Clinical phenotyping of primary progressive aphasia has largely focused on speech and language presentations, leaving other cognitive domains under-examined. This study investigated the diagnostic utility of visuospatial profiles and examined their neural basis among the three main primary progressive aphasia variants. We studied the neuropsychological performances of 118 primary progressive aphasia participants and 30 cognitively normal controls, across 11 measures of visuospatial cognition, and investigated their neural correlates via voxel-based morphometry analysis using visuospatial composite scores derived from principal component analysis. The principal component analysis identified three main factors visuospatial-executive, visuospatial-memory and visuomotor components. Logopenic variant primary progressive aphasia performed significantly worst across all components; nonfluent/agrammatic variant primary progressive aphasia showed deficits in the visuospatial-executive and visuomotor components compare performance on the visuomotor, visuospatial-memory and executive functions. The use of honey as a complementary and alternative medicine is associated with vast range of therapeutic promises. It is established that it exhibits potential innumerable medicinal effects which is attributed to it phenolic, flavonoids, and other diverse compounds profile. However, the effect of honey sugars analogue as its major constituent has not been investigated. This study examined the effect of honey sugars analogue (HSA) namely fructose, glucose, maltose, and sucrose in breast cancer-induced albino Sprague-Dawley (SD) rat models. The treatment was administered when first palpable tumour reached 10-12 mm in size by dividing nulliparous rats (n = 30) into following groups Group 0 (negative control, n = 10), Group 1 (positive control, n = 10), and Group 2 (received 1.0 g/kg body HSA, n = 10) over a period of 120 days. The effect of treatment against breast cancer was observed with a slower tumour progression, a lower median tumour size, multiplicity, and weight (p less then 0.05). The anticancer effect was through amelioration of tumour growth, tumour grading, and haematological parameters. Data also show that HSA administration induces an increased susceptibility of expression of proapoptotic proteins such as Apaf-1, caspase-9, IFN-γ, IFNGR1, and p53, and a reduced expression of antiapoptotic proteins such as E2, ESR1, TNF-α, COX-2, and Bcl-xL 1 in their mechanisms of action. HSA behaves akin to honey. Thus, HSA may modulate breast cancer as an analogue or major profile of honey.

The present study explores the potential mechanism of Yiqi yangyin jiedu Recipe (YQYYJDR) on triple negative breast cancer via adopting network pharmacology and experimental validation.

The potential active compounds and target genes of YQYYJDR were screened out from TCMSP database with OB ≥ 30% and DL index ≥ 0.18. The potential pathways and function enrichment were identified from Metascape website. MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells were tested for cell viability, invasion, and apoptosis by

and

experiments.

A total of 153 bioactive compounds and 281 target genes of YQYYJDR were retrieved from TCMSP database. The top 5 enrichment pathways of YQYYJDR target genes include pathways in cancer, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications, proteoglycans in cancer, IL-17 signaling pathway, and platinum drug resistance. 65 target genes were included in the pathway of cancer. Biological function enrichment analysis of 65 genes showed YQYYJDR inhibited tumor growth mainly through apoptotic pathway. Etomoxir concentration e negative breast cancer.

To evaluate the effect of the compliance in liver cancer patients with interventional therapy in the use of staged nursing intervention.

A total of sixty liver cancer patients with interventional therapy were enrolled from January 2019 to December 2020. All patients were randomized to the control group (

 = 30) and the experimental group (

= 30); routine nursing intervention and staged nursing intervention were conducted, respectively. The characteristics of compliance, psychological state, and other related indicators were recorded and compared.

The experimental group experienced lower VAS scores and higher treatment compliance. After intervention, both groups observed obvious reductions in the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores, self-rating depression scale (SDS), and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scores, while those were markedly lower in the experimental group (all

< 0.05). The experimental group yielded a significantly lower complication rate than the control group (

< 0.05).

In liver cancer patients with interventional therapy, staged nursing intervention could effectively relieve the pain, reduce the incidence of complications, and timely eliminate the negative emotion, thus playing a vital impact on the prognosis, worthy of further promotion.

