ent when regulating the emotional response to negative life events may be critical for the prevention and intervention of depression as well as sleep problems.Aim This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) plus anlotinib versus anlotinib alone to provide guidance for clinical treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer. Patients & methods The records of 139 patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer who received at least one dose of ICIs plus anlotinib (IA group) or single-agent anlotinib (AA group) were retrospectively reviewed. The efficacy of the treatments, survival outcomes and adverse events were analyzed. The primary end point was investigator-assessed progression-free survival (PFS). Result The IA group had a significantly prolonged median PFS (mPFS 5.8 vs 4.2 months; p = 0.022) compared with the AA group (hazard ratio 0.68; 95% CI 0.68-0.97). In patients with brain metastases, the IA group exhibited improved efficacy (mPFS 6.0 vs 3.8 months; p = 0.034) compared with the AA group (hazard ratio 0.49; 95% CI 0.23-1.05). Conclusion ICIs plus anlotinib significantly improved efficacy compared with anlotinib alone and showed substantial potential for the control of intracranial lesions.Next-generation sequencing (NGS) and liquid biopsy are new technologies that can allow overall tumor profiling in a single analysis and play an important role in the implementation of precision oncology. However, the lack of guidelines in this setting has limited the development of precision oncology in Italy. This article summarizes recommendations for the appropriate use of NGS in tumor gene profiling, as well as access to tests and target drugs, that were prepared by a group of key opinion leaders and relevant stakeholders. In particular, the need to create laboratory networks capable of carrying out NGS tests in Italy is highlighted. It also appears necessary to establish an adequate reimbursement system for NGS tests. However, the expert panel recommends that the use of NGS tests in clinical practice should be limited to specific tumor types, based on the number and complexity of biomarkers and the availability of treatments.Wunderlich Syndrome (WS) is a rare, spontaneous, atraumatic retroperitoneal renal hemorrhage into the perirenal and subcapsular spaces. WS has not been previously reported in secondary to severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), and this rare incidence may lead to difficulties in early clinical diagnosis, possibly affecting patient outcome. We present a case of WS secondary to SAP. Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of WS in patients with pancreatitis who present with flank pain and shock.

1)To analyze evidence about poor adherence / non-adherence including their prevalences, associated factors, and interventions in ulcerative colitis (UC) patients; 2)To provide a framework to improve poor adherence / non-adherence.

A qualitative approach was applied. A literature review was performed using Medline. Primary searches were performed with Mesh and free texts to identify articles that analyzed prevalence, causes, associated factors, and interventions designed to improve poor adherence/ non-adherence in UC patients. The studies' quality was evaluated using the Oxford scale. The results were presented and discussed in a nominal group meeting, comprising a multidisciplinary committee of six gastroenterologists, one psychologist, one nurse, and one patient. Several overarching principles and recommendations were generated. A consensus procedure was implemented via a Delphi process during which each committee member produced a score ranging from 0 = totally disagree to 10 = totally agree. Agreement herence.Introduction/Aims In capsule endoscopy (CE), small bowel subepithelial lesions (SBSL) are difficult to distinguishing from innocent mucosal protrusions. The SPICE score (smooth, protruding lesions index on CE) and a score that assesses the SBSL protrusion angle were developed. We intend to determine if a composite score is superior to the proposed models. Methods All CE between 01/2010 and 12/2020 were included if a smooth, round protruding lesion was identified. Both scores and a composite score (SPICE>2 and Angle2 and angle of less then 90º are obtained, additional follow-up investigation should always be undertaken, as the likelihood of SBSL is high.66-year-old female with a diagnosis of bilateral ovarian carcinoma with peritoneal carcinomatosis and liver metastases, who only had one cycle of chemotherapy, she could not be given other cycles because the side effects caused poor general condition. buy U0126 She was admitted due to intermittent vomiting developing for a week and severe heartburn, with the last stool two days before, presenting abdominal distension and lower abdominal pain, without signs of peritonism and without peristaltic sounds. After performing several complementary tests, the computed tomography scan showed a large amount of intra-abdominal air, it was thought to be a possible transverse colon volvulus, which caused extrinsic compression on the stomach. A colonoscopy was performed to try to devolvulate, without success, which led to the performance of laparotomy, with exit of pneumoperitoneum when opening the abdominal cavity, which was blocked by peritoneal carcinomatosis, observing a perforation of the colon at the splenic angle.Cutaneous melanoma is a common and aggressive neoplasm, and metastases to the gastrointestinal tract mainly affect the small intestine, colon, and stomach. Gallbladder metastasis is uncommon. We present a case of melanoma metastasis in the gallbladder in a 40-year-old man with a previous diagnosis of cutaneous melanoma in the dorsal region. The purpose of this article is to reinforce the importance of imaging exams, adding PET scan as another useful method in patients with melanoma in follow-up.Molecular dynamics simulations of all-atom and coarse-grained lipid bilayer models are increasingly used to obtain useful insights for understanding the structural dynamics of these assemblies. In this context, one crucial point concerns the comparison of the performance and accuracy of classical force fields (FFs), which sometimes remains elusive. To date, the assessments performed on different classical potentials are mostly based on the comparison with experimental observables, which typically regard average properties. However, local differences of the structure and dynamics, which are poorly captured by average measurements, can make a difference, but these are nontrivial to catch. Here, we propose an agnostic way to compare different FFs at different resolutions (atomistic, united-atom, and coarse-grained), by means of a high-dimensional similarity metrics built on the framework of Smooth Overlap of Atomic Position (SOAP). We compare and classify a set of 13 FFs, modeling 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (POPC) bilayers.
