This paper uses replicator dynamics to construct a multigame system with environmental space and delay based on three social dilemmas. For the non-delayed and delayed multigame systems, rich dynamics for stability, bistability, transcritical bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation, and the direction, stability and periodic variation of periodic solutions are comprehensively investigated. Accordingly, we use numerical simulations to assist in exploring the effects of multigame, environmental space, and time delay on strategic dynamics. The results show that large proportions of snowdrift game and stag hunt game are conducive to the prosperity of cooperators, and defectors are easy to survive when the proportion of prisoner's dilemma is large. The cooperator gains the advantage of benefit distribution from environmental space, or the defector gets less benefit distribution as punishment, which will make pure cooperation the dominant strategy. Furthermore, environmental space can allow cooperation and defection to coexist oscillatingly. Brazilian red propolis is a natural product known due to its medicinal properties. The efficacy of this natural resin has been proved; however, few studies report the safety of its oral use. Some toxic effects of natural products may not be expressed in traditional use, and preclinical studies are necessary to guarantee their safety. Health regulatory agency currently requires these non-clinical studies to develop drugs and herbal medicines, including genotoxic and oral toxicity tests.

Accomplish the preclinical toxicity studies of Brazilian red propolis extract (BRP) in rodents, including genotoxicity, acute and sub-chronic toxicities.

Genotoxicity assays followed the erythrocyte micronucleus test protocol in a range of 500-2000mg/kg BRP oral treatment on male Swiss mice. After an up-and-down procedure, acute oral toxicity (single dose) was performed on female Wistar Hannover rats, reaching a 2000mg/kg BRP oral gavage concentration. Animals were monitored periodically until 14 days and euthanized for aity.

BRP, at a higher dose, showed no signs of immediate toxicity. However, the obtained results suggest that the chemical composition and the intake of higher doses deserve special attention regarding possible toxicity.

Fructus Ligustri Lucidi (FLL), the fruit of Ligustrum lucidum Ait., is a traditional Chinese medicine that has been used for tonifying the kidney and liver for decades.

This study aimed to explore and identify polysaccharides from FLL and elucidate its protective effect against renal fibrosis.

Polysaccharides were extracted and isolated from FLL. The purified fraction was identified by serial phytochemical work, such as gel-permeation chromatography, ion chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Mice with unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) were applied as a renal fibrosis model. The male UUO mice were pretreated with heteropolysaccharide (Poly) 1 week prior to surgery and continuously treated for 7 days after the operation. Renal fibrosis was assessed by Periodic Acid-Schiff (PAS) staining and Masson's trichrome staining in paraffin-embedded slides. The murine mesangial cells SV40-MES13 upon angiotensin II (Ang II) treatment were developed as an in vitro fiisolated and identified a naturally occurring heteropolysaccharide in FLL and revealed its potential in protecting the kidneys from fibrosis.

However, the need for careful optimization of sample preparations and for access to expensive, high-end equipment, make cryo-ET a costly and time-consuming technique. Generally, only after the last step of the cryo-ET workflow, when reconstructed tomograms are available, it becomes clear whether the chosen imaging parameters were suitable for a specific type of sample in order to answer a specific biological question. Tools for a-priory assessment of the feasibility of samples to answer biological questions and how to optimize imaging parameters to do so would be a major advantage. Here we describe MEPSi (Membrane Embedded Protein Simulator), a simulation tool aimed at rapid and convenient evaluation and optimization of cryo-ET data acquisition parameters for studies of transmembrane proteins in their native environment. In the current study, we determined the effect of ketoprofen on the rat gut when administered with Yersinia enterocolitica. On performing the label-free quantitation of the rat gut proteins, the expression of 494 proteins out of 1628 proteins was altered, which has a profound effect on NF-kB signaling pathway, immune system, dysbiosis, and gut injury. Further, the biochemical [enhanced malondialdehyde (MDA) & hepatic enzyme activities and reduced serotonin & antioxidants levels i.e., catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD)] and histopathological analysis suggested the significant damage in treated rats, compared to control rats. Lastly, the elevated plus maze (EPM) study confirmed high levels of anxiety in treated rats in comparison to the control group. Altogether, results suggest that the co-administration of ketoprofen with Y. enterocolitica damages gut, alters hepatic enzyme activities, and affects behavioral responses in the treated rats.

One-step conservative surgery is the most extensively described conservative surgical technique, and it has extensive evidence supporting its usefulness; however, few groups apply it, most likely because of the misconception that it is a complex procedure that requires extensive training and is applicable to only a few patients.

This was a multicenter, descriptive, prospective study that described the outcomes of patients with placenta accreta spectrum treated in 4 reference hospitals for this condition. The patients were divided into those managed with one-step conservative surgery and those managed with cesarean deliv application requires knowledge of the topographic classification and the application of intraoperative staging.