Nivolumab plus other drugs have provided significant benefits in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC), but most of the available comparisons were conducted with sunitinib, and differences in efficacy with targeted drugs were marginally reported. Thus, this study used a network meta-analysis to compare the difference in efficacy between nivolumab combination therapy and other targeted agents.

In this systematic review and network meta-analysis, we searched PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with the time set from database establishment to December 10, 2021, using programmed death factor 1 (PD-1) inhibitors, nivolumab, and sunitinib in the treatment of mRCC. Progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), response rate (RR), and adverse events (AEs) were collated and analyzed using the gemtc package in the R language.

A total of ten studies satisfied the inclusion criteria, including 6568 RCC cases, 10 drugs, and 11 treatment prot.

Among the targeted treatment options for mRCC, both Niv_Cab and Niv_Ipi yield better efficacy and safety in the treatment of mRCC, with Niv_Cab providing more survival benefit but with a less favorable safety profile.

Osteosarcoma (OS) is a bone malignancy frequently seen in pediatrics and has high mortality and incidence. Ferroptosis is an important cell death process in regulating the apoptosis and invasion of tumor cells, so constructing the risk-scoring model based on OS ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs) will benefit the evaluation of both treatment and prognosis.

The OS dataset was screened from the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET) database, and OS-related FRGs were found through the Ferroptosis Database (FerrDb) using a multivariate Cox regression model, followed by the generation of the risk scores and a risk-scoring prediction model. Further systematical exploration for immune cell infiltration and assessing the prediction of response to targeted drugs was conducted.

Based on OS-related FRGs, a risk-scoring model of FRGs in OS was constructed. The six FRGs played a role in the carbon metabolism, glutathione metabolism, and pentose phosphate pathways. Results from targeted drug sensitivity analyses were concordant to pathway analyses. The response to targeted drugs statistically differed between the two groups with different risks, and the high-risk group presented a high sensitivity to targeted drugs.

We identified a 6-ferroptosis-gene-based prognostic signature in OS and created and verified a risk-scoring model to predict the prognosis of OS at 1, 3, and 5 years for OS patients independently.

In this paper, through the big data of students' physical performance and students' physical quality, an expert system for physical education curriculum recommendation is established to teach students according to their aptitude and increase the intelligent management of the classroom. The SPSS simulation experiment is carried out according to the big data of students' physical performance and physical quality. Finally, it is concluded that the system can improve students' interest in physical exercise, increase the vividness of the classroom, and improve students' physical quality. As one of the major causes of traffic accidents on wet roads, hydroplaning is prone to occur when the traveling speed of a vehicle rises so high that the hydrodynamic pressure between pavement and tires equals inflation pressure. In this condition, the vehicle nearly loses braking and steering capacity. Inspired by the superior drag reduction function of shark-skin riblet, the purpose of this study is to arrange bionic nonsmooth structures at the bottom of longitudinal grooves to promote the hydroplaning performance without affecting other tire performances. A finite element model of 185/60R15 tire was employed and its accuracy was verified by loading tests with CSS-88100 electronic testing instrument. Meanwhile, a fluid domain model was founded by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. The simulated critical hydroplaning speed was in accord with that obtained by the NASA empirical formula. Inspired by shark-skin riblet, three kinds of nonsmooth surfaces were exploited. In addition, the drag reduction rate, shear stress, and flow velocity distribution were compared for different grooves. Then, the optimized nonsmooth structure with the best drag reduction effect among three nonsmooth surfaces was arranged at the bottom of longitudinal grooves for bionic tire. Simulation results demonstrated that the bionic tire obviously decreased hydrodynamic lift and increased flow velocities. With these improvements, the critical hydroplaning speed was effectively improved for the bionic tire. These research results can be applied to the promotion of hydroplaning performance without degrading other tire performances.Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracycline anticancer drug, which is often associated with drug resistance and cytotoxicity. More unfortunately, the biological barrier in the human environment can weaken the efficacy of DOX, such as the blood-brain barrier (BBB). This work attempts to make efforts to solve this problem. We used polyethylene glycol distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (PEG-DSPE) as a nanocarrier and DOX as a model drug to construct a composite nanodrug (TF-PEG-DSPE/DOX NPs) by coupling transferrin (TF). The results of glioma experiments show that the nanodrug can effectively penetrate BBB to achieve an antitumor effect.
