It is very important for clinicians and patients to strengthen the understanding and build intervention strategy in ischemic pain management and possible adverse consequence.Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a major public health issue, and the aim of the present study was to identify the factors associated with GDM. Databases were searched for observational studies until August 20, 2020. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) were calculated using fixed- or random-effects models. 103 studies involving 1,826,454 pregnant women were identified. Results indicated that maternal age ≥ 25 years (OR 2.466, 95% CI (2.121, 2.866)), prepregnancy overweight or obese (OR 2.637, 95% CI (1.561, 4.453)), family history of diabetes (FHD) (OR 2.326, 95% CI (1.904, 2.843)), history of GDM (OR 21.137, 95% CI (8.785, 50.858)), macrosomia (OR 2.539, 95% CI (1.612, 4.000)), stillbirth (OR 2.341, 95% CI (1.435, 3.819)), premature delivery (OR 3.013, 95% CI (1.569, 5.787)), and pregestational smoking (OR 2.322, 95% CI (1.359, 3.967)) increased the risk of GDM with all P 0.05). Being primigravida (OR 0.752, 95% CI (0.698, 0.810), P less then 0.001) reduced the risk of GDM. Sanger sequencing revealed that two probands carried SLC12A3 compound heterozygous mutations, and proband A carried two pathogenic mutations missense mutation Arg83Gln, splicing mutation, or frameshift mutation NC_000016.10g.56872655_56872667 (gcggacatttttg>accgaaaatttt) in exon 8. This study is aimed at providing a nonbridging external fixation technique with pinning fixation for the pronation-abduction stage III ankle fracture. The secondary purpose was to evaluate its effect on anatomic reduction and fracture fragment stability against cadaveric models' rotation.

A paired design study was conducted using 14 pairs of the cadaveric model which had been modeled for pronation-abduction stage III ankle fracture. One fracture model from each pair was randomly allocated to receive an open reduction and internal fixation, while the other was reduced and stabilized with the external fixation technique. After the surgery, the antirotational stability tests were performed with external rotation torques of 10 nm, 15 nm, and 20 nm applied, respectively. The postoperation reduction rate and ankle parameters were recorded in anteroposterior and lateral radiographs before and after the antirotational stability experiment.

The outcomes were assessed according to Burwell-Charnley's radiographic criteria of reduction. It showed no statistically significant differences in reduction between the two groups (

< 0.05). The displacement of lateral fragment following a reduction in the external fixation group was significantly larger than that of the internal fixation group (3.14 ± 0.56 vs. 1.49 ± 0.39,

< 0.05). After applying rotational torques of 10 nm, 15 nm, and 20 nm, the results of other parameters showed no significant differences between the two groups.
