His father, Elder T.E Oyakhilome of Benin City was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies. His son Pastor Chris, was truly inspired by his father. Being raised in a Christian home is an amazing blessing.

Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon has become a rising gospel superstar. She was influenced by her father's teachings , and has composed the Grammy-nominated song "Holy Spirit" as a testament to her deep Christian dedication. She is an inspiring leader for the Global Youth Leaders Forum and hosts a variety of shows on its online channels.
