tment of multi-segmental thoracolumbar OVCF can shorten the operation time, improve the accuracy of puncture, reduce the times and dose of fluoroscopy, reduce the leakage of bone cement, and achieve better cement distribution.
To analyze the effectiveness of percutaneous injection of autologous concentrated bone marrow aspirate (cBMA) combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of delayed fracture healing.
A prospective, randomized, controlled, single-blind case study was conducted. Between March 2016 and July 2018, 66 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for delayed fracture healing but had solid internal fixation of the fracture end were randomly divided into control group (31 cases, treated with percutaneous autogenous bone marrow blood injection) and study group (35 cases, treated with percutaneous autogenous cBMA+PRP injection). General data such as gender, age, body mass index, site of delayed fracture healing, length of bone defect at fracture end, and preoperative radiographic union score for tibia (RUST) showed no significant difference between the two groups (
>0.05). Before injection, Kirschner wire was used in both groups to stimulate the fracture end and cause minor injury. The fon of BMSCs and growth factors, and can improve the fracture healing rate and shorten the fracture healing time better than autogenous bone marrow blood injection.
To investigate the short-term effectiveness of arthroscopic assisted double Endobutton "8" buckle fixation in the treatment of Rockwood Ⅲ type acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
The clinical data of 12 patients with Rockwood Ⅲ type acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation who were treated with arthroscopic assisted double Endobutton "8" buckle fixation between June 2016 and June 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. There were 8 males and 4 females, with an average age of 47.0 years (range, 36-58 years). There were 4 cases of left shoulder and 8 cases of right shoulder. The causes of injury included traffic accident injury in 7 cases and falling injury in 5 cases. The average time from injury to operation was 5.0 days (range, 3-14 days). Before operation and at last follow-up, the shoulder joint activity was recorded; the improvements of function and pain were evaluated by Constant score and visual analogue scale (VAS) score, respectively; the reduction was evaluated by measuring the coracoid spacierm effectiveness.
Arthroscopic assisted double Endobutton "8" buckle fixation for the treatment of Rockwood Ⅲ type acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation is safe, less invasive, and quicker recovery. It can effectively alleviate shoulder pain, significantly improve the mobility of the shoulder joint, and achieve good short-term effectiveness.
To observe effectivness and safeness of self-made dentation hook plate associated with hot-air balloon technique in treating Mutch Ⅰ or Ⅱ type isolated greater tuberosity fractures of humerus.
Between January 2016 and December 2018, 15 patients with Mutch Ⅰ or Ⅱ type greater tuberosity fractures were treated with self-made dentation hook plate associated with hot-air balloon technique. There were 9 males and 6 females with an average age of 45.1 years (range, 29-62 years). The injury causes included falling injury in 9 patients and traffic accident injury in 6 patients. According to Mutch classification, 4 cases were MutchⅠ type and 11 cases were Mutch Ⅱ type. There were 7 cases with anterior dislocation of shoulder. The time from injury to operation was 2-10 days (mean, 4.5 days).
All 15 patients were followed up 8-16 months, with an average of 13.5 months. There was no infection of incision, loss of reduction of fracture block, delayed union or nonunion. Ravoxertinib cell line The average time of fracture union was 6.5 montated greater tuberosity fracture of humerus.
To assess the effectiveness of lateral ligament reconstruction with autogenous partial peroneus longus tendon for chronic lateral ankle instability.
Between September 2014 and November 2018, 32 patients (32 sides) with chronic lateral ankle instability were treated with lateral ankle ligament reconstruction by using autogenous anterior half of the peroneus longus tendon. There were 25 males and 7 females, with an average age of 28.5 years (range, 20-51 years). The disease duration was 6-41 months (mean, 8.9 months). The preoperative Karlsson-Peterson ankle score was 53.7±9.7. The talar tilt angle was (14.9±3.7)°, and the anterior talar translation was (8.2±2.8) mm. Six patients combined with osteochondral lesion of talus and 4 patients combined with bony impingement.
All incisions healed by first intention postoperatively. All patients were followed up 12-53 months (mean, 22.7 months). At last follow-up, the Karlsson-Peterson ankle score was 85.2±9.6; the talar tilt angle was (4.3±1.4)°; the anterior taive surgical option.
To evaluate the effectiveness of percutaneous retrograde pubic screw implantation assisted by hollow pedicle opener in pubic branch fractures.
The clinical data of 42 patients with pubic branch fractures treated by hollow screw fixation between March 2008 and March 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. According to the operation method, they were divided into the traditional operation group (20 cases in group A, fixed with traditional retrograde pubic screws) and the modified operation group (22 cases in group B, fixed with percutaneous retrograde pubic screws assisted by hollow pedicle opener). There was no significant difference (
>0.05) between the two groups in terms of gender, age, cause of injury, fracture classification, comorbidity, and time from injury to operation. The operation time, blood loss, incision length, screw length, and complications were recorded and compared between the two groups. The fracture reduction was evaluated according to Matta standard on the next day after operation, a was lower than that in group A, but the difference was not significant (
=2.104,
=0.147). In group A, 1 case was found to be dislocated, but in group B, there was no dislocated fracture. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the evaluation of Matta imaging on the next day after operation and the evaluation of Majeed function at 12 months after operation (
>0.05).
Percutaneous retrograde pubic screw implantation assisted by hollow pedicle opener is effect for the pubic branch fractures with the advantage of smaller incision, shorter operation time, and less bleeding compared with traditional methods.
