Pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm (PAP) is a rare vascular phenomenon with a high mortality rate, as these entities can enlarge, rupture, and lead to asphyxiation. Pulmonary mucormycosis (PM), an underdiagnosed but an increasingly seen entity in the era of chemotherapy and immunosuppression, is a known cause of PAP, and should be suspected in immunosuppressed patients with hemoptysis. We present a case of PAP due to PM in a patient with recently diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the liver who underwent chemotherapy and developed acute cavitary lung disease and hemoptysis. His diagnosis was delayed due to the withholding of iodinated contrast with computer tomography (CT) imaging in the setting of renal failure. He then underwent embolization of his PAP with resolution of his hemoptysis. PAP is an uncommon cause of hemoptysis that can be diagnosed with CT pulmonary angiography, and mucormycosis is a known but rare cause of PAP in patients with malignancy receiving immunosuppression.

Percutaneous renal biopsy (PRB) plays a critical role in the work-up of renal parenchymal disease. Although it is considered a low-risk procedure, additional interventions may be required in about 7% of the cases following biopsy. The purpose of this study was to identify risk factors for major hemorrhage by microscopic analysis of the cores obtained following PRB, with an intent to enhance the sensitivity and specificity of the risk stratification process, especially in patients undergoing this procedure in an outpatient setting.

Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis (IGM) is a rare inflammatory disease of the breast, which is benign but potentially morbid. Mammographic and sonographic findings have been well characterized, but magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings have been less thoroughly documented. The objective of this study was to demonstrate characteristic findings for IGM and its mimics via a retrospective review.

Breast MRI examinations performed at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, India between 2014 and 2019 were retrospectively reviewed to identify cases in which a pattern suggestive of granulomatous mastitis was seen. Cases of known malignancy were excluded. Any available breast pathology results were then obtained, and cases with presumptive or definitive diagnoses were compiled for analysis.

Overall, cases identified with characteristic imaging findings and confirmed diagnosis included seven cases of IGM, four cases of invasive ductal carcinoma, two cases of tuberculous mastitis, one case of non- tuberculous infectious mastitis, one case of foreign body mastitis, and one case of eosinophilc mastitis. One case of IGM with masses rather than of non-mass enhancement was also identified.

In our review, cases with clustered ring enhancement were found to have inflammatory, idiopathic, infectious and malignant etiologies. Urethral recurrence (UR) clinically manifests as a penile mass or a bloody or purulent penile discharge at a median of 13 months after surgery. And on imaging studies, it characteristically appears as a focal intraluminal mass, urethral wall thickening, or an infiltrating mass arising from the urethra. We, herein, present an unusual case of UR manifesting as a large cyst in the penile root 4 years after radical cystectomy with urinary diversion for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Further, a complex cystic mass developed in the same location 2 years after the excision of the cystic UR. This case shows that the imaging spectrum of UR after radical cystectomy may be wider and may include cystic and complex patterns.

Spinal dermoid cysts are benign tumors that result from congenital or acquired ectodermal inclusions. Long segment intramedullary involvement of the spinal cord is exceedingly rare, and there are only a handful of case reports found in the literature.

A 30-year-old female presented with a 3-month history of myelopathy characterized by progressive quadriparesis and urinary incontinence. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed multifocal heterogeneous intramedullary masses extending from C2 to T4 and at T12-L1 with similar intensity lesions seen within the central cord from T5 to T11 level. Following tumor decompression, she showed significant improvement in neurological function 1 month later. The histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a multifocal intramedullary dermoid cyst.
