The viral duration time between the 2 groups was not significantly different (P = .942).Among adults (with hypertension, cardiovascular diseases) infected with SARS-Cov-2, low-dose aspirin medication (100 mg/day) was associated with lower risk of mortality compared with non-aspirin users.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the accuracy of a screening method using salivary tests to screen for periodontal disease. In total, 1888 individuals older than 30 years in 2017 and 2296 in 2018 who underwent medical check-ups for metabolic syndrome agreed to participate and simultaneously underwent a dental examination by dentists and salivary tests. Salivary occult blood, protein, and ammonia levels and white blood cell counts were evaluated in salivary tests using commercially available kits. The relationship between the results of the salivary tests and dental examination was examined and classification performance was analyzed. The prevalence of periodontal disease was 69.9% in 2017 and 66.8% in 2018. Salivary ammonia showed the highest classification performance in both years (sensitivity 83.5 and 83.1%, precision 73.0 and 69.3%, F-measure 0.779 and 0.756). Occult blood, which was assessed using a monoclonal antibody to human hemoglobin, also showed good performance (sensitivity 69.5 was examined and classification performance was analyzed. Occult blood, which was assessed using a monoclonal antibody to human hemoglobin, also showed good performance (sensitivity 69.5%, precision 70.6%, F-measure 0.701). Questions regarding self-reported gingival bleeding were not sufficient to screen for periodontitis. The present results suggest that screening tests using salivary samples may detect periodontal disease in approximately 70% to 80% of subjects in a large population. Conclusion Salivary ammonia and hemoglobin have potential as salivary markers in the screening of periodontal disease.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is the most common cause of musculoskeletal pain and disability worldwide. Chinese herbal fumigation, an external therapy, is commonly used for the treatment of KOA, while there is no systematic review or meta-analysis designed to evaluate the effects of Chinese herbal fumigation on KOA.

Seven databases including Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, EMBASE, PubMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang data, VIP, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database will be searched up to October 31, 2020. Data that meet the inclusion criteria will be extracted and analyzed by using RevMan V.5.3 software. Two reviewers will assess quality of the included studies based on the Cochrane Collaboration risk of bias tool. The funnel plot and Begg test will be used to evaluate publication bias. Brigatinib And Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation will be employed to assess the quality of evidence.

Exosomes are polyvesicles that are formed by invagination of intracellular lysosomal particles, and are released into the extracellular matrix after the fusion of polyvesicular outer membrane and cell membrane. In the body, immune response, antigen presentation, cell migration, cell differentiation and tumor invasion are closely related to tumorigenesis and tumor progression. This study aimed to conduct a meta-analysis for evaluating the clinicopathological, diagnostic and prognostic significance of exosomal expression in gastrointestinal tumors.

The original English articles were systematically searched in the online databases. link2 The diagnostic accuracy, prognostic utility and clinicopathological correlation of gastrointestinal tumors were investigated. The quality assessment for studies of diagnostic accuracy II and Newcastle-Ottawa scale were used for quality evaluation, and the data was strictly extracted to judge the deviation of the study.

A total of 14 studies with 1837 gastrointestinal tumor patieally expressed exosomes might act as auxiliary biomarkers in diagnosing gastrointestinal tumors and demonstrated good prognostic significance in predicting the survival of patients with gastrointestinal tumors.

The abnormally expressed exosomes might act as auxiliary biomarkers in diagnosing gastrointestinal tumors and demonstrated good prognostic significance in predicting the survival of patients with gastrointestinal tumors.

As nursing resources is directly related to patient outcomes in the intensive care unit setting, identifying factors related to nursing resources at various levels could contribute to improving those outcomes. This study aims to determine the association of nursing resources with outcomes of intensive care unit patients.

This study adheres to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis for Protocols. Chinese electronic Database (Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Wanfang, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and international electronic databases (PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science) will be searched for all relevant published articles, with no restrictions on the year of publication or language. Study selection, data collection and assessment of study bias will be conducted independently by a pair of independent reviewers. The Newcastle-Ottawa Scale tool will be used for the risk of bias assessment. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment Development and Evaluation system will be used to assess the quality of evidence. The statistical analysis of this meta-analysis will be calculated by Review manager version 5.3.

