The profession of nurses involves exposure to harmful agents. Despite numerous international studies on the occurrence of sleep disorders in nurses, most studies lacked an assessment of the dependence on the occurrence of the situation causing fear and anxiety which is a highly contagious.
Determining the relationship between the occurrence of sleep disorders and socio-demographic variables of medical personnel during the COVID-19 epidemic.
This is a cross-sectional study conducted online involving 336 health professionals.
Insomnia among staff was determined at the level of Subthreshold insomnia and Clinical insomnia (moderate severity). Suspicion or confirmed COVID-19 had an effect on the occurrence of sleep disorders in the study group of medical personnel.
Taking into account the statistical error of 6%, the sleep disorders concern about 40% of professionally active nurses and midwives in Poland. Worsening of insomnia was observed in people with the possibility of contact with a patient with COVID-19 in the workplace. Insomnia was more common in respondents over 25years of age. Psychosocial interventions are needed to help healthcare staff better respond to COVID-19 and future epidemics.

This paper focuses on the identified value of a community-based project (CBP), including residents' living within low income housing units and their reported experiences of receiving health and social services within two communities by nurse practitioners (NPs) and its impact on their communities.
To gain insight into the lived experience of residents in the housing units from a collaborative interprofessional care approach provided in a clinic situated within each housing unit, in integrating health and social services within the residents' own 'community' and its outcomes.
A qualitative descriptive study to gain insight into the shared views of care informants.
Two low income housing units in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Twenty-two residents representing all genders who lived in the housing units.
A purposive sampling of willing residents participated in a focus group interview. Each group comprised from 4 to 6 persons. Two focus group interviews occurred in each of the two housing units.
Their voices resulted in identification of two themes - clinic as a catalyst to creating a sense of community and clinic as assisting them in managing their overall health. Two subthemes were also identified within each theme.
Findings provide insight into the value of CBP, that a strengths-based and interprofessional care approach can serve as a catalyst for an evolving community.

Family caregivers enable patients to be cared for and die at home whereas nurses aim to support the family caregivers of these patients. Information on how this support is provided and how this is documented in nursing files is largely lacking.
To gain insight in nurses' reports on the supportive care for family caregivers.
We studied 59 nursing files of adult patients who had received hospice home care in the Netherlands from 4 home care organisations between August 2017 and October 2018. Information on supportive nursing care for family caregivers was retrieved from the nursing files based on a prestructured form. Data was quantitatively and qualitatively analysed.
54 out of 59 nursing files contained information about family caregivers; 40 files contained nursing diagnoses on family caregivers and in 26 files nursing interventions on supportive care for family caregivers were reported.
Only half of the nursing files contained information about supportive nursing care for family caregivers. Complete nursing documentation of provided care to family caregivers is needed.

For analysis and graphical presentation, bibliometrix package in R software and VOSviewer software are used. Total 146 documents from Scopus database are examined in this study. The results from the analysis reveal that the number of publications on work-family conflict is recently in an ascending growth that can be characterized by low productivity, low average citations per document and rising collaboration among authors. The growth of work-family conflict literature began to increase from 2003 and the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Journal of Vocational Behaviour played significant roles. Future research areas have been identified from the results of thematic map, trend topics, bibliometric coupling, three-fields plot and co-occurrence network. It is revealed from development of topics in this literature that pay satisfaction, occupational differences, effects of burnout and organizational politics has potential literature gaps. In addition, the examination of highlighted theories and methods used in previous literature contributing in different industries shall be the propitious areas of future research apart from other research agenda as identified in this study.
Cognitive dysfunction has a negative effect on cancer treatment; however, in a cancer setting, specific treatments can restore cognitive function. Such conditions are known as reversible dementia, with one of these being vitamin B12 (VB12) deficiency. However, there have been no reports of VB12 deficiency identified by preoperative evaluation in cancer patients.
We studied a patient who was referred to the Department of Psycho-oncology on suspicion of cognitive decline prior to lung cancer surgery. Preoperative evaluation revealed VB12 deficiency.
The patient was an 82-year-old woman diagnosed with lung cancer. She also presented with cognitive decline and, therefore, was referred to the Department of Psycho-oncology for preoperative evaluation. The patient scored 19 points on a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), which is indicative of cognitive decline. As the onset of symptoms occurred several months previously and they were subacute, the possibility of reversible dementia was considered. Extensive examination revealed VB12 deficiency, and VB12 replacement therapy normalized the MMSE score to 25 points before surgery.
