There is a need for accurate preoperative planning that can be used easily in daily practice.

A search was performed for free available computer programs that can be used for pre-operative planning of spinal osteotomies in AS. Finally, the use of these computer programs is illustrated and described.

Various studies mentioned the neuroprotective and antioxidative effects of citicoline in the central nervous system. This study aims to investigate the potential protective effects of citicoline therapeutic in an animal model of HE.

Mice received acetaminophen (APAP,1g/kg, i. p.) and then treated with citicoline (500 mg/kg, i.p) one and two hours after APAP. Animals were monitored for locomotor activity and blood and brain ammonia levels. Moreover, markers of oxidative stress were assessed in the brain tissue.

The result of the study revealed that plasma and brain ammonia and the liver injury markers increased, and locomotor activity impaired in the APAP-treated animals. Besides, an increase in markers of oxidative stress was evident in the brain of the APAP-treated mice. It was found that citicoline supplementation enhanced the animal's locomotor activity and improved brain tissue markers of oxidative stress.

These molecules also represent the target of recently developed biologic (bDMARDs) and targeted synthetic disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) (tsDMARDs) currently investigated in several Phase II and III randomized controlled trials (RCTs). This review examines the therapeutic efficacy and safety of most recent developed IL-17, IL-23 and JAK inhibitors and highlights how these new PsA therapies are going to revolutionize the management of PsA in the next few years. Ongoing RCTs of these molecules in PsA are also described. link2 Available literature on new anti-IL-17 and anti-IL-23 agents and JAK inhibitors demonstrates the potential role of these molecules as effective therapeutic strategies across multiple PsA clinical domains, along with an acceptable tolerability and safety profile, thus expanding the treatment options available for PsA patients. Upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy was attempted but endoscopic exploration was limited because of duodenum filled by fluid. Rigler's triad was detected on abdominal enhanced CT scan duodenal obstruction, ectopic gallstone within duodenum lumen, pneumobilia. The stone was very large (9 cm long). The diagnosis was duodenal obstruction due to giant gallstone and cholecysto-duodenum fistula. The patient was treated with a radical one-stage procedure fistulotomy for gallstone removal, cholecystectomy, side-to-side Roux-en-Y duodenojejunostomy. There were no complications related to surgery during the follow-up period.

Only anterior capsulotomy and lens fragmentation were planned with a femtosecond laser. Docking of the patient interface and anterior capsulotomy were completed without any complications. During the lens fragmentation process, the patient could not resist the temptation to squeeze his eyes shut, which caused excessive pressure from the eyelids. As the procedure proceeded, a bubble was formed at the edge of the patient interface and became increasingly larger. In addition, wrinkles in the conjunctiva were observed. As the lens fragmentation was approaching the final stage, the surgeon was reluctant to release the foot pedal to stop the laser emission. Finally, the patient interface lost adhesion to the cornea. Owing to the high repetition rate of the laser, the laser beam slipped into the corneal layers. Under an operating microscope, a grid-pattern laser beam trace was observed in the peripheral part of the cornea. As posterior capsule rupture occurred during the lens removal process, IOL insertion was no longer a suitable option. Therefore, scleral fixation of the implanted intraocular lens was performed without any unexpected events. One year postoperatively, the laser beam trace in the corneal layers could still be identified by slit-lamp examination. Nonetheless, since the laser beam trace was limited to the peripheral part of the cornea, and there was no damage to the central cornea, the visual acuity was 20/20. FLACS has significant benefits, especially in challenging cases of cataract surgery, and has well-established built-in safeguards for complications. However, this case study indicates the possibility of a suction break during laser emission and the preoperative risk factors. The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence and correlates of the perceived risk of weekly cannabis use, past 30-day cannabis use, and frequency of past 30-day cannabis use among US pregnant women.

We analyzed data from 2,247 pregnant women 14 to 44 years of age surveyed in the 2015 to 2017 cross-sectional National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Analyses account for the sampling design.