The results of this study will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

The findings of this systematic review will provide a high-quality synthesis of latest evidence and provide a basis for assessing the association of nursing resources on patients' outcomes in intensive care units.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common clinical degenerative disease of the joints, which is prone to occur in middle-aged and elderly people. Its early manifestations include knee redness, swelling, pain, effusion, sound, and so on. With the development of the disease, KOA will also lead to joint deformity and disability, which will seriously affect the living ability of patients. It not only brings physical pain and dysfunction to patients, but also leads to anxiety, helplessness, depression, and social disorder in social psychology, which seriously affects patients' daily life, social function and life quality, and also brings huge economic burden and pressure to family and social medical treatment. Floating needle therapy has shown strong advantages in the treatment of KOA, and the curative effect is accurate. Therefore, this paper will carry out a systematic evaluation and meta analysis of the efficacy and safety of floating needle therapy in the treatment of KOA.

We will search 8 electronic databasesimed.

The results of this study will provide reliable evidence for the efficacy and safety of floating needle therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

This study conducts a correlation exploration of CYP2C19 gene polymorphism and clopidogrel resistance in Han Chinese patients with cerebral infarction in Guizhou Region.A total of 270 Han Chinese patients with cerebral infarction, who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018, are selected. These patients were divided into 2 groups, clopidogrel resistance group (n = 60) and clopidogrel sensitive group (n = 210). According to the TEG results, the CYP2C19 gene polymorphism detection was carried out by using the PCR-RFLP method, while IL-6 level in the patient's blood was measured by using the ELISA method. The resistance group occupies 22.22%. The platelet inhibition ratio of the resistance group was 23 ± 7%, which was significantly lower than that of the sensitive group (65 ± 13%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < .05). The Logisitic regression analysis revealed that the history of diabetes, history of high blood pressure, increase in low density lipoprotein accurrence rate of clopidogrel resistance. Clopidogrel resistance not only will weaken the anti-inflammatory action of the drug, but also correlates with the patient's CYP2C19 mutant gene and blood lipid level.

In osteosarcoma, the lung is the most common metastatic organ. Intensive work has been made to illuminate the pathogeny, but the specific metastatic mechanism remains unclear. Thus, we conducted the study to seek to find the key genes and critical functional pathways associated with progression and treatment in lung metastasis originating from osteosarcoma.

Two independent datasets (GSE14359 and GSE85537) were screened out from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and the overlapping differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified using GEO2R online platform. Subsequently, the Gene Ontology (GO) annotation and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways enrichment analysis of DEGs were conducted using DAVID. Meanwhile, the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network constructed by STRING was visualized using Cytoscape. Afterwards, the key module and hub genes were extracted from the PPI network using the MCODE and cytoHubba plugin. Moreover, the raw data obtained from GSE73166 and GSosarcoma, and provide potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets.

The key genes and functional pathways identified in the study may contribute to understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in the carcinogenesis and progression of lung metastasis originating from osteosarcoma, and provide potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets.

To evaluate the outcomes of the transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) combined with AngioJet thrombectomy in patients with noncirrhotic acute portal vein (PV) thrombosis.Retrospective analysis from January 2014 to March 2017, 23 patients underwent TIPS combined with AngioJet thrombectomy for acute PV thrombosis in noncirrhosis. The rates of technical success, the patency of the PV, liver function changes, and complications were evaluated.Twenty-three patients underwent combined treatment, with a technical success rate of 100%. Twenty-four hours after treatment, PV thrombosis grade was improved significantly (P = .001). link3 Before and after treatment, Albumin (gm/dl), aspartate transaminase (IU/l), alanine transaminase (IU/l), and platelets (109/L) were all significantly improved (P < .05). Minor complications include hematoma, hematuria, and hepatic encephalopathy. After 1 week of treatment, computed tomography scan revealed 8.7% (2/23) cases of hepatic envelope hematoma (thickness less than 2 cm).
