The full-genome sequences of strains chicken/Indonesia/Cilebut/010WJ/2015 and chicken/Indonesia/ITA/012WJ/1951, isolated in West Java, Indonesia, in 2015 and 1951, respectively, were examined. Chicken/Indonesia/Cilebut/010WJ/2015 (genotype VII) caused a 2015 disease outbreak in Indonesia, and chicken/Indonesia/ITA/012WJ/1951 (genotype VI) is used as a standard strain for challenge in Newcastle disease virus (NDV) vaccine trials.Lymphatic filariasis affects ∼120 million people and can result in elephantiasis and hydrocele. Here, we report the nearly complete genome sequence of the best-studied causative agent of lymphatic filariasis, Brugia malayi The assembly contains four autosomes, an X chromosome, and only eight gaps but lacks a contiguous sequence for the known Y chromosome.Salmonella enterica with antigenic formula 4,[5],12i- is a monophasic variant of S. enterica serovar Typhimurium that has emerged globally as a human pathogen over the last 3 decades. We describe the closed genomes and plasmids from six S. enterica 4,[5],12i- isolates recovered from stool samples obtained during investigation of human food poisoning cases reported to PulseNet Canada that are suitable for use as reference strains.Scenedesmus acuminatus, also known as Tetradesmus acuminatus, is a promising green microalga for sustainable production of microalga products, including valuable compounds such as astaxanthin, β-carotene, and lutein, polysaccharides such as β-glucan, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Here, we report the draft whole-genome sequence of Scenedesmus acuminatus SAG 38.81.The complete genome sequence of a novel coronavirus (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 [SARS-CoV-2]) isolate obtained from a nasopharyngeal swab from a patient with COVID-19 in Bangladesh is reported.Longimicrobium terrae CB-286315T, the first member of the family Longimicrobiaceae, was isolated at the Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park, Spain, using a diffusion sandwich system (DSS). We present the draft genome sequence of this strain, which comprised 6,886,230 bp. A total of 12 putative biosynthetic gene clusters were predicted, including ribosomally synthesized and posttranslationally modified peptides (RiPPs), polyketides, and nonribosomal peptides. In the present work, we report the complete genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis DKU_NT_04, isolated from cheonggukjang, which is a traditional Korean fermented soybean paste. The final genome assembly consists of a 4.328-Mbp chromosome with 4,134 coding sequences and a G+C content of 45.21%.Streptococcus mutans is known to produce various antimicrobial peptides called mutacins. Two clinical isolates, T8 and UA140, are well characterized regarding their mutacin production, but genome sequence information was previously unavailable. Complete genome sequences of these two mutacin-producing strains are reported here.Human respirovirus 1 is a single-stranded, negative-sense RNA virus in the family Paramyxoviridae Using a high-throughput metagenomic approach, we identified and sequenced the coding-complete genome of a human respirovirus 1 strain from a nasal pharyngeal swab sample from a local health clinic in Tempe, Arizona. We report the complete genome sequencing of human papillomavirus 71 from Latin America (Brazil).Bacillus velezensis strain E68 is a biosurfactant-producing bacterium isolated from an oil battery near Chauvin, Alberta, Canada. Strain E68 exhibited antimicrobial activity against fungal pathogens and could potentially serve as a biological control agent. Its genome was sequenced and annotated, revealing the presence of multiple lipopeptide biosynthetic gene clusters. Two laboratory strains of the red alga Cyanidioschyzon merolae 10D were resequenced. We found some strain differences in the nuclear and chloroplast genomes. We also identified corrections of the mitochondrial genome sequence. The thermophilic microorganism Geobacillus thermoleovorans ARTRW1 was isolated from water samples collected in the Armutlu hot spring in Turkey. selleck products Here, the whole-genome sequence and its annotations are reported. Here, we present a 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequence data set and profiles demonstrating the bacterial diversity of baby and adult elephants from four different geographical locations in Thailand. The dominant phyla among baby and adult elephants were Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Kiritimatiellaeota, Euryarchaeota, and Tenericutes. Objective Compared with 3D-planned pelvic radiation, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) has been shown to reduce acute toxicity in cervical cancer patients after radical hysterectomy. This study evaluated late toxicity and patterns of failure after post-operative pelvic IMRT interdigitated weekly with high dose rate brachytherapy. Methods This retrospective study included 53 cervical cancer patients treated between January 2006 and August 2019 with radical hysterectomy, lymphadenectomy, and post-operative IMRT and high dose rate brachytherapy. The decision to include chemotherapy was made by the treating gynecologic oncologist based on patient-specific criteria including positive pelvic lymph nodes, positive surgical margins, or positive parametrial invasion. The actuarial rates of genitourinary and gastrointestinal toxicity, vaginal cuff/regional nodal/distant failure, and overall survival were calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results Median follow-up was 70 months (range 5.4-148) months aherapy for patients with cervical cancer is associated with excellent outcomes and limited rates of radiation-related non-hematologic toxicity. Objective Programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression affects tumor evasion of immune surveillance. The prognostic value and relationship of PD-L1 expression to T-cell-inflamed immune signatures in ovarian cancer are unclear. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of PD-L1 on overall survival and its correlation with an immune-mediated gene expression profile in patients with advanced ovarian cancer. Methods PD-L1 expression in tumor and immune cells was assessed by immunohistochemistry, and PD-L1-positive expression was defined as a combined positive score ≥1; a T-cell-inflamed gene expression profile containing interferon γ response genes was evaluated using extracted RNA from surgical samples. Associations between PD-L1 expression, gene expression profile status, and overall survival were analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method, log-rank test, and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models. Results A total of 376 patients with advanced epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer treated by cytoreductive surgery and platinum-based therapy were included.
