Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced with another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are many ways to acquire the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally item upgrading will require a certain quantity of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve a perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
