Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be found in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to increase attribute bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is at a certain level. Certain upgrade item s come with special effects that can be seen when they are applied. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or as rewards in games.
Various upgrade components are available, each offering various bonuses. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments are able to be used on ascended back equipment. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs that can only be placed in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will display their name in the hover display of the item while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you add and view these unique characters, along with regular symbols like em and en dashes, as well as trademark symbols that are registered.
Each Glyph gives an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied when other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. Make sure you select the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be leveled up by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are fulfilled and therefore are worth checking out for.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further using an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more opportunities to pull an item or character you are interested in. It can assist you in gaining more experience or to gain better loot, such as a better weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until the character they want is available, regardless of ability. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or their personality.
When you reroll, you need to make sure that the changes you are making are safe. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and run a core development check. You should also upload the patch to an issue using plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. During this time, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to save time. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to boost your character's strength and appearance. This could include upgrading your weapons, rerolling your characters and buying upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be necessary but it's an option to increase your chances of getting the right character or weapon. You can use it to find the best character or to play around with different builds and playstyles.
Sets
A set is an object collection having 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets permit operations like intersection, union and distinction.
If you upgrade a set item, it is an upgraded version that is better than the previous version. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and less requirements for strength.
Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets up to parity with items in higher-level sets. For instance, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already exceptional and elite in their own right and do not require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. For these kinds of products, it might be worth the extra cost to upp them.
