The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of mobile health technology such as private social network (PCOS system) in creating awareness about the disease management among the women diagnosed with the polycystic ovarian syndrome.

A pilot study was conducted in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The study was carried out for a period of three months using a private social network as an intervention. The private social network is used as an interface to educate and create awareness among the participants in the study. Fifty women diagnosed with PCOS were randomly selected and were distributed in to control group (doesn't use PCOS system) and intervention group (use the private social network). The level of the polycystic ovarian syndrome awareness was measured using a structured questionnaire at the beginning and end of the follow-up period.

More than 80 posts and 10 pictures contain data about PCOS were conveyed by medical staff. Also, about 120 private SMS messages between medical staff and the patien the disease management process is handled over the application through the messages and feedbacks is provided through the application, and in saving time by avoiding hospital visits. This study is first-of-its kind conducted in Saudi Arabia. The diagnosis and treatment for multiple primary cancers have been a great challenge in clinical practice. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is tumor-derived fragmented DNA that circulates in the blood. Herein we report a case that ctDNA facilitated the diagnosis of synchronous urothelial carcinoma (UC) and lung adenocarcinoma. A 58-year-old male patient was diagnosed with UC initially. Computed tomography (CT) revealed multiple metastases without the brain after surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy. However, the patient had a progressively worsened headache symbol during system therapy. We explored the genome variations using next-generation sequencing (NGS). HRAS and TP53 mutations were detected from UC surgical tissue and postoperative ctDNA. Unexpectedly, the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletion (19del) mutation, which is common in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), was also identified in ctDNA. Pathological analysis of a neck lymph node confirmed adenocarcinoma derived from the lung. Meanwhile, EGFR 19del was detected in neck lymph node biopsy. The ctDNA contained both UC and lung adenocarcinoma-derived mutations. Thus, the diagnosis was modified into synchronous UC and lung adenocarcinoma. Interestingly, the lung adenocarcinoma-derived lesions responded well to osimertinib (80mg, once daily), while the UC did not. NVP-LAQ824 His headache rapidly subsided and disappeared. This case demonstrates that ctDNA analysis may better capture the molecular heterogeneity harbored by multiple primary tumors in a patient and can facilitate the diagnosis and therapy of patients with simultaneous cancers.Desmoid-type fibromatosis (DF), also known as deep fibromatosis or desmoid tumor, is an extremely rare neoplasm that develops from fascia and musculoaponeurotic tissue. These tumors are characterized by slow progressive growth, local invasion, and local recurrence after surgical excision, but they lack metastatic potential. DF accounts for 3.5% of all fibrous tumors, with an annual incidence of approximately 2-4/million. Until now, only a small number of cases have been found in the chest wall. Herein, we present a rare case of chest wall DF in a 43-year-old female, which was discovered accidentally due to a thoracic wall mass that extended outward from the sternum. Computed tomography scans revealed a subcutaneous soft tissue mass anterior to the sternum, which was considered to be a mesenchymal tumor or an inflammatory lesion. The patient underwent surgical excision of the mass. The mass was completely removed and all margins were negative. According to the pathological results, the patient was finally diagnosed as DF. Postoperative radiotherapy was suggested subsequently, especially considering the locally aggressive and infiltrative nature of the tumor. However, this was rejected by the patient, and biannual re-examination was recommended instead. Despite the absence of postoperative radiotherapy, there was no evidence of local recurrence 2 years later. We consider regular postoperative follow-up may be able to replace postoperative radiotherapy, and if there exist an opportunity to completely resect the mass, surgical is a worthwhile choice.

The related research of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic on the mental health of community residents is still lacking. Here we reported the mental health status of Chinese residents as well as the community's prevention and control during the pandemic period of COVID-19 and further explored the influencing factors of mental status.

In this cross-sectional study, convenience sampling and snowball sampling methods were adopted from February 16 to February 23, 2020, and Chinese community residents were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Three questionnaires, including General Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9), and a self-designed "Community prevention and control questionnaire", were used. A multivariate linear regression analysis was conducted to analyze the impact factors of anxiety and depression.

A total of 3,001 community residents were included in this study. In total, 85.6% and 83.7% of participants had minimal anxiety and depressllowing the government's regulations and policy, which plays a vital role in the control of COVID-19 and improving residents' anxiety and depression.

The vast majority of Chinese residents have little anxiety and depression, and most communities have adopted standardized control measures following the government's regulations and policy, which plays a vital role in the control of COVID-19 and improving residents' anxiety and depression.

Adriamycin is an anthracycline drug used to treat a variety of tumors. Adriamycin has a much stronger affinity for myocardial tissue than other body tissues. Cancer patients treated with adriamycin are prone to toxic damage to heart tissue. Peroxiredoxin 6 (PRDX6) is a novel antioxidant enzyme in metabolic diseases, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of PRDX6 in myocardial injury.

Sixty male specific-pathogen-free Wistar rats were enrolled and divided equally into the control group (control), the Adriamycin group, the Adriamycin + empty vector lentivirus (Adriamycin + LV) group, and the Adriamycin + Peroxiredoxin 6 overexpression (Adriamycin + PRDX6) group. Western blot, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, hematoxylin and eosin staining (HE) and immunohistochemistry were used in this research.

The myocardial tissues of the Adriamycin group had significantly lower expression levels of PRDX6 and PRDX6 mRNA than those of the control group, and the myocardial tissues of the Adriamycin + PRDX6 rats had significantly higher expression levels of PRDX6 and PRDX6 mRNA than those of the Adriamycin + LV group.
