A standardized report for the diagnosis of pituitary tumors, integrating all these parameters, has been proposed by the European Pituitary Pathology Group (EPPG). In 2020, the pituitary pathologist must be considered as a member of the multidisciplinary pituitary team. The pathological diagnosis may help the clinician to adapt the post-operative management, including appropriate follow-up and early recognition and treatment of potentially aggressive forms.Studying an acetone sensor with prominent sensitivity and selectivity is of great significance for the development of portable diabetes monitoring system. In this paper, cubic-like NiO/ZnO composites with different contents of Ni2+ were successfully synthesized by modifying MOF-5 with Ni2+-doped. The structure and morphology of the prepared composites were characterized by XRD, XPS, and SEM. The experimental results show that the NiO/ZnO composite showed an enhanced gas sensing property to acetone compared to pure ZnO, and the composites showed the maximum response value when Ni2+ loading amount was 5 at%. The response value of the 5% NiO/ZnO composite to acetone (500 ppm) at the optimum operating temperature (340 °C) is 7.3 times as that of pure ZnO. At the same time, the 5% NiO/ZnO composite has excellent selectivity and reproducibility for acetone. The gas sensing mechanism of the heterojunction sensor was described. In recent years, advanced materials have attracted considerable interest in the field of temperature detection and sensing. This study examined the thermochromic properties of inorganic manganese violet (MV) with increasing temperature. According to the thermochromic test, the material was found to have reversible and irreversible color change properties. The MV pigment was then applied to cementitious material at ratios of 1%, 3%, and 5%. The mixed cement samples with MV pigment were heated in a furnace, and digital images were captured at each temperature interval to evaluate the changes in the color information on the surface of the specimen. The mixed samples exhibited an irreversible thermochromic change from dark violet to grayish green above 400 °C. At the critical temperature of 440 °C, the RGB values increased by approximately 22%-55%, 28%-68%, and 7%-25%, depending on the content of MV pigment. In Lab space, the L value increased by approximately 23%-60% at 440 °C. The a value completely changed from positive to negative, and the b value changed from negative to positive. All the values differed according to the content of MV pigment at room temperature but approached similar ranges at the critical temperature, irrespective of the amount of MV pigment. To assess the changes in their microstructure and composition, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were performed on the samples exposed to temperatures ranging from room temperature to 450 °C.This article discusses laser-induced laboratory-air plasma measurements and analysis of hydroxyl (OH) ultraviolet spectra. The computations of the OH spectra utilize line strength data that were developed previously and that are now communicated for the first time. The line strengths have been utilized extensively in interpretation of recorded molecular emission spectra and have been well-tested in laser-induced fluorescence applications for the purpose of temperature inferences from recorded data. Moreover, new experiments with Q-switched laser pulses illustrate occurrence of molecular recombination spectra for time delays of the order of several dozen of microseconds after plasma initiation. The OH signals occur due to the natural humidity in laboratory air. Deutivacaftor Centrifugal stretching of the Franck-Condon factors and r-centroids are included in the process of determining the line strengths that are communicated as a Supplementary File. Laser spectroscopy applications of detailed OH computations include laser-induced plasma and combustion analyses, to name but two applications. This work also includes literature references that address various diagnosis applications.A method for the simultaneous determination of robenidine, halofuginone, lasalocid, monensin, nigericin, salinomycin, narasin, and maduramicin residues in eggs by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed. The sample preparation method used a combination of liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and solid-phase extraction (SPE) technology to extract and purify these target compounds from eggs. The target compounds were separated by gradient elution using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC). Tandem mass spectrometry was used to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the target compounds via electrospray ionization (ESI+) and multiple reaction monitoring mode. The HPLC-MS/MS and UPLC-MS/MS methods were validated according to the requirements defined by the European Union and the Food and Drug Administration. The limits of detection and limits of quantification of the eight coccidiostats in eggs were 0.23-0.52 µg/kg and 0.82-1.73 µg/kg for HPLC-MS/MS, and 0.16-0.42 µg/kg and 0.81-1.25 µg/kg for UPLC-MS/MS, respectively. The eggs were spiked with four concentrations of the eight coccidiostats, and the HPLC-MS/MS and UPLC-MS/MS average recoveries were all higher than 71.69% and 72.26%, respectively. Compared with the HPLC-MS/MS method, utilizing UPLC-MS/MS had the advantages of low reagent consumption, a short detection time, and high recovery and precision. Finally, the HPLC-MS/MS and UPLC-MS/MS methods were successfully applied to detect eight coccidiostats in 40 eggs.Seventeen novel 2-(5-amino-1-(substituted sulfonyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)-6- isopropyl-4,4-dimethyl-3,4-dihydronaphthalen-1(2H)-one compounds were synthesized from the abundant and naturally renewable longifolene and their structures were confirmed by FT-IR, NMR, and ESI-MS. The in vitro cytotoxicity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated by standard MTT assay against five human cancer cell lines, i.e., T-24, MCF-7, HepG2, A549, and HT-29. As a result, compounds 6d, 6g, and 6h exhibited better and more broad-spectrum anticancer activity against almost all the tested cancer cell lines than that of the positive control, 5-FU. Some intriguing structure-activity relationships were found and are discussed herein by theoretical calculation.
