven patients with hydronephrosis at the initiate diagnosis, 28 patients with hydronephrosis at relapse or advanced course, and the median time to hydronephrosis was 17 months (4-62 months). The disease control rate (DCR, 77.8% and 84.6%, respectively) and progression free survival (PFS were 6 and 7 months) were not significantly different between patients with hydronephrosis and without hydronephrosis received the first-line chemotherapy (P>0.05). The median overall survival (OS) after presence of hydronephrosis was 26 months (95%CI 8.3, 43.7). Multivariate analyses showed that the blood vessel invasion (LVSI) was an independent risk factor for OS (P less then 0.05). Conclusions Malignant hydronephrosis had no effect on the efficacy of the first-line chemotherapy and PFS of patients with colorectal carcinoma received the first-line chemotherapy. LVSI was the independent prognostic factor for OS of patients with malignant hydronephrosis. Objective To investigate the effect of apoptosis-associated protein kinase-like 1 (DAPL1) hypomethylation on prognosis of lung cancer patients with epidermal growth factor receptor gene exon 19 deletion (EGFR Del19) mutation. Methods The clinicopathological data of lung cancer patients in databases of genomic data sharing (GDC) TCGA lung adenocarcinoma, TCGA lung adenocarcinoma, and TCGA lung cancer were collected to analyze the effect of DAPL1 methylation level on the prognosis of patients with EGFR Del19 mutation. Linear regression model was used for correlation analysis, Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw the survival curve, and the difference of survival curve between the two groups was tested by Log rank. Results In GDC TCGA lung adenocarcinoma, TCGA lung adenocarcinoma and TCGA lung cancer databases, the 5-year survival rates of lung cancer patients with high DAPL1 expression (31.9%, 27.5% and 33.0%, respectively) were higher than those with low DAPL1 expression (11.0%, 11.6% and 13.8%, respectively).
