Hi! I’m Debz, a plus size blogger living in Hampshire, and I’m so excited to share my love for fashion, body positivity, and a little bit of everyday life with you. Here on The (Not So) Secret Diary of a Wannabe Princess, I write about everything from the latest trends in plus size fashion to the importance of self-love, and yes, I often sprinkle in tales of life with my boyfriend, our two adorable cats, and Derek, our mischievous Chinese crested dog!

As a plus size woman, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate the fashion world. But I also know how incredibly empowering it is when you find the perfect outfit that makes you feel like the queen you are. For the last five years, I’ve been on a mission to show the world that fashion is for everyone, regardless of size. So, whether you're here to find outfit inspiration, learn about body positivity, or just share in my adventures, welcome to my little corner of the web!

Breaking the Fashion Stereotype: Plus Size Fashion is for Everyone

For too long, fashion has been centered around one specific body type, but let me tell you—plus size fashion is having its moment, and it's about time! As a plus size blogger, I’ve seen brands slowly but surely realizing the importance of catering to all shapes and sizes. Fashion is a form of self-expression, and every body deserves to wear clothes that make them feel fabulous.

When I started out as a plus size blogger, there weren’t many options for women like me. It was frustrating to feel like I was being left out of an industry that I love so much. But things are changing, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible brands, like Scarlett & Jo, who are committed to creating beautiful, high-quality clothing for plus size women. Getting featured on their flyers and website was such a huge moment for me as it reinforced why representation matters.

My Life in Hampshire: The Heart of My Plus Size Journey

Living in Hampshire is a huge part of who I am. The town is peaceful, the countryside is stunning, and it’s the perfect backdrop for all the staycations I love so much. Whether I’m taking Derek on a walk through the beautiful hills or enjoying a weekend away exploring quaint local villages, I feel so lucky to live in this part of the world.

But beyond the beauty of Hampshire, it's the people here that have been incredibly supportive of my journey as a plus size blogger. Whether I'm collaborating with local plus size fashion brands or attending events in the area, the community here has embraced me and my mission to promote body positivity. There’s something really special about being a plus size blogger in Hampshire, where I’m able to connect with so many women who share my love for fashion and self-love.

Representation Matters: My Role as a Plus Size Blogger

One of the most important aspects of my blog is promoting visibility and representation for plus size bodies. Over the years, I've seen firsthand how limited representation has affected people's self-esteem, including my own. It’s something I’ve worked hard to change by collaborating with fashion brands, speaking out on social media, and participating in campaigns that shine a light on body diversity.

A few years ago, I headed up the #WeAreTheWay campaign—a movement that was all about showing the world that our bodies are worthy of love, appreciation, and attention, no matter the size. This campaign gained a lot of attention, and to this day, it remains one of my proudest moments as a plus size blogger. It was incredible to see women from all walks of life come together and share their stories about body positivity. The campaign reaffirmed something I’ve believed all along—representation matters. Seeing plus plus size hampshire in the media, in fashion campaigns, and on social platforms helps normalize all body types.

Loving Fashion at Every Size

Let’s talk about plus size fashion for a moment. I’m a firm believer that clothes should make you feel powerful, beautiful, and confident, no matter your size. Over the years, I've learned that fashion isn't about fitting into a mold—it's about breaking free and dressing in a way that makes you feel unstoppable.

One of my favorite things to do is shop for mystery boxes and discover new and unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. It's always so exciting to unwrap the unknown, and the joy I feel when I find that perfect dress is unmatched. Trust me, I have more than a few "too many" pretty dresses, but hey, who’s counting?

Shopping for plus size fashion can be such an empowering experience when brands truly cater to your needs. From dresses that flatter your curves to trendy pieces that make you feel like a style icon, I’m here to show you that fashion has no size limit. If you’ve ever felt like you can’t find stylish clothes in your size, trust me, you’re not alone—but I’m here to remind you that you’re worth every piece of fabulous fashion the world has to offer.

Challenging Stereotypes, One Outfit at a Time

Being a plus size blogger has taught me that fashion isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling good too. There are so many stereotypes surrounding plus size women and fashion, and one of the biggest misconceptions is that we should "hide" our bodies or stick to dull, shapeless clothing. Well, I’m here to tell you that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Fashion is about celebrating who you are, and I believe in dressing in a way that shows off my personality. Whether I’m wearing a bold print, a flowy dress, or a pair of killer heels, my outfits are a reflection of my confidence and love for myself. And trust me, I’m not afraid to experiment with fashion. If I see something I love, I wear it—no matter what anyone says.

Wrapping Up

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey through plus size fashion, body positivity, and life in Hampshire. My blog, The (Not So) Secret Diary of a Wannabe Princess, is more than just a space to share my love of fashion—it’s a platform for celebrating all bodies and showing the world that beauty comes in every shape and size.

If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this post, it’s that you are worthy, your body is beautiful, and you deserve to wear clothes that make you feel amazing. So whether you're from Hampshire or anywhere else in the world, I hope you’ll join me in celebrating plus size fashion and showing that we are more than our dress size—we are fabulous!
