The study describes patient-reported experiences and recommendations to improve the genetic counseling and multigene panel testing (MGPT) process. A descriptive mixed-method study with concurrently collected and integrated qualitative and quantitative data was conducted. Eligible participants were English-speaking adults with a breast or gynecologic cancer diagnosis who had received genetic counseling and testing with a MGPT from one Comprehensive Cancer Center. Satisfaction with the genetic counseling, genetic knowledge using a recently validated scale (KnowGene), the multidimensional impact of cancer risk assessment (MICRA), family communication, and the association with demographic factors were evaluated. To supplement the large quantitative data set, qualitative focus group responses and open-ended text items were collected. Univariate and multivariable associations between each outcome of interest and personal characteristics were assessed. Qualitative data were content-analyzed. 603 participants completnge of individual preferences affecting overall satisfaction, or suggestions for improvement were shared. As new models of streamlined cancer genetic services are being clinically implemented, approaches should continue to assess and tailor the process based on patients' informational and emotional needs.
Glomus jugulare tumors (GJTs) are challenging to treat due to their vascularization and location. This analysis evaluates the effectiveness and safety of image-guided robotic radiosurgery (RRS) for GJTs in a multicenter study and reviews the existing radiosurgical literature.
We analyzed outcome data from 101 patients to evaluate local control (LC), changes in pretreatment deficits, and toxicity. Moreover, radiosurgical studies for GJTs have been reviewed.
After a median follow-up of 35 months, the overall LC was 99%. Eighty-eight patients were treated with a single dose, 13 received up to 5 fractions. The median tumor volume was 5.6 cc; the median treatment dose for single-session treatments is 16 Gy, and for multisession treatments is 21 Gy. Fifty-six percentage of patients experienced symptom improvement or recovered entirely.
RRS is an effective primary and secondary treatment option for GJTs. The available literature suggests that radiosurgery is a treatment option for most GJTs.

To identify factors associated with mammography screening behaviour and its predictors among rural Vietnamese women.
A predictive correlational study involving 120 women aged≥40years was conducted in the suburbs of Hanoi, Vietnam, in July 2018 by using Breast Cancer Awareness Measurement and the Champion Health Beliefs Model Scale. Mammography screening behaviour was assessed by asking participants about their previous mammography experience.
Only 16.7% of participants had undergone mammography screening. High education levels, high monthly family income, having family members or friends with breast cancer, and receiving physicians' recommendations increased the likelihood of participants screening for breast cancer. Mean scores on perceived susceptibility and perceived barriers differed significantly between participants who had and those who had not undergone screening (t=4.31; p<.001; t=-5.05; p<.001, respectively). Perceived susceptibility and perceived barriers significantly increased the predictive power of the hierarchical logistic model (critical value=6.16; [df=2]; p=.046). Perceived barriers were the most significant predictors of screening behaviour (odds ratio 0.84; 95% CI, 0.71-0.99; p=.039).
Efforts are necessary to increase mammography awareness in the community and promote screening rates in Vietnam.

Here, we report a strategy to partition acs framework into pacs (partitioned acs) crystalline porous materials (CPM). This strategy is based on insertion of in situ synthesized 4,4'-dipyridylsulfide (dps) ligands. One third of open metal sites in the acs net are retained in pacs MOFs; two thirds are used for pore-space partition. The Co2 V-pacs MOFs exhibit near or at record high uptake capacities for C2 H2 , C2 H4 , C2 H6 , and CO2 among MOFs. The storage capacity of C2 H2 is 234 cm3 g-1 (298 K) and 330 cm3 g-1 (273 K) at 1 atm for CPM-733-dps (the Co2 V-BDC form, BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate). These high uptake capacities are accomplished with low heat of adsorption, a feature desirable for low-energy-cost adsorbent regeneration. CPM-733-dps is stable and shows no loss of C2 H2 adsorption capacity following multiple adsorption-desorption cycles.Reactive oxygen species signaling in primordial germ cell development in Drosophila embryos (586) https//doi.org/10.1002/dvg.23362 Generation of B6-Ddx4 em1(CreERT2)Utr , a novel CreERT2 knock-in line, for germ cell lineage by CRISPR /Cas9 (587) https//doi.org/10.1002/dvg.23367.A palladium-catalyzed intermolecular dynamic kinetic asymmetric dearomatization of 3-arylindoles with internal alkynes was developed with the use of achiral Xantphos and chiral sulfinamide phosphine ligand (PC-Phos) as the co-ligands. This method could deliver various spiro[indene-1,3'-indole] compounds in good yields (up to 95 % yield) with up to 98 % ee. The salient features of the transformation include the use of readily available substrates, ease of scale-up and the versatile functionalization of the products. The mechanistic experiments gave some insights on active intermediates. To develop high-performance nonlinear optical (NLO) materials for infrared (IR) applications, we have applied a rational element-composition design strategy and investigated the unexplored PbO-PbCl2 -PbI2 system. By doing so, we discovered a new polar lead mixed oxyhalide, Pb18 O8 Cl15 I5 , the first synthetic metal oxyhalide combining both Cl- and I- . Pb18 O8 Cl15 I5 reveals an unprecedented structural feature with two different dimensional types of oxocentered Pb-O units, namely, [O4 Pb8 ]8+ clusters and [OPb2 ]2+ chains. Centimeter-sized single crystals of Pb18 O8 Cl15 I5 have been successfully grown under ambient conditions. NSC 630176 Remarkably, Pb18 O8 Cl15 I5 satisfies all fundamental yet rigorous criteria for high-performance IR NLO materials, exhibiting the widest IR transparency (up to 16.0 μm) among oxide-based crystals, strong second-harmonic generation response (1.05×AgGaS2 ), superior birefringence (0.086 at 636 nm), and a high laser-induced damage threshold (8.5×AgGaS2 ).
